This was a really disappointing experience overall. First, the process to make a reservation, being threatened with a steep cancellation fee per person along with table time limits etc felt really over the top, especially since the Saturday brunch crowd was very sparse in reality. Second, the service. We waited forever to get greeted and receive waters, and I do mean almost 15 minutes. We never got water refills during the entirety of our meal. And lastly, the food. This one was an experience but not terrible but not good. This is a review where I want to list the pros and cons for you all to understand why I gave the rating I did. I'll start with the cons first and then list the pros. Cons 1) parking was very tight and hard to find. It took a minute to find a good parking spot 2) you were only able to get the rose bouquet if you payed 35$ and more , it was very hard to get to that price with the options on the menu and with the bouquet, you were only able to chose 1 rose and 2 pieces of greenery I don't think it was worth the price. 3) my friend got the salmon toast and she did not like it. She told the waitress who told the manager and my friend was only offered for them to cook the salmon more. They stated that they could not exchange the meal for something else ( I never had that experience at any restaurant that I went to where they didn't substitute a meal for something else.) 4) I ordered a coffee and it took forever to come out. Maybe like a total of 15- 20 mins for coffee for the coffee. 5) gratitude was already added even if you only had a party of 2 6) the food lacked salt / flavor which i don't prefer to season the food myself. Pros: 1) the place was aesthetically beautiful! I loved the pink theme for theme of Valentine's Day. 2) the manager was actually nice even thought she couldn't do more then cook the salmon extra for my friend. 3) I loved the flower option, I think it was a cute idea but I don't think we should spend 35$ (which doesn't include gratuity or taxes) 4) even thought they cancelled my reservation while I was in line waiting , the hostess was able to sit us down despite the cancellation. Overall. I personally not be back but if they resolve these issues it's definitely a reason to give them a try. This is such a cute cafe in Winter Park. I came here for the first time for a team holiday breakfast and we were all admiring the decor and the different spots to take photos. I think one of the best things was the latte art. it really made us smile to see what everyone got on their coffee. You know, it is the little things. I should have read the Yelp! reviews before going. They adjusted the tip up on us after we left the restaurant. I received a Square email when I arrived home. This is fundamentally dishonest. The way I see it, if a business would do this, then no telling what else they would try to pull off. It is a shame because I always liked the look of this place from the outside and the food was pretty good, but the service was not the best (long wait to order, had to ask for drink refills, requested hot sauce that was never delivered.) I tipped what I consider the minimum, 15%, but I guess someone didn't agree with that and decided to increase it after we left. If that isn't enough, the prices are high for what you get. We were looking for someplace new for brunch near Winter Park and found this gem. Limited indoor seating but a lovely outdoor patio with adorable photo ops throughout. Really enjoyed their specially designed cappuccino and latte printing. The food was solid... they're not reinventing anything but everything we ate was delicious and well prepared. I don't think we had this issue but I recommend taking a photo of your receipt to be safe! For food, I had the ham & cheese croissant ($16). This was our first visit, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience overall. The food was mediocre, and the service was very poor and unorganized from start to finish. Our table's food did not come out at the same time, so some people were eating while others were still waiting for their meals. I asked for lemonade three separate times before finally being told they didn't even have any available. The café con leche came unsweetened, and no one asked whether we wanted sugar. The entire atmosphere behind the counter seemed chaotic, and the employees appeared disorganized. I also ordered the salmon toast with cream cheese. It first came out without the cream cheese, and after they corrected it, the toast was so hard that I could barely cut or eat it. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations, and I hope they improve both their service and food quality. All of our deserts ( tres leche, trimasu & creme bre le were all thawed desserts nothing fresh didn't taste anything like the authentic version, they were just god-awful! Extremely Unpleasant and Unwelcoming Experience. We had a reservation scheduled for Valentine's Day at 9:45 a.m. Unfortunately, due to an accident on the highway, some members of our party were delayed. We promptly communicated this to the host staff and were informed that we would be seated once our full party arrived, which we completely understood and appreciated. Our entire party of five arrived by 10:00 a.m., at which time we were seated. However, we were immediately told, "Because you were late, you only have one hour to eat due to other reservations." After being seated, we were left without service for approximately 30 minutes. Our server did not approach the table until 10:32 a.m., at which point we placed our full order to avoid further delays. Mind you, we had already been reminded of the one-hour time limit It felt as though we were being punished rather than accommodated. Our drinks and food did not arrive until close to 11:00 a.m., leaving us very little time to actually enjoy our meal. At 11:23 a.m., we were told, "Okay, time is up. I told you guys because you were late, unfortunately you only had an hour." (I wish I was making this up) Throughout the meal, not once did the server check on our table to ask how we were doing or whether we needed anything. We didn't create a scene or cause disruption. We patiently waited for the check, which itself took an additional 10-15 minutes to arrive. We requested to-go boxes, paid our bill, and left. After leaving, the table we sat at was unattended and empty for about 20 minutes. If the goal was to make guests feel rushed, unwelcome, and inconvenient, that objective was certainly achieved. We understand being busy; what's harder to understand is being reminded repeatedly of a time limit while simultaneously being left waiting. This isn't a place that cares about customer service. There are plenty of restaurants that manage full reservations without sacrificing basic courtesy and attentiveness. We'll happily support one of them next Valentine's Day, and every day after that. read more

When the server came and asked how my food was, I said "fine." He made a face that expressed surprise and disappointment , but he didn't ask what he could do to make it right. My friend sent back her potatoes and what they brought out was no better, and then they refused to deduct anything from her check. The ambience is cute, but the quality is lacking. Every item in the decor was cheap quality. Plastic greenery covered one wall. PLASTIC. The theme is cute, but does not warrant the hype or the prices associated with this place. I made a reservation for 2:15 and arrived at 2PM to check in. As I waited, multiple parties for reservations for 2:15 also began arriving. They sat two parties who arrived after I did. I waited until 2:25 before I went back to the hostess stand. The host proceeded to yell at all the waiting guests about being back up and it being so busy. The outburst completed dampened the mood and vibe for a Valentine's Day celebration. I continued to wait And was seated at 2:32. From there I sat and waited until 2:46 before a server approached our table for orders. I decided to provide some real time feedback and leave. So let me say this, if you decide to go here PAY WITH CASH!!! If you see previous reviews, they are known to charge a different amount then what you signed your receipt, I did an "other" tip and they decided to charge me the minimum option provided of 20%. My rating is truly for this, when I called the restaurant the manager refunded me the difference but when I told her they have a bad rep on doing this and I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt she went on to argue back with me and said she didn't have time to listen to me. If I was rating this on the Food, I would give it a 3.5... the fries and french toast premium were phenomenal... the steak panini was way too salty and had a grainy taste to it and the iced chai tea was I don't even know what it was, had no flavor at all. If the rating was on the decor, I would give it a 3, although it's super cute the seats to the table height are not compatible, for us short girls it's just awkward. We visited 240 rose on a Sunday morning around 9:30am. We were promptly seated in their screened in patio, which is pleasantly warm. The decorations around were cute, and the setup overall is nice, but we didn't love that we had to go outside to get to the bathroom. Our waitress came to our table while one person was in the bathroom. When she realized that, she said she'd come back later. Once we were all back, she came to our table and said, "you were in the bathroom" in a way that felt . . . Almost like we were inconveniencing her? We placed our food orders, and the food came out pretty quickly, but I definitely felt a little rushed. It also took a couple tries for her to figure out what we were ordering. I got a steak and cheese omelette, which was sufficiently cheesy, but under seasoned. I also ordered home fries which were completely unseasoned, which was disappointing. My friend ordered an omelette with hash browns, and the hash browns were nearly burnt. I would've put money on them being previously frozen. Another person in my party got the corn beef hash Benedict which they felt wasn't super hash-like, but they felt the potato casserole was perhaps the bast thing on the menu. The last person in our party got biscuits and gravy, she said the biscuits were dry and there wasn't enough gravy. Overall, I was leaning 3 stars for this review, but then I got our checks, and I honestly feel like for what we paid, we should've gotten better service and better food. The food lasted good, but took forever to come out. Also- 20% gratuity was included, but unfortunately not what we felt comfortable in tipping after the meal. It's also very hot inside. UPDATE: As others have said I have fallen victim to their charge tip scheme. I found out about this from a friend after I left. They messaged me saying to watch out that they are charging extra tips on the bill. I screenshot my Amex charge right away. The food is incredible and worth a good review. The service on the other hand... is not the greatest. After we were sat, we were waiting for about 20 minutes to get a glimpse from any waiter. What actually bothered me is that in those 20 minutes, waiters walked back and forth cleaning tables around us, delivering food or drinks, but no one cared to ask if we had been taken care of until I took the initiative to ask for service. In addition to that, the servers had a mouth on them. One of the servers accidentally dropped their toast tablet and along with that, an F bomb. This place is UHMAZING! Their latte's are the best and they have a different design every time. I had a latte with no foam and with vanilla syrup. The latte was made to order, great flavor and not bitter which means that they use good quality coffee. I had the Denver omelette with wheat bread and with home fries. Everything was delicious and with great flavor. So much that I did not have to add any salt or pepper and/or any additional condiments. They have locally made pastries and they looked very delicious. I need to comeback for them. Martina was great, very friendly and very attentive. The service overall was great all the staff works together to provide an excellent experience and they kept my water filled. (I drink a lot of water). The restaurant is small and if you plan to visit make sure that you come in early or you may have to wait. The decor is simple and contemporary. UPDATE: The bill was 52.62. I very specifically left a cash tip and wrote cash on the tip line on the bill. I checked my credit card statement and they charged my cash tip on top of my credit card amount. I'm leaving my little bit on the bottom of my review about the surprise charge, but guess what? Came here with a friend and right off the bat this place is aesthetically so cute! There is a small parking lot in the back which is always a plus especially in this part of town. When you walk in, there is very limited seating inside. There is outdoor seating with a beautiful selfie wall that is perfect for photo ops. We went on a Friday morning and it wasn't busy so we sat outside because the weather was perfect for it. I was very impressed with the portions of the food options and the food tasted great. It wasn't any better or worse than other breakfast spots around town. The eggs benedict was cooked as it should and the hollandaise was great. We had some seasonal lattes and the coffee presentation was great. The coffee wasn't too bitter or too sweet. My biggest conflict with this cafe is that while I do think that the food options were generous and the price reflected that, the coffee seemed overpriced mainly for the amount you were getting. As a person that visits A LOT of local coffee shops, this was a bummer, because the coffee itself is good.
