I dropped off 4 jackets on Friday, July 3rd for dry cleaning (with one small alteration for a hole in a jacket pocket). I was given a pickup date one week later, Friday July 10th. I arrived the following Tuesday, July 14th only to learn my items were not in the store despite the additional 4 days. After waiting for the gentleman behind the counter to place a few phone calls to locate my order, I was handed his cell phone and spoke with who I can only assume was the manager. I was told the jackets were still offsite due to one of the jackets being identified as "at risk" of being damaged, if dry cleaned. I found it inconsiderate that no one bothered to call me before making the trip to the store to learn for myself but honestly, not the end of the world. I was asked if I wanted them to dry clean it anyways and risk potential damage, or if I would instead wish for them to leave that jacket out and be given "store credit" for the dry clean purchase of that jacket. I responded clearly to please simply return the jackets - do not risk damage - and we will figure out the compensation (wasn't thrilled about having store credit pushed as the solution as I use dry cleaning services maybe once every 4-5 years and certainly would hesitate to be a return customer for this particular business given the experience so far). He agreed and told me the jackets would be available for pickup the next day. I received a call the next day, Wednesday, July 15th that my order had arrived and is ready for pickup. I returned to the store Monday, July 20th where the manager accepted my ticket, hung my jackets on the rack for me to take, and began what looked to be the steps of issuing a store credit. During that time, I instantly noticed the jacket "not dry cleaned" was in fact damaged due to significant bleeding red ink from the patches onto the white fabric. I immediately pointed this out to the manager, who quickly became defensive almost to the point of gaslighting me that I should have expected it. To be clear: I was asked directly if I wanted to assume the risk of damage and dry cleaning it after they identified the jacket as a risk. I told them clearly "no" and now I can't help but wonder if they had already damaged the item and had hoped I would have said "yes" to free them of responsibility. But I will never know for sure. I was told "We don't know it's going to do that until we do it." So is it then my mistake that I trusted their expertise to know EXACTLY that? In fact, that would seem to me to be the point of the hesitation expressed in the earlier phone call. His tone was stern, defensive, and at times aggressive or belittling. I feel confidently that he had no intention of discussing the damaged item with me had I not forced the conversation, and he would have been more than content for me to walk right out his door unknowingly. I do not own a business, but I've been a patron to many in 30+ years. I would not have returned either way but wouldn't have taken the time to write this review had any consideration to me as a customer been given. A recommendation? How about a phone call when you noticed the damage, "Hello sir. We've received your jackets back and I'm very sorry to inform you that one of the jackets was damaged in the process. While these things rarely happen, you trusted us with your valuables and we at Saber take that responsibility very seriously. Please come in so that we can look over the jacket together and come to an agreement on how we can make this right. Your business is important to us." Instead, I was met with rudeness and indifference. Saber provided a cash refund of $27 for the dry cleaning, and that's it. Sadly, the damaged item is vintage and not easily or cheaply replaceable. Two of the other three jackets appear fine, including the hole in the pocket. A third, however, wasn't cleaned to satisfaction (will share picture). I immediately took the damaged jacket next door to Jones Dry Cleaning to see if it was fixable but was unfortunately told no. There are many, many dry cleaners in the Charlotte area. I encourage any curious reader to strongly consider them over Saber.

They offer no service outside of business hours M-F. They do not have a customer service phone…read morenumber. [EDIT: They have a voice mail line, but you cannot reach a human.] All contact with them is through their app. If you leave a message on their app, they don't call back until the following business day. In addition, we clearly specified that NO scented products were to be used. We got our clothes back reeking of some nauseating perfumed laundry product. All of our clothes will have to be rewashed. I don't know whether the stench will come out even then. My husband is severely disabled and uses crutches and a wheelchair. I am usually his sole caregiver and do the laundry myself. I broke my ankle 2 weeks ago and had surgery. I can barely stand up on crutches. I can not walk any distance at all. This facility is in Mesa AZ, not Charlotte.

I don't mind paying for services like house cleaning, lawn maintenance, etc, because the hours saved can be used for experiences, so I was excited to try this service on the hope that it would buy me valuable time in my day, but unfortunately my personal experience was that it ended up wasting more time than it saved, resulting in a total fail as this service was neither convenient nor time saving. I leveraged this service multiple times and on multiple occasions issues arose, whether it be a missed delivery date, even though the date was confirmed in writing and via the app, getting my clothes back with cleaning fluid stains or adding specific notes about needing stains on clothes to be treated and getting those clothes returned with the same stains on them, which in my opinion, tells me they completely ignored or didn't care about the notes they confirmed in writing prior to pickup, which aligns with my view that the customer service is mediocre at best and apathetic at worse. Whenever problems arose I would eventually hear back from customer service (with no sense of urgency on their part) and the dance would begin back and forth (wasting more of my time) before ultimately given a "credit" and then having to take more time to have the clothes re-serviced to fix the issue caused by their company in the first place. The whole point of my using this service was the hope of saving time, but in the end, I would have been better served in my opinion by going to any basic mid-level brick and mortar dry cleaner, even if it meant having to sit in traffic on 77 and 485, as the time spent sitting in traffic would still have been less than the time I wasted dealing with the multiple issues from this "service" that was neither convenient or time-saving in the end. Even after giving them multiple chances, I will cut my losses and go back to the mediocre hit or miss brick and mortar dry cleaning scene here in Charlotte, leaving my remaining credits to eventually fade away on the island of irrelevancy with all the other businesses that had a solid concept but poor service and execution in the end. The dryers are still $.25 but you're gonna need more money to dry large comforters. I spent two dollars and got 40 minutes. This past Saturday it was 91°, so there is no air conditioning. Only ceiling fans be prepared with your water or to sit in the car to cool off. I like the fact that there was no waiting. It wasn't very crowded, the parking was a little slanted, but you don't have much room to get in and out of the front. Overall pretty clean I used the vending machine to get bleach so materials are there nothing fancy no frills , but availability for what I need it. Everything was cleaned in a quick amount of time but the drive took a little longer. It's worth it.

Now you buy a card and load it will money and insert the card into the machine. The employee was very helpful and I'm sure she could tell I was struggling trying to figure out the new system. We didn't have to buy a card, rather, we used her card and then paid her directly. There are numerous machines! Another new advancement that I learned on this visit was that there are different machines that vary on how big your load is (e.g., 18 lb., 27lb., 35lb., 50lb.). The laundromat is spacious and clean! There are a couple of arcade games to keep you occupied and a tv playing CNN. The chairs, however, are not comfortable. I guess not everything has advanced. All in all it was a good experience!
