I was having issues with my current glasses and when I went to another optometrist they just said my prescription did not change and did not offer any solutions for my vision problem. I was still not happy and decided to try a new place and tried Dr. Liu. It was the best decision I could have made. It is further out than my previous optometrist but worth the drive. Dr. Liu took the time to hear my concerns and complete a thorough exam. After addressing my issues reading he informed me that my prescription was too strong and by adjusting it, my vision would improve and it did! Wow, wow, wow! Just wow! From initial phone call through the end of the first appointment, Dr. Liu and staff were friendly, competent and efficient. They were very warm and welcoming. Dr. Liu's staff was able to get me into an appointment for my son earlier than expected. Once there, his staff made us feel warm and welcome prior to actually being seen by Dr. Liu. Dr. Liu was able to detect an astigmatism in my son's eye that had previously gone on notice for quite some time. And once Dr. Liu told me that other optometrist's diagnosed my son with 20/20 vision (which he was), they don't normally want to upsell you, thus he never had the astigmatism diagnosed previously. So the mere fact that Dr. Liu defended other optometrist's was a big selling point for me to not only bolster my confidence in him as a proficient optometrist. It also made me a believer in his services and business. If you are a sport parent and need your student athlete's vision tested; Dr. Liu is the way to go! I'll definitely recommend Dr. Liu to anyone willing to listen. read more

This is my first time visiting this office and i have to say that im impressed with how courteous and professionals each staff is. They're very welcoming and friendly. My appointment was early in the morning and since i was the only one there, i was able to get in and out very fast and the check-in process was smooth. I picked up my new glasses from them today and they fit me perfectly. Of course i spent a lot of time choosing the glasses and the guy helps me choose the right glasses for me because i'm really picky. Originally i picked a metal frame Raybans and then the guy helps me with an alternate options because i told him that i need glasses that has nose bridges. He gave me the pros and cons about having nose bridges on the metal frame and ultimately gave me other options that has similar style but won't leave nose bridge mark on your nose. In the end, I ended up getting the glasses that he picked. One thing to note is that i wish they would've called me when my glasses was ready for pick up, but i won't let it stop me from not going to this place again. read more

So happy I found this optometry office! I was experiencing discomfort in my right eye for several days and could not figure out what was wrong... so I turned to the trusty Yelp community to find the nearest optometrist. I called Dr. Liu's office and was able to see Dr. Granados for a same-day appointment. Upon arrival, the receptionist assisted me right away and I was able to fill out the forms and be seen by the doctor within 5 minutes. My visit with Dr. Granados was very pleasant. I first took a series of vision tests, and then he proceeded to examine my eye. Not long after, he located the issue, explained what caused it, and how to treat it. Phew! Thankfully, we were able to catch the problem before it got worse. Dr. Granados is very knowledgeable in his line of work and has a friendly and calming demeanor. I felt comfortable throughout my visit and was able to receive a solution right away. After my visit, my eye already feels way better! All staff are all super friendly and helpful. You can tell that the office is a positive environment. I got a contact eye exam today with Dr. Chang and she was wonderful. She was patient and answered all of my questions. The guy (sorry I forget his name) who helped me with teaching me how to put and take off contacts was so nice and patient. He explained a lot of things to me without me having to ask and also was very clear about my insurance benefits and whatnot. Came in for a check up for the family and was pleasantly surprise with how easy and understanding Dr Alex and his staff were. Dr Alex did a very thorough but pleasant eye exams for us but it was 'fun' for my 7 and 4 yo. Both of them think it was pretend play, and that he was so cool, and the entire thing was so much fun that they couldn't wait to go back ‍ Once done, the front office was very patient in helping us choose the glasses as well as explaining insurance procedure. My sister referred me to Dr. Liu a couple years ago as I was looking for a new place to get my glasses. I am beyond impressed by how kind everyone is here. I am even more impressed by the quality of the frames. Usually at other places, because my lenses are so thick, after a couple months my lenses would pop out of their frames. The frames I received here, the lenses haven't popped out and it's already been I think 2 years? This makes me so happy! Dr. Liu is awesome. I had such a wonderful experience, the gentleman who assisted us in choosing our glasses was not only patient, he was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Dr. Liu's staff was very professional upon my arrival for my very first visit. As soon as I arrived they greeted me and asked me to fill out the needed (two pages) medical paperwork. Shortly thereafter, the receptionist escorted me to Dr. Nelson's office who was EXCEPTIONALLY NICE. He asked what my concerns were and explained the process. He took my old prescription/glasses and showed me what I had been looking through (my current vision), and helped me with getting a new prescription, basically showing how crisp my vision could and should be, whims still allowing me to choose for myself/what's best for me. The entire process went smoothly and effortlessly. Dr. Nelson, without a doubt, well knowledgeable in the field of optometrist.
