She would have to take my mom first then she would call up another worker to do my sister, then I would go last. But we took it anyway! I totally appreciated her willingness to accommodate us. When we got there, we found ourselves in a plaza surrounded by many other Asian establishments (we later learned we were in Chinatown!). It made me very happy to visit considering a girl from Hawai'i like me moving to Texas was a big culture shock. Being around Asians made me feel at home. We were greeted by Lois and she began right away! She had another worker come in later to do my sisters' facial (her name was Lily) and again we appreciated their kindness and care as they gave my sister a different facial more suited for her skin type. We opted for a $68/hour facial which ended up being the most peaceful and relaxing facial I've had. When it was my turn, I basically melted in my bed as Lois took care of me. There's no rushing you from station to station to get you out the door. My nails curve naturally and they take time to shape and protect them from breaking. My natural nails are super long and strong--people always ask if they're fake! The products they use don't leave dips in my nails and my nails are so protected that they survive at least a month of daily typing, furniture assembly, and playing with my energetic dog.
