So I made the appointment and after the treatment I was charged $80 $40 for facial and $40 for face polish telling me that the $20 face polish deal ended. I had to pay as I had already gotten the treatment done but this is a scam they are doing now. I had beautiful long hair the lady took almost a hour on a simple haircut I asked for bangs and she gave me the shortest bangs like the one when your kid gets gum stuck in their hair and my haircut was so bad and uneven I had to go elsewhere to have it fixed before that I did my eyebrows and upper lip and it wasn't done properly. Aisha's Salon @Wilcrest location: I get my eyebrows and upper lip down very often by Ms. Sazia. She is wonderful. She is my favorite. She is so adorable, caring, experienced, patient with clients. Today she just amazed me with her ability of hair highlighting. She did an amazing job to pick a suitable color for my skin tone, then hair cut, and styling. I was on a hunt to find a good hair salon to cut my hair.I decided to go to the wilcrest location of aisha salon and spa. It was the best decision that I made. The lady on the phone was very friendly when I booked my appointment(I forgot her name) but she is at the front. Shazia cut my hair and she was lovely! She greeted me very nicely and listened to what I wanted. I showed her a picture of the type of haircut I wanted and she followed exactly that! I've been to multiple Aisha's and usually frequent one of the Hillcroft locations. I wanted to see if there was an Aisha's that was easier to get to and less crowded. I really like this location. I walked in and was seated right away for eyebrow threading. Ami did a great job as I noticed even after weeks my eyebrows still looked great! I've been back three times to her. She is meticulous, knows how to make my eyebrows just right and very nice. I will be going to this Aisha's from now on forward. I've been going to this location for over 2 years now. I've gotten my eyebrows done by Sazia and Amy. Amy is the one who I go regularly with and She is amazing! She always listens to your eyebrow wants/needs. She has also done my little sister's eyebrows (ages 13 and 15) and does a very good job! She makes them look nice without making them to thin for them. I always try and make an appointment to avoid waiting times, and also because Amy is always pretty busy. I enjoy coming to this location and will continue to come here! Aisha's is really losing points with me. This is a new location that I tried one day on my lunch break because I was afraid my eyebrows would start to take over my face! Eyebrow threading is only $7, which is such a great deal. I was immediately seated at a station, but I waited about 10 minutes for someone to come over to start. The other employees kept shouting her name, but she took forever to come. When she came out, she didn't apologize for the wait. She started with my right eyebrow, and she did an ok job (I ALWAYS have to adjust it when I get home so I expect it now). She then did my left one and made it wayy too thin. What's worse is instead of telling me, she got an eyebrow pencil and filled it in. After she was done, she handed me the mirror for approval. I rubbed it, and noticed brown on my fingers. Then,, I rubbed more and saw the horrible job she did. She then told me it was too thin...well no ****! She said I would have to fill it in for a while and to use olive oil to grow it back. I really should do away with these people. Oh & it's so annoying that they ask you for a tip at the end. She didn't deserve a tip, but I felt pressured to leave one so I left her $3. read more

I'm that girl that'll ask you to redo something if I don't like it and wish you'd get an attitude about it lol. That being said, I did thorough research on finding an eyebrow threading place in Houston when I moved back. The lady I used to go to made my eyebrows too round, like mcdonalds arches so she got canceled quick. Aisha's is the nicest and biggest threading salon I've been to yet. I came on a Thursday at around 3 and left no later than 3:20. You can make an appointment or just walk in like I did although I'm not sure how busy they are on weekends. The lady who did my brows did a good job, I can tell she didn't want to take too much off or change the total shape of my brows by adding a high arch. I will say I wish she thinned out my brows just a little bit more but I'd rather her leave them thick than me be annoyed I have no brows left lol. I'd suggest you just be vocal and clear about what you want. $7 for eyebrow threading, $1 off as a check in yelp offer. I used to go to this location in my early threading years in high school because it was closer to my house, and Zohra was by far the best one there...even throughout college when I moved to the suburbs and the SL one was closer, I still went to that location because she was awesome. This place WAS great when Amy was threading eyebrows but she left on vacation and has not returned. I will not return either!! The lady who did my eyebrows today did a horrible job. I set on the chair and requested one thing " just clean them" which means to to leave my eyebrows the way they are and only take out the hairs around. But no she decided to shape them!! She did the first one and it looked ok. She did the second one and it too looked ok. BUT they were two different eyebrows! One was really arched and the other was completely round WTF?!? She insisted on fixing it, the problem with her fixing it was that she wanted to "fix" ( take out more hair) from the round already too thin eyebrow. I refused to let her do anything else PAID yes I paid!! And ask to talk to the manager. Total waste of time. She wanted me to let the same lady "try to fix it" no way!! This is my go-to place for eyebrow threading. I've been several times, and the ladies have done a great job. The wait varies each time I go, which is usually as a walk-in after work; sometimes I'm helped immediately and sometimes I wait 10-15 minutes. Either way, I don't mind waiting because I'm satisfied with the end result each time. As two cons, they are sometimes pushy and try to sell you other services, but I usually just listen, say I'll think about it, and go on my merry way. The lady who does your threading also stands next to you and watches you while you pay at the register, which makes me a little uneasy and comes across as wanting a tip. These aren't deal breakers for me though, so I'll continue coming back. read more

Can't say much about the service but the wait time is ridiculous. We understand weekends are busy but went in for just eyebrow threading and patiently waited 25 mins for anyone to do them. When we finally asked how much longer they said "not sure, everyone is really busy" Although i saw two different stylist eating and walking around. I would say make an appt but while i was there another young lady who had an appt was asked to come back in TWO hours. I don't know, but maybe get additional stylists to help with the threading? I got my hair washed, dried, and trimmed. It was $17 w/o tip. The cut was uneven. There were chunks of hair that were longer than the rest. I cut those off myself when I got home. I asked for 2-3 inches but she took off 4-5 inches. read more

I have been going to Wilcrest location just because it is a female-only salon. However, they treat people differently if you are not Americans or Indians you will receive 5 star-service. If not, you will get humiliated with you own money. They do not even greet ,smile or ask how you are while they hug someone who meets with their nationality standard. I found them pretty unprofessional. today, she threaded my eyebrows while she is on the phone. After one of my experience for eyebrows, one of the beautician said "now you look beautiful "???? Not very surprisingly I heard about Aisha's....the funny thing was that I ended up at this Saloon by mistake while I had read reviews about the other Aisha's which was opposite the road. Anyways, I was quickly taken in to for the service, Nusrat did a good job with the shaping of the eyebrows..and got my upper lips done...they had a deal going on so i got both the services for 5 bucks!! My husband wanted to get a haircut and turned out they did a great job at that too. I just might go back to this place again :). read more

I made an appointment for my sister and mom for December 31 for color and haircut. Upon the arrival the lady started putting excuses of how she couldn't do a certain type of cut. They stated they couldn't color the hair my sister wanted because it was going to take 5 hours and they had other appointments. Then what is the point of making an appointment if when you get there you are going to put every excuse in the book to not do the job. They also stated that they color hair better than Mexicans what does that have to do with anything. I deeply regret having to post a bad review about Aisha's but something must be said!! My first issue is... Ami is a"part time" employee since she's returned from having her babies... I can only make an appointment after 2:30 throughout the week, huge inconvenience but because I wouldn't allow anyone else to touch my brows... I comply to the time and make sure that my schedule matches hers! Second issue... I called and made an appointment for 2:45 this afternoon and when I arrived the receptionist failed to notify Ami of my arrival. Ami came out ten minutes after I arrived and saw me in the waiting area and had to ask if I had an appointment before the receptionist said anything!! To top it all off the station that she worked on was in the back of the salon (away from the other stylists) near the laundry room! This station had no hand sanitizer, no mirror, no powder, only a jar of aloe-vera gel, but none of the supplies that she needed!! I'm not sure why they're treating her like a step child, but I really don't like it!!! I came for face threading today, I am from out of town. Decided that reviews were good and there's many locations, I should stop by. There was no wait and i was placed with first available technician. She kept interrupting to take phone call or talk to other technician while threading me.Then the receptionist lady came by and told the technician (while she was threading me), that I had man hair on my face and that if I was doing something man like to my face. The technician told her that I could understand Hindi and she looked at me and walked away. I felt so embarrassed. When I went to pay, the receptionist said sorry. I made an appointment for a cut and color. I died my hair blond six months ago and it had faded and I wanted to go lighter. I walked in and two people started speaking Hindi about me and refused to do my hair because they didn't want to damage my hair. They said it was fresh dye.
