They refused to care for me and told me they had two other "emergencies" to be attended to. I owed up to my tardiness but I don't owe anyone an explanation. Just my own eye issues. I was standing in the middle of a parking lot and I knew they could see me. I remained calm and I was on the phone with them. They wanted to me to come on my restricted unavailability. But I was very assertive about my availability. The next one goes all the way to 7 weeks later. I walked back into my car and sat there. But, I decided to go back to their office and handle it in person. They really looked scared and they really had to turn me away. It was too early for the yelling or fighting and I was very angry they won't take a new patient in. My timing is really nobody's business and it's not my fault they have "emergencies". Sounds to me they prioritize their "regulars" and their "emergencies". Sounds to me like some white privileged care to me. But, that's cool, I'll stick to a faculty clinic who only focuses on the eyes and not on the color of anybody's skin. Sorry I had to say it. But it's been said and I'll continue to repost this until they find a lenient way for giving their patients good care or, a doable solution for a grace period. Otherwise they can go out of business if they continue to turn down people like that. So I sat in my vehicle for more than an hour calming down and finding better eye care clinics closer to where I live... Don't go here, if you do one wrong thing, you're out. This has nothing to do with the service he provides. They will dilate your eyes and tell you to go look at glasses. Makes sense but when you ask about prices they give you a look. Sorry I can't read a price after you guys just dilated my eyes. Realized they added extra stuff only due to the price being off. But again it's hard to read what they are doing because of your eyes being dilated. They told me it would be around 2 weeks for my glasses. It's now been over 3 weeks and will probably be at least 4 by the time I get them. Just as reference, my wife went to lenscrafters 5 days after me, got her first pair of glasses back, realized it was slightly off, had another appointment days later, and now has had her second pair for around a week now. I get glasses and feel nausea and vision strained. Go back to get lenses checked and they are spot on with new prescription. make appointment with Dr again and assist again is great and get correct prescription. Dr B comes in and said to me" usually the dilation refraction works. she said she would split the difference and gave me new prescription. Split the difference? Now i meed to go back and get 2 new lenses in my glasses.
