We used them during our home renovation in October 2021 to install 2 garage doors along with the associated equipment. Along with the installation package, we were assigned a 5 year parts & labor warranty. A few days ago, one of the garage doors and tracking method failed. 24H Garage Doors LLC is refusing to honor the warranty, although it is only the 23rd month of a 5 year parts & labor warranty. They do not stand behind their work, and the technician that arrived to inspect the damage offhandedly said they didn't install it correctly in the first place. They were also extremely rude and disrespectful to both me and my spouse during the process of putting in a warranty claim, which they have yet to honor. I would halfway recommend them if they stood behind their work. But they do not honor their warranties, a poor business practice and a violation of the state laws of Connecticut. They also will give discounts on invoices in order for people to write 5-star reviews, so the good reviews you see online may not accurately reflect the company. read more

I used 24H Garage Doors to get a quote on a problem when I was buying a house. The quote was used in the closing process to reduce the price of the house, so I expected it to be honored. When I called and scheduled the appointment, all seemed to be well: I paid the quoted price of $350 in advance. But then the technicians came (three hours late, but that's another story), and I was told I *actually* needed to pay $595, 70% more than I was initially quoted. Trying to get an answer for why the quoted price and the actual price were so different was like talking to a wall. Everyone was very nice on the phone, but nobody was interested in fixing the underlying issue of the $245. The real kicker is that my card was charged twice--for the $350 AND the $595, and it took four days to get that issue resolved. The guys at 24H were trying really hard to be helpful, and some of these mistakes weren't their fault. I get that. But $245 is a lot of money, and the fact that nobody seemed interested in helping me with that was really frustrating. After all the problems I experienced, you would think a discount would be in order, anyway. read more

I wouldn't recommend this company whatsoever. Their advertising 24hr and emergency call. Our spring snapped (twice in 6months) guy said someone will call you on Monday to schedule. So we had another company come out. They quickly replaced the spring and advised us that whomever installed our springs (24hr door) obviously didn't had us for 2k. As the spring they installed twice, were not the correct ones. Now that we called and advised them of the issue and that they had to make irkt right, we have yet to hear from them. Do yourself a favor, call someone other than these guys. They are hacks. read more

One of the cables on my garage snapped around noon today..I described my situation and sent a couple pics to 24 H Garage Doors and asked for a quote. They responded almost immediately. Josh asked me to call him so we could discuss. We spoke and he was extremely personable, upbeat and very polite! He gave me a very reasonable quote and dispatched a technician by the name of Chris. Josh sent me a text message with Chris's phone number so that I would know it was actually Chris calling me later through caller ID. Chris called me from the road and told me he was on his way..he was also cheerful and very polite. Chris arrived on time and really surprised me with his people skills. There was a lot involved with this repair but he made it look easy. It was obvious he had lots of experience. He completed the job quickly and now when my garage closes, it's 50 percent quieter the before. This was the best experience I've ever had with any company, ever! We had an issue with a spring breaking called for assistance and they came the next day. Gave us a window of 4-7 and were here at 4:15! Barry was great, so helpful and honest. Gave us a quote for exactly what we needed and didn't try to push us beyond that which is so rare! We did end up needing something for the second garage door so he did that as well, but at our request no pushy salesman. I am so thankful for how helpful and polite he was(even when our dog barked at him a lot). And he even helped fix the keypad which for him was simple, but had stumped me for months!
