Recently I had to reorder a lost contact Lens from Dr Joe, he charged my insurance $200 for a single Len, and I just found out Costco only chargers $41per Len, it sucks that my whole family were his patients for more then 20-30 years, and we have been overpaid him for all these years!!! my daughter is doing the CRT (Ortho K) at Dr. Joe's optometry (20/20 Vision Optometry) and we are satisified with this therapy so far. "CRT (Corneal refractive therapy) is a non-invasive and reversible vision correction where engineered contacts are worn to reduce and eliminate nearsightedness and astismatism. These contact lenses are worn overnight to reshape the eye and then remove upon awakening." (quote from Dr. Joe CRT info) Dr. Joe is very caring and he follows up with my daughter once in few weeks. The price is not cheap since insurance is not covered but CRT is an effective therapy and it's very amazing. Dr. Joe explains the steps very thoroughly and clearly. I only regret that my daughter should have done CRT sooner but we postponed our decision. We're so glad that we have a great optometrist in our neighborhood. Highly recommended. read more

Was looking for a new Local optometrist. After doing a little bit of research on yelp, I came across Dr. Jonathan Joe. Was very happy with my decision. I had an eye exam performed to get my new subscription for contact lenses. They were able to make me an appointment right away. Dr. JOE and his team are very professional and friendly. Establishment was very clean and organized. The services were very reasonably priced. My contacts lenses came in just two days later, and they called me right away to inform me. I have been going to Dr. Joe for years and he knows the struggle I have been going through with eye infections from over wearing contacts ALL the time. Yea, I know. Dr. Joe and his staff are great! After seeing the many great reviews on Yelp, I decided to go here for my annual eye exam! Luckily, Dr. Joe is an in network physician for my insurance, so the exam was fully covered. I called the office and the staff was super nice and verified my insurance prior to making an appointment for me. I was able to go the same day for the exam which was really convenient. Dr. Joe was very calm and efficient. He did a thorough exam with his apparatus, and it didn't take very long which was nice. I just adore Dr. Joe, Natasha and everyone who's there. They are so helpful. Dr. Joe is gentle, kind and super knowledgeable. He helped answer any and all questions I may have. He's so down to earth! I came by once during Natasha's lunch break to place my refill order for contact lenses and I'm surprised that he was actually helping me place the order himself. I'm sure other doctors elsewhere wouldn't want to do any administrative work especially with his staff not around. He helped me get the perfect fit for my glasses on right. I just can't race enough about him. Natasha is such a sweetheart. I just called her right now to schedule my annual exam for my husband and I after receiving their reminder post card and she knew who I was just from the sound of my voice. This office, more specifically receptionist was hesitant to provide me a copy of my eye exam and eyeglass prescription. I asked at the end of my exam for a copy and I was denied. I asked after I received my prescription glasses and I was denied a copy of my prescription. They like to hold onto this information so that you can only go to them to purchase glasses. This is not right and it is against the law and they do it very subtly. read more

I had my eyes examined here on 10/15/11. I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful the customer service is here. I was telling Dr. Joe that I tore my last pair of contact lenses and he told me whenever I am in dire need of a pair because they have been torn or if I ran out, he would happily provide me with a pair free of charge. I came back in today 10/18/11 order contact lenses and find a new pair of glasses. I told Dr. Joe that my trial pair tore and he immediately gave me another pair to help me until my contacts came in. His receptionist, Natasha was very friendly and helped me pick out a pair of Prada glasses today. 20/20 Vision Optometry provides wonderful, personalized customer service which is something you will not find if you are getting your glasses from larger stores such as Sam's Club or Costco. read more

Having recently noticed a slight vision issue, I decided to get an eye exam. Using Yelp and combined with the proximity to my home, chose 20/20 Vision Optometry. It was the best decision I could have made. My wife and I had checked that our insurance coverage could be used and had called and left a message to confirm as such the night before. We received a very prompt and polite reply message and upon my arrival mentioned the call. It was immediately confirmed and I was very warmly welcomed by Natasha. Upon completing a brief form I was met by Dr. Joe, who has the best 'bedside' manner of any medical practitioner I have met. Polite, friendly, he asked questions and explained very clearly and concisely what was to take place as well as the results. All costs were explained and the hardest decision I had to make was to choose which frames from the huge selection available in store. At no time was I felt to be rushed or pushed and was offered advice from Natasha a few times. I highly, HIGHLY recommend this establishment, friendly, extremely professional and well worth my time.
