Banana matcha latte is my go to! I can never pull myself to order something else because it's THAT good!

Stopped by for some Vietnamese coffee. It's located in Kirkland inside of a Ding Tea. Street parking nearby but looks like it can fill up fast. The shop is relatively small and does have a lot of seats. Restroom is shared with other businesses. Ordered a condensed milk coffee latte and an egg coffee for my husband. Coffee came out relatively quick in about 5 minutes. The Vietnamese coffee is made in a big batch and reheated if the customer orders hot. They use a mixture of arabica and robusta coffee beans from Vietnam. Overall, my impression felt like it was underwhelmed. The coffee was pretty average for a Vietnamese coffee. They have other competitors in the area like Starbucks and Urban Coffee lounge.

SNOOPY CUPS! They offered drinks in snoopy cups for a limited amount of time and I'm so glad I was able to get my hands on one! The cafe is very small with limited seating but it's super cute! We ordered the coconut matcha cloud but with whole milk instead of coconut water ($6.50), the creamy dream coffee ($6.75) and the snoopy cups were $3.99 each. I would come back again for the creamy dream coffee! It's strong but sweet and so yummy! I love supporting small local businesses and I can't wait to see what else they have in store! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The salt coffee is amazing!!! I found them at folklife festival at the Seattle center--they will also be back for bite of Seattle--after the first one, I came back 4 more times over the weekend. In fact I came back the last day just to get their coffee and got two before heading right back to work. I hope they open a Seattle store but right now they're in Lynwood and Kirkland, and I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend making a stop when you're in either place to try the salt coffee it's so delicious!!! Also the crew working the tent were all very very sweet. I can't wait to come back!

The egg coffee was good, I really enjoyed the egg foam. The service was quick. It's a cute little coffee shop! BUT I was confused when I was trying to find them. It's also a Ding Tea boba shop? Parking was just ok. There's lots of front parking but gets filled up quickly.

Great spot for Vietnamese coffee. The flight is shareable for at least 2 people. I enjoyed the salty and egg coffee. The regular Vietnamese coffee was okay. I'd come back.

Hopefully I had an off day visit. I'm always excited anytime I see a place that offers Viet coffee (especially on the Eastside), but was let down. Although the ca phe sua da was strong, I can't help to think the coffee tasted burnt and/or the type of coffee roast was just a bit off. The blended coconut coffee started off ok at first, but later came to taste artificial, as if some overly-sweetened coconut milk substitute was used. The service was friendly at least, but I do expect a better product from a specialty Viet coffee place honestly.

The sweetest husband-wife joint that serves my favorite drinks! This was my first time trying salt coffee and egg coffee and I never expected that I'd love them more than my go-to classic Vietnamese coffee!

Staff were super friendly and helpful. I was in downtown Kirkland on a warm sunny Wednesday and needed a nice cool refreshing drink without too much of caffeine. I opted for the coconut coffee and it was sooo good! Check them out if you're at the market (3pm to 7pm on Wednesdays). They're right by the bathrooms.

I went here for their Vietnamese coffee flight, featuring 3 different types of Vietnamese coffee fairly commonly seen in Vietnamese coffee shops: egg coffee (ca phe trung), salt coffee (ca phe muoi), and condensed milk coffee latte (bac xiu). For $12 before tax, it is quite steep for 3 small coffee cups, but I guess you pay a premium for the variety. Note that the flight is dine-in only, but it was not busy on a Sunday and most of the small set of tables was empty. Drinks came out fairly quickly, with excellent presentation. The egg coffee and salt coffee were fairly good, with the cream being on the thicker side. The condensed milk coffee is just okay - some hints of condensed milk flavor but this drink tasted most watered down in comparison. The large amount of ice is acceptable as the coffee itself here is quite strong, so some dilution is recommended. I personally cannot handle too much caffeine so I togo-ed the bac xiu and they gave me a nice small cup with the business logo on it, which I was able to enjoy afterwards.

I absolutely love their specialty drinks like honey cardamom, and a shakerato. The vibe and atmosphere is wonderful. It's usually social and low-key but never too loud. They have excellent food, matcha with option to remove sugar (not all coffee shops have this!). Generally, I feel like their staff is really great! Love the location minus the issues with parking being tricky for a quick stop, sometimes need to pay. I keep coming back here! With gas prices over six dollars and budgets getting tighter for so many the one thing that hinders me is their prices. Their baseline drinks are an average of $5.75 + tip. Quiche slice is $8 two hard boiled eggs near $4. Typical typically if I'm gonna spend almost $10 I'd rather buy a fancy drink like a bubble tea or go out for an appetizer and food. When you own your own espresso machine and Matcha at home it's hard to justify getting such expensive drinks unless there is that "I can't make this at home" appeal - housemade syrups, Boba, etc I do love that urban coffee lounge has pour over options which can be time-consuming and cold brew, which is delicious and also more time-consuming. I appreciate their presence in the neighborhood. Having lived in Seattle for so long with so much access to incredible coffee I appreciate urban coffee lounges level of expertise with coffee. It is more rare on the east side. (Zoka is great of course!) And I will keep coming back, but sparingly due to prices. (Am I the only one who feels this way? Let me know!) Thanks for being here, urban coffee lounge!

They do have a restroom, plenty of seating outside, kinda limited seating inside. They do have a wide array of offerings. I got the spinach and feta quiche with a strawberry matcha. The spinach quiche was really good. I thoroughly enjoyed that. My strawberry matcha was not too sweet (I usually ask for everything half sweet and did not this time). The staff were friendly. Prices are reasonable for this day and age. I sat outside and enjoyed the sun! It's a great place to hang out, probably not great for groups unless you sit outside. Dogs are not allowed inside, so tie them up or have a buddy watch them while you go inside. Parking is street or under an apartment complex near by. Not sure if you pay or validate inside those apartment retail parking garages because I parked along the side streets. Park Mobile is the app you use to pay for parking. I paid about $4 ish for an hour. Overall, if I'm in the area and got the time to hangout, it's a cute place to do so.

Be aware that parts of this Juanita area, including the streets, are part of the development and is NOT regular city-parking. They are notorious for ferocious private parking meter-readers (not part of the city). Be sure to read the sign before leaving the vehicle. The Drinks and Food: Chocolate Oolong Milk Tea, $6.75(L) - 3.5 Stars The cashier said this is their most popular drinks. It still tasted quite sweet at 30% sweetness. Hubby said it tastes more like a chocolate milk. Ding it, he's right. (See what I did there.) Egg Coffee, $6.25 - 4 Stars Egg coffee is a northern Vietnamese specialty. Being in a paper cup takes away some of the charm, but such as is the U.S. lifestyle. It tasted as expected, a stronger, more roasted Viet coffee flavor. Mango Ice Tea, $6.75 - 3.5 Stars This is more of a mango drink with some tea taste - very fruity tea. Pandan Bubble Waffle, $7 - 4 Stars I came the second time mostly for this waffle. Served with whip cream and toasted coconut flake, the cashier looked at me like I grew an extra eye when I said whip cream only, no coconut. She literally didn't know how to respond to me. I am guessing they pre-pack the cream with the coconut already in it, and she didn't have time to pack another one. She handed us the bag with what we didn't want and left. I should lower the rating more, but I do like this waffle.

THRULINE COFFEE @ DOWNTOWN KIRKLAND…read more Parking is available along the street, and there are also multiple parking lots throughout downtown Kirkland. I ended up parking near the small plaza with the UPS Store and Nothing Bundt Cakes, and it was only about a 3-minute walk to get there. When I walked in around 9:30 AM on a Tuesday, it was already pretty packed. There were a lot of people on their laptops, grabbing coffee, and just hanging out, it felt super lively. I love the overall environment of downtown Kirkland, so I was really excited to finally try this spot since it's been on my radar for a while. I was also meeting a friend, which made the experience even better. I ordered their pizza scone, and it looked so good, and it definitely delivered. It was warm, crusty, and had such a unique flavor combination. I've honestly never had anything like it before, and it just felt perfect for a spring morning. I also got a hot chocolate, which wasn't my favorite. It leaned more on the watery side. The space itself is really nice and spacious. They have plenty of seating in both the front and back, which is great whether you're meeting friends or getting work done. Their menu is also pretty extensive, with options like sandwiches, pastries, drip coffee, matcha, vanilla lattes pretty much everything you'd expect from a café. One thing I appreciated was how fast the service was. Our order came out in less than two minutes, which was impressive, especially given how busy it was. The staff were also super friendly, which always makes a difference. Overall, I really enjoyed the vibe here. Even though the hot chocolate could've been better, I'd still definitely come back and try more items.

We got to sample five teas and several pieces of chocolate, as well as snacks to clear the palate between teas. We learned about tea and how its harvested, as well as the processing of tea. We also learned about the tea flavor wheel and identified tea tasting notes in the sampled teas. I do wish there was more of a compare and contrast between the teas - it would have been cool to try the same teas but early vs late season, or tea processed similarly but from different regions. If you're new to tea though, the classes are perfect for you!

We had seen several…read morepop up in the past, but hadn't seen anything interesting in the past few months, so we dropped in to ask about them. Apparently rather than being prescheduled most of the time, they are held on demand. We asked for an Oolong tasting session and was able to get one penciled in a couple of weeks later. The store itself is appropriately decorated for a modern and trendy tea shop. There's a bit of an overpowering perfume that lingers throughout the store. It's not the best setting for a tea tasting, especially when trying to differentiate tasting notes when the olfactory glands are already completely saturated with perfume. LizzyKate has a decent selection of true tea, nothing super unique or rare, but I think they lean towards the more accessible blends and tisanes in the first place. Oolong Tasting Class ($35/per person) - Tasting sessions are held in the bar area, brewed mostly using gaiwan with carefully measured water temperature and volume. The class provides some educational material including laminated papers describing the tea production process, growing regions, anatomy, etc. More importantly, unlike some other tasting sessions I've attended, they actually provide pencil and paper, along with brewing instructions, to write down cupping and tasting notes. It certainly beats taking notes on my phone as I usually do. For this course, we tasted a white tea and four different oolongs. My personal tasting notes as follows (for future reference for myself): Bai Mu Dan - Mild, mellow, sweet and slightly astringent flavor with notes of honey and hay. Light golden liquid that's very easy to drink. Tie Guan Yin - Caramelized sweetness, vegetal leafy with a tiny earthy element. Darker golden color with more astringency and round lingering taste. The leaves smell smoky and roasted. Baihao - The smell is distinctively roasty and earthy, approaching the fermented smell of puerh. It has a brownish color and tastes smoky and earthy like peat. Formosa Oolong - It tastes of malt and molasses, with a certain oxidized toastiness. The color is more dark brown although it's not very astringent given the color. Osmanthus Oolong - This smells more malty and surprisingly not that flowery in aroma. The mouthfeel is extremely creamy and silky, almost like milk with the balanced taste of barley and hops with only a slight osmanthus flowery taste in the background. I think the base used is Jin Xuan given the milkiness. With the tasting also comes some treats including mini muffins and some tea infused bars from a chocolatier in Singapore, Fossa Chocolate. I think LizzyKate is more geared towards people who don't have much experience with tea and want a place that's extremely welcoming and modern. They have lattes and plenty of herbal and fruity infusions to help beginners ease into the complexities of tea, While this shop isn't for me, more tea shops are always welcome in the area. I'd definitely recommend it to my friends who want to dip their toes into the world of tea. Bathrooms - Single unisex room.
