Beautiful outside area and the weather was perfect to sit outside. My pistachio cappuccino came out nice and hot and not too sweet. Enjoyed it a lot. Had the egg whites and grits - my eggs were ok and my grits were a tad disappointing- somewhat watery so I didn't eat them sadly. The fresh OJ was delicious. O tried some of my husband's sausage and really enjoyed it. I would probably give it another try and just pick something else.

This is a great little breakfast & lunch cafe. Staff is friendly serving delicious eats. Lots of interesting twists to traditional breakfast items. You've got to check out this hidden gem in the heart of Avalon Park.

I had a delicious breakfast here after landing at MCO! To start, complimentary sweet dough croquettes were brought to the table. They were warm and fresh and had great flavor. After looking over the menu, I decided on the bagel ink sandwich. The NYer in me was saying no as bagels aren't good anywhere other than NY...but I was intrigued! Think a BEC....but PRESSED. It was so good! Did it taste like a NY bagel? No. But it was tasty. Everything went together so well. The bacon, the cheese, and the egg..so good! It is their signature item here and I can see why! It came with a side of breakfast potatoes that were yummy as well. Service was wonderful!

Nuno's cafe was highly recommended to me from a fellow food lover and I just had to see for myself. I'm so glad we went! The food, the service, the location, the mimosas.... 10/10. I'm already dreaming of the next time I'll get to have an omelette again. I love that it's in such a perfect spot that we decided to sit outside and just enjoy the weather and the views of the lake right across the street.

Second time having brunch at Nuno's! Busy spot in Avalon Park. We enjoy sitting outside. Great staff, mimosas and pancakes. I had the banana pancakes.

Avalon Park's best brunch is at Nuno's Cafe. Located in downtown Avalon, this cafe is a small storefront with inside and outside seating. I was greeted by Natalia and it wasn't long until we were seated outside on a beautiful, cool morning. Our server was Ashley, she was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were given some warm croquettes for the table as she read us the specials. I ordered a dry mimosa to start (you can choose between dry or sweet) and it is served in a cute little champagne flute. Usually I get the ever popular bagelini, but to switch it up I chose one of the specials which was a bacon, egg and cheese croissant served with their home fries. Soon the food was flowing while Frank Sinatra was playing in the background My croissant was just so light and fluffy accompanied by crispy bacon and melty cheese on a fresh egg this sandwich was absolutely perfect!! We brought our friends here and they had great meals. The bagelini did not disappoint and the eggs benedict was perfect. Please note that since egg prices have soared, they are adding a surcharge for any dish with egg. There is a sign on the door that indicates this so please factor this in when reviewing your bill. This place is worth the wait for brunch and the staff is ever so delightful. I am a huge fan and will be back soon!

It's not that easy to find as I didn't see a sign on the storefront except for a chalkboard outside. Perhaps they are getting a new sign? The place is very clean with neutral tones but smaller than I was expecting. There are a few small tables and then the large counter with all the goodies at the back. And there are a lot of goodies to choose from! Besides the cube shaped croissants, and one wheel croissant, there are also oblong croissants in many flavors like strawberry, pistachio, chocolate, hazelnut and more. There are also desserts in the cold case to the right and some savory items like garlic cream and hot dogs in croissant to the left. Since we were here during brunch time, I got a savory item - a garlic, cheese and ham bun - as well as a pistachio cube. My friend got the pepperoni pizza croissant. While there are lots of coffee drinks and milk teas/boba teas on the menu, I asked if they had hot tea. They said they do not, which I think is a miss. Maybe they will add that soon? Instead, I got a Mango Green Tea and my friend got a Strawberry Green Tea. Let me tell you, everything was so good! I had my garlic bun first and it was great. Then I had the pistachio cube and it was filled with a light pistachio whipped cream - delish! I'd love to come back and try their other items.

The candied pecans gave it a contrasting sugared crunch making it really addicting to eat, and the candied oranges rounded out the flavors. I hope they'll keep bringing this cookie back!

I personally prefer a softer, fluffy cake with a noticeable cocoa flavor and a tangy cream cheese frosting. Gideon's version was very different from that. The color was much more intensely red than I personally like, and I felt like I could taste the coloring. The texture of my slice also felt more wet/dense than moist and fluffy. There was plenty of frosting, but the cream cheese flavor was much more subtle than I prefer. I know this cake has a lot of fans, so I think this really comes down to style and personal preference.
