    Cajun Shrimp Platter

Tried the shrimp boil in the foil pan and it was good! The sauce was plentiful and tasted good. The shrimp was also plentiful. I just wish it came with some sausage and more corn and potato. Other than that, it was delicious.

    #2 AMAZING!

Would give 10 stars! Service was ok. This location is in a mall food court, so the service vibes are exactly that- quick, short, little conversation. The vibe is not the island vibe, which I could see would be a reason for someone to pass this place up, but that would be a huge mistake. Because it seems very "mall food" like, this place may not seem like a trendy, "only in HI" type of vibe, but you are mistaken. The food 1000000% makes up for any lack of island vibes. Pro tip- you can take it to- go and relocate to a more sunny, beachy vibe! The food here tho..... sooooo good. We got the #2 garlic shrimp and a side of fries and LET ME TELL YOU! it does not disappoint! I swear it's better than any of those north shore shrimps. I know I know, it's not possible, but imagine this: NO PEEL, clean hands, lightly battered plump shrimp- so crispy, so juicy- with so much garlic and butter that you doctor would disapprove.. served on a cute platter with a heart shaped rice.. and the portions.. THE PORTIONS... two shrimp plates in the north shore has NOTHING on one platter here. This is a MUST SHARE. I swear I'm really good at picking good food! Just try it before you walk away! It's worth it!

This place was such a great surprise! We didn't feel like going far after being at the beach all day so we came over to the food court. It might seem pricey but the portions are insane! The two of us couldn't finish this platter. I would say that it's perfect for a family of three. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and there was so much garlic! *I would've loved the garlic a bit more cooked but it was so good! This garlic shrimp dish truly did not disappoint!

Second time eating here and noodles were just as good as I remembered them The gimmick with the standing noodles is cute and makes for a great photo but the flavour is there , I asked for spicy and it had a nice kick although not over the top in anyway It's food court food so it's all of that but delicious at the same time

Good gimmick but need to work on the placement of the chopsticks (more parallel /horizontal) to make it look more like suspending in the air. Right off the bat you could see lots of ingredients. The shrimp rice is the best with lots of shrimpsthe owner puts a lot of thoughts into making his items. Decorated art and yet very tasty. The cashier did warned us it would take more Or less 15 mins to make the noodles, initially I didn't understand until we ate it, everything was freshly made after it was ordered, not just have noodles and rice ready then pull sauce over and call it a day. Worth every minute waited.

Thank you Yelp Elite Li Y. for introducing me to this eatery. As you said, the shrimp noodles were tasty! Added bonus with the sausage in their House Special. I was very impressed with their garlic shrimp platter too. This really did taste as good as it looks! Meant for sharing, this had at least a dozen fried shrimp with an abundance of fresh garlic and butter. Very nice of them to provide disposable gloves for handling shells or shrimp tails. Or to ever politely sop up the buttery garlic goodness with a pinch of rice LOL This was the perfect size to share with Li Y. and Dan O. :)

A new food counter in the main foodcourt of the Royal Hawaiian Center. 206 BCE coming from California with some of the tastiest seafood and sausage morsels. Couldn't decide on the sausage or the shrimp "flying noodles" so got the house a special which is a combination of both. Yes. We have other restaurants featuring similar but not as tasty as these! For added flavor, get a container of chili sauce to mix in. One of my lunch partners enjoyed the sausage so much she got a side order of it to take home. Featuring various seafood platters, was focused on the Cajun spice snow crab and shrimp combo. Ordered it mild and found it perfect, not overpowering in flavor. Can also order seafood in a garlic butter sauce. Different Asian snacks snd chips also available here. With more than enough food we opted out of the snacks. Much thanks 206 BCE for coming to Hawaii. I will be back for more seafood goodness! Have my eyes on that garlic shrimp plate! Blessing of business just yesterday. Tomorrow is the official grand opening. If Kamaaina, be sure to mention to them. Also be sure to get your kamaaina or military parking validation from Concierge Desk just off of ground floor center stage in the Royal Hawaiian Center!

They just opened up in the food court at Royal Hawaiian Center and it definitely did not disappoint! We tried their famous house anti-gravity noodles and it was amazing! It had a little bit of spice, so if you're a big fan of spicy food, this will be the perfect food for you! We also tried their garlic shrimp and it's definitely worth the try! It was very buttery and the shrimp was so soft! If you want to go for something to share, definitely try their crab and shrimp platter! The sauce was so delicious and the seafood was fresh! Prices were affordable too, definitely worth to check out when you're at the Royal Hawaiian Center!

A seafood boil from a food court does not sound appetizing but my friend was crazy enough to try it & wow what a surprise. She ordered the #3 which is the Cajun crab & shrimp platter. It came with crab, shrimp, corn, potatoes and rice. The sauce was super garlicky and delicious. And the portion was big enough to feed at least 2 people. Compared to other seafood boil places the prices were really reasonable. And I did see another review show that they offer kamaaina discount which is awesome.

This place took us by surprise with how delicious the food was! Don't let the idea of it being food court food steer you away, the flavors and portions were unmatched. We got the shrimp noodles and the clam boil and wow was it yummy! We went a little later in the night and it was busy but the service was great and the food was fresh.

Ordered door dash for pick up and LOVED this place! They packed it all tight in a foil platter, with lemons inside too! Gloves and utensils were all included. The inside was magnificent, plenty of sauce and garlic, the snow crab and shrimp were super fresh!!! Plenty of potatoes as well :) if you want garlic shrimp, don't be intimidated that it's in a food court. It's so much better than the food trucks and better quality for the price!! Thank you for making such delicious AND affordable food!!

There are meals one enjoys. Meals one admires. Meals one respectfully documents, notes the flavor balance of, and later describes using words like "elegant" and "well-executed." And then there are meals that rock your world. This was one of them. Kaiten sushi, or conveyor belt sushi, is a casual, affordable Japanese dining style invented in 1958 where plates of sushi rotate on a motorized belt passing diners, allowing them to select dishes directly. Here at Kaiten Sushi Ginza Onodera, it's not the typical catwalk of pre-made maki rolls, nigiri, and other offering. You order off a kiosk and then it is fast-tracked to your table via sushi belt. Here at Kaiten Sushi Ginza Onodera, you are granted the ability to try their Edomae-style sushi for a more affordable price. Edomae-style sushi is a traditional Tokyo cuisine originating in the 1820s, featuring seafood, often cured, marinated, or simmered, served atop rice seasoned with red vinegar (akasu). It focuses on enhancing fish flavor through technique rather than just raw freshness, historically acting as fast food for 19th-century Edo residents. I would have ordered more but I was not very assertive and everyone wanted the iPad . Most of the nigiri orders were only one at the price point I am used to paying for two and I prefer the experience of sharing. My husband at the other table sampled more than I did. Deep fried Octopus and Toro, I had Yellow Tail and Carpacio, sample two rolls. Big surprise, the French fries were outstanding. The check worked out to about 50 pp. I think that was mostly my husband who enjoyed an array of dishes. As mentioned in other reviews, the bill stacks up quickly. I given them 4 stars for uniqueness, mostly.

After walking around, the hostess asked if we had a reservation. I gave her my name, but she said we didn't have one, even though the restaurant was nearly empty. She then explained that our reservation was actually at their sister restaurant around the other side of the building. We went over there and found that it was primarily a sushi restaurant, which wasn't really what we were looking for. We had expected more of an izakaya-style experience, so we canceled the reservation and returned to the original restaurant. Once seated, the service was good and our server was attentive throughout the meal. One thing that was a little confusing was that sushi and sashimi had to be ordered from the sister restaurant, even though we were dining in the other restaurant. The food was brought over and served to us without any issues, and there were no problems with the bill, but it took us a while to understand how the two restaurants operated together. We ordered several dishes, including chicken skin wrapped gyoza, crab tempura, an assorted sashimi platter, a cream cheese and fish roe appetizer served with toast, an egg dish topped with fish roe, chicken karaage, and the miso butterfish. The highlights for me were the chicken karaage, miso butterfish, and gyoza. I enjoyed them enough to order another round of the gyoza and chicken. That said, many of the dishes leaned toward the sweeter side of Japanese cuisine, which just isn't my personal preference. If you enjoy those flavors, your experience may be different. Overall, the food was good, the service was solid, and there were a few standout dishes. The confusion with the reservation, entrance setup, and relationship between the two restaurants got the evening off to an awkward start, but the meal improved once we were seated. I'm not really a Japanese food person, so four stars is probably the highest rating I could realistically give a Japanese restaurant. With that in mind, I thought they did a good job, and there were a few dishes I would consider ordering again.

DOMO Café, you do NOT disappoint! Domo's Kahala location has quickly become our go-to, grab-and-go…read moresushi joint. Although they have a clean and comfortable space for dining in, we regularly stop by after church or on the weekends for something to savor at our favorite park. Seriously, it's easy to enjoy their bowls, sushi sets, or bentos anytime and anyplace. We've got a passion for this place. Here's how this love affair started...I discovered Domo when a friend invited me for some sushi and sips at her place. I was amazed at the beautiful platter of sushi that accompanied our sake and wine. My friends are the best hosts! I devoured the bombs, nigiris and rolls (in between sips!). Everything was simply delicious! Fast forward a few months, I order a couple sushi sets to host a poolside, golden-hour birthday get together at my other friend's home. (I know, you want to be part of this squad, right?!). Anyway, using the online order system is a snap! My hubby went in to pick up the sushi and said they were slammed but our sushi sets were ready to go. This time we ordered some ikura because the hubby and my bestie are big fans. Both agree it was fresh and fantastic! And the garlic set with the flash-seared fish and a hint of mayo is a MUST-try. We also ordered a California roll for my friend's aunt who is not really a sushi fan. She delighted in several pieces and even enjoyed the nigiri from the garlic set. Total convert! After enjoying the platters and sets, we had to try the bentos and bowls. This time it's just us and the pup at the park. The bentos provide a great variety and comes with miso soup. The hubby really likes the shrimp tempura with ahi and salmon nigiri and ahi poke. It's a steal at less than $20. I'm a bowl girl myself and like the spicy tempura. The tempura is cooked crisp yet tender. The spicy ahi poke combined with the creamy crab salad and the crunchy ocean salad delights all my tastes buds. It's truly an adventure in finding the perfect bite--and there are so many in this bowl! I also love the seared salmon bowl. It is melt-in-your-mouth goodness. I add the fried onions for some texture. You know a place is top-notch when you can feel confident that anything off their menu will satisfy your cravings. Because this is a Yelp review, here are some helpful tips. For sushi platters, pre-order. The online system is simple to use. Service is fast and efficient if you're just walking in for a quick bite or to grab something to go. Parking has always been easy for us to find in the small lot in the complex where Domo is located. It's right next to Assagio's Kahala. But if you're worried about parking, I suggest ordering in advance and then just picking up. This works great during peak dining hours. If you want fresh, delicious sushi that is reasonably priced be like us and visit Domo Café. You will probably also be like us and want to go back to try more.

This was my dinner day 1 of my trip back home. So delicious that I ordered again on the last…read moredinner of my trip! Spicy ahi bomb and Garlic salmon $18 - it's worth it for 8 quality pieces. The garlic salmon didn't have too much smokiness which I liked. They are not stingy when filling the inari with the spicy ahi. I did online ordering for easy pick up since the parking lot can be filled during dinner rush.
