    Iced MOCHA
    Erica E.

I have worked in downtown for over 4 years now, and it's sad to say I've never been here. I have been missing out! I ordered the breakfast sandwich and it was delish! I also got an iced mocha with was also amazing. The staff was beyond nice and had great energy. They had some tables outside, which is where I sat but they also had a little inside area with ac if that's more your scene. Definitely coming back!

The best part of I Love Orlando Cafe is that it is just across the street from Lake Eola Park. We all know the oft used phrase of "location, location, location." Our server was friendly enough and the food was typical for a cafe or a diner in this area. I will give it four stars overall.

The croissant was amazing! I usually don't like prosciutto but the combo of the prosciutto and arugula was perfect. The strawberry matcha was okay. It didn't have the authentic matcha taste but it was refreshing. I do enjoy coming here. The location is good. Staff is friendly.

    PROSCIUTTO & MOZZARELLA CROISSANT

This is the most whimsical atmosphere I absolutely love it. The music and decor are fairytale esque; definitely lots of cute photo opps. Our server, Bugg, was so helpful with her recommendations and was super sweet and friendly, too!! The prosciutto croissant sandwich was refreshing and delicious. The lox bagel had the perfect ratio of salmon to cream cheese. Also, the presentation of everything was gorgeous.

Was walking around Lake Eola and got hungry so we stopped by the nearest eatery we could find. The cafe is cute and inviting. The place is small, so I could imagine how busy it must get during busy hours. The server was very sweet and friendly. Service was quick for us. We ordered the mango matcha which my daughter fell in love with. The avocado toast was also delicious and the portion was good.

Service was great, location is perfect, food was okay , coffee was delicious. Ambiance was super comfortable and nice. The seating area is small so it can get packed very quickly.

This is a nice little lunch spot right next to Lake Eola. If you're in the area, it's a cute café where you can grab a bite to eat. I recommend trying the 407 bowl; the chicken was very moist, and I added salmon, which was perfect. However, the rice was a bit dry, and I wish there had been a larger portion. After your meal, if it's a really hot day, I definitely recommend the passion fruit smoothie! Also my server Malania was very helpful and made sure everything was okay.

I love Orlando Cafe is a great downtown cafe with a view of Lake Eola. The cafe was very pretty and picture worthy. We went on a Friday morning so it was not crowded so we received friendly fast service. Outside seating is great if you want to look out to the lake. Food was great for breakfast sandwiches. We both got hot chocolate and it was so good!

    MATCHA LEMON

Cute cafe in a great location! Pizza was great and the matcha lemonade was refreshing! The service was fast, and the servers were all very nice.

    Crispy chicken sandwhich

Stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. They unfortunately didn't have any chicken available which was pretty much half the available options - but as we were leaving the server mentioned the fried chicken was now available. We ordered the fried chicken sandwhich, and it was just okay. The fries were underdone, and the bun wasn't toasted. Wasn't awful but wasn't my favorite thing ever. We previously have stopped in for the sangria pitcher, which was good. I would probably recommend this place for breakfast based off of the food options available, or maybe a quick stop for a drink or a mimosa on the weekends.

This was such a nice experience, the food was great, server was kind and attentive, and has a great view of lake eola. The virgin mojito was incredible, they're usually a hit or miss but nothing missed here.

Ham and Cheese Croissant, without egg even though we ordered it with egg

Came here looking for a quick breakfast sandwich after a quick walk around Lake Eola. We walked up and there was no one to greet us, they only have a touch screen to virtually order, or you can scan a QR code posted on the weird window and order on your phone. After we ordered, someone who works there told us there were no seats available and we could sit at the "bar". There was no bar, it was just a counter facing weird windows with bad clip art. Once seated at the "bar" we found menus, and apparently there is a wait staff, but the people at the table seated behind us hadn't been helped by the wait staff after they had been sitting there for 20 minutes, so I guess it's a good thing we ordered on the touch screen. We ordered the mango Matcha, and the ham and cheese croissant with egg. It took 32 minutes for the mango Matcha to come out. I would not recommend the mango Matcha, the mango tasted so artificial and way too sweet. Another 10 minutes later (so 42 minutes total after we placed our order on the machine) and the croissant came out. Even though we ordered it with egg, there was no egg. When we tried to find someone that worked there to let them know about the missing egg, There was no one in sight. At that point, after how long the wait was for the food initially and how lacking the service was, we just decided to cut our losses and leave. It wasn't worth it. Its really sad, because this is an amazing location, and the prior owner was so awesome and thoughtful. It used to be a great place to hang, but I would recommend ANY of the other small businesses around the lake before I would recommend this place.

Everything was great, pet friendly and service was great. Nicole was very friendly and very attentive. Love coming to this coffee shop every time we are in town.

SERVICE: Our server, Caroline, was amazing--so warm, welcoming, approachable, helpful, and accommodating. She really made the meal special. THE FOOD: The chicken fried steak was absolutely amazing, and the brown sugar banana pancake was fantastic. The biscuits were huge, fluffy, and packed with flavor, and both the gravy and mashed potatoes were incredibly flavorful. The oversized chorizo burrito was also excellent. THE DRINKS: The only negative was the pistachio coffee, which tasted a bit too artificial. We can't wait to go back home and visit our closest location!

It was really loud and there wasn't many soft surfaces to help absorb that sound. The location did appear to be clean. Now let's get to the food. I ordered the fried chicken benedict. Huge sprig of rosemary. Cayenne pepper (if it wasnt cayenne then idk what it was but thats what it tasted like) . Hollandaise was like glue. Maybe it was supposed to be gravy? Batter didnt stay on the chicken. Scrambled eggs in the chicken batter with a slice of cheese. Deep fried raw spaghetti noodles (why???). 2 pieces of bacon. Tomatoes. A pile of uncooked spinach. Frozen biscuit (if it wasnt frozen, you need a new biscuit maker). Mashed potatoes from a bag. Orange slice. Cantaloupe slice. This was a terrible version. Stop. Leave the stupid rosemary off your dishes. It looks stupid and not everyone likes rosemary. I dont recommend this place. Go to Dennys or Waffle House.

It was bagged nicely and well organized. The omelette was a generous sized portion with plenty of tender chicken, peppers, and cheese. There was salsa to add a bit of flavor, but it tasted that it was made in New York City (if you remember that commercial ;) ). The white toast was soft and buttery, and the potatoes were good. My mom enjoyed the banana pecan waffles, and I took a couple bites as well. It was sinfully sweet and enjoyable, especially the bananas. And I must say the coffee was so good, it was even better than the Juan Valdez coffee that I make at home. Since I didn't visit the restaurant, I can't comment on the atmosphere. But I believe the service is excellent because they nicely packed all items and kept it organized. I definitely need to take my family to this restaurant. Since the one in Metrowest closed, this is the closest one to us. I am glad the food is still excellent and the coffee keeps you peppy. I've come here for my birthday. I already have plans for a visit when my family gets here in two weeks. Obviously, the food is phenomenal. I usually get Art's Famous Fried Chicken, which they say is Buttermilk-brined for 24 hours then and then flash fried. I have a severe shellfish allergy, and they're always very cautious. No matter who the server or floor manager is. Typically, it's served with creamy mashed potatoes, but I usually swap it out with Momma's Mac and Cheese. I've also had the Smothered Chicken, Bee Haven Fried Green Tomatoes, and the Skilled-fried Chicken Paillard, which is what most of the staff recommends as their favorite dish. And you always have to get a cheddar drop biscuit. That's a non-negotiable. This restaurant is very popular and often gets quite busy, so I recommend to make a reservation as soon as you're ready. But the busyness of the restaurant won't matter once you take a bite. The food is the ambiance and changes everything. Just trust me.
