Not sales-y nor did she make me feel bad for not being well educated in eye care. Felt really grateful that I learned a lot regarding eye muscles and how my recent blurring was due to my current work from home style. Got some great tips. I also enjoy wearing colored contact lenses but have a unique BC that it was hard for me to find ones that are comfortable. Dr. Kim was able to show me the difference between daily and monthly and I got to try on some cute grey ones. The assistant was also great and sweet. Didnt catch the name of the receptionist but she is so darn awesome. Helped me choose my color contact lenses, explained billing, and even assisted with getting my PD because I can never remember. Really appreciate her!!! Whole staff here is great. Im sold and would recommend. Finally found an optmetrist office in the OC area!

I am a Costco member and a huge fan of the store, so I decided to have my vision checked by the independent Optometrist located in the store. This would allow me to have my exam, and then take advantage of the great prices in Costco's optical department. On the day of my appointment I was greeted by the friendly receptionist and given paperwork to fill out for my first visit. After checking in, I was seated in front of a machine which scanned my eyes for baseline vision correction. Pretty cool technology which made the actual exam much more productive. Within a short amount of time, Dr. Nguyen called me into the exam room to discuss my vision options. Dr. Nguyen was very professional, friendly and helpful in determining the type of contact lenses that would meet my needs. The doctor next "dialed in" my vision on the machine and wrote my prescription for both glasses and contacts. She was exceptionally helpful and patient in setting up my mono-vision contact lenses permitting me to try different strengths. After my exam i was escorted back to the receptionist for billing and also provided a copy of my prescription. This experience was much different from many of my optometrists were I had to specifically as for my prescription or they would not provide it. I found the overall experience to be excellent and will definitely be coming back for my future exams.

Phone staff didn't notify me. Then once i found the mobile office in the back of Costco, staff spent 10 min asking me to fill out a form and asked me tons of question and told me my insurance is "inactive"?! (which i found out is false) I called my insurance and they told me that's incorrect and I am active. I went to the other Costco for eye exam and other eye exam/optometry office found me in 1 min. Wow, such a different level of service from 2 different office. The admin and level of customer service here is awful. wasted my whole afternoon and had me unnecessary on my the phone with my insurance . Just go to the other Costco and skip this location.

She will listen to my concerns and offer great advice that works well with my lifestyle. At my most recent visit Hanan checked me in. She is friendly and welcoming but of course all staff are also friendly and welcoming. I love coming here! The technology is so much more chill (no pain) and they get my prescription easily w/ a machine and without the embarrassing letter-reading.
