I went in to order new glasses and was very clear about the frames I wanted. The staff initially only ordered the lenses. When I told them I also wanted the frames, they said that was fine and that they would place that order as well. I agreed and left the office. After I had already left, they called me and said the price would be higher (which I expected), but then told me I would have to come back to the office to pay before they could place the order. At that point the process had already taken longer than expected just to order the lenses, so I decided to cancel the order and asked for a refund. After putting me on hold, they called back and told me they would still charge a $46 restocking fee -- even though the issue with the order was not caused by me. As a long-time customer, that was very disappointing to hear. Charging a restocking fee in this situation doesn't feel fair and left a bad impression after years of being a loyal client. I hope the management or owner sees this and reconsiders how this was handled, because I would have preferred to continue coming here. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I won't be returning and I can't recommend it to friends or family.

No appointment needed so I got an exam to see if my vision changed. Then I walked around looking for frames. Really not crazy about any of them. Finally picked one that wasn't that bad. Normally it takes about 2 weeks, they were able to get it in one week. My insurance covered all of it so no charge to me.

Now, to the subject of the contacts I paid for 150.00 Ins. & 110.00 out of pocket for a total of 260.00 & I could not wear the contacts she recommended, so returned to office to order contacts I can wear. Just told her to write my presc. for the brand & strength I had before, TOTAL WASTE OF TIME & $ at this point. Dr. took the contacts back, but only replaced them with 120.00 of contact brand that I had previously worn, which is a cheaper brand. I guess the remainder of the 260.00 was her tip of 140.00. Total spent with for exam & few contacts, ( Ins. & out of pocket) 540.00 & only enough contacts for 5 mos. I DO NOT RECOMMENT THIS OFFICE. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! ITS all about her bottom line. The practice is located on the lower level of a smaller strip center facing University Blvd. Everyone we met at the practice was friendly and competent. There was no pressure whatsoever to buy glasses there... In fact, we were told if we wanted to bring frames in that they'd accommodate that. They try to deceive you into thinking you're singing up paperwork for services. As an extra step to ensure the customer is ok with that extra test being paid for out of pocket or have it separate from the intake paperwork. They know exactly what they're doing. Front desk lady talking about Nikki has been with them for 15 years. Ok and? Nikki caused your office to lose 6 customers in one visit and will never recommend this place to any family or friends. Disgusting treatment. I will make sure all of our family and friends know to stay away.
