Sometimes the double vision would last a week, sometimes a month or more. I had been to five different types of doctors to figure out why this was happening. One recommended a MRI which came back fine. The others offered no relief. I finally had resorted to just living with the double vision, which was miserable! When I saw Dr. Miller I told her about this ongoing issue, knowing she would probably not be able to help me. She took the time to listen to my entire double vision journey! About all the doctors I had seen and how they had all come up empty on a solution. The day I saw her, I was not experiencing double vision. She said if it came back to call her office and come see her. Sadly, the double vision returned about a month after my initial appointment with her. I was able to quickly get in to see her. I am so happy to say that after dealing with double vision on and off for EIGHT years, Dr. Miller finally offered me a solution with prism lenses. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Miller! I'm forever grateful to her for taking the extra time to help me!!! Go see her. You won't regret it. Take care of your eyes!

While the Rx was expired (of course), I was able to text a photo of the broken glasses. Melissa said they could fix them & to come in. We were there less than 15 mins- temporary but sturdy fix! I went in to order new glasses and was very clear about the frames I wanted. The staff initially only ordered the lenses. When I told them I also wanted the frames, they said that was fine and that they would place that order as well. I agreed and left the office. After I had already left, they called me and said the price would be higher (which I expected), but then told me I would have to come back to the office to pay before they could place the order. At that point the process had already taken longer than expected just to order the lenses, so I decided to cancel the order and asked for a refund. After putting me on hold, they called back and told me they would still charge a $46 restocking fee -- even though the issue with the order was not caused by me. As a long-time customer, that was very disappointing to hear. Charging a restocking fee in this situation doesn't feel fair and left a bad impression after years of being a loyal client. I hope the management or owner sees this and reconsiders how this was handled, because I would have preferred to continue coming here. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I won't be returning and I can't recommend it to friends or family.

No appointment needed so I got an exam to see if my vision changed. Then I walked around looking for frames. Really not crazy about any of them. Finally picked one that wasn't that bad. Oh, I should say everyone who worked there was helpful and friendly. Once I picked frames, I sat with a woman who took my order. Told her I needed them quick. Normally it takes about 2 weeks, they were able to get it in one week. My insurance covered all of it so no charge to me.

I found my eyeglasses on the floor with one of the lenses popped out. I tried my best to pop it back in but to no avail. It was late in the evening and I wasn't sure if there was any help to be found but I decided to drive to the nearest Visionworks to see if they could do anything before they closed for the day. I received a friendly greeting from both of the in store employees. I explained my situation to them and Glorissa, the lead specialist looked at my glasses and said that she believed that they could be repaired. She went to grab a special tool and went straight to work on realigning and securing the lens back into the frame. She not only did a very professional job, but she was very efficient as it only took her about 5 minutes. I then spoke with the Martin, The general manager, about receiving a spare pair of glasses. He was able to quickly find my insurance information through my employer, and explained to me all of my coverage options and employee perks. He helped me set up an appointment with the optometrist and gave me a copy of my coverage options. All and all, I was in and out with my repaired glasses and a eye appointment in about 15 minutes. Over the…read moreyears, I have always respected and appreciated Dr. Yonkers as a physician, but unfortunately the experience with the office staff during my recent follow-up visits has been extremely disappointing. The staff seems to change frequently, and this current team appears disorganized, unprofessional, and lacking in customer service skills. In just a two-week period, I encountered multiple issues that I had never experienced before during my many years with this practice. The staff was not helpful, not welcoming, and unwilling to go above and beyond for longtime patients. It is disappointing to leave after being a loyal patient for so long, but because of these experiences, I have decided to find a new provider. The search now begins.
