Dave came out and openly admitted mistakes from his team members, and told us they would be corrected. This issue has persisted over the last few years (same issues reoccurring each season) and Dave is not returning messages. Disappointed in the responsiveness and stance behind their work. The land they had to work with was covered with roots and other obstacles (as well as snow) but they got it done in a timely fashion and the fence looks great and is solidly constructed. I also felt that the price was quite reasonable. I couldn't be more pleased with their work.

I showed the company representative some concerns I had with the job and this is where things went downhill. My concerns were that the fence work did not match an existing fence and several posts were not aligned properly. The company representative not only stated he disagreed with me but he stated he had no intention to redo any of their work as I requested. He proceeded to call me a "liar", and said I was "blind". When I asked him to leave my property and proceeded to walk away the company representative in a threatening tone told me "not to turn my back on him". He then stated "he did not have to leave my property because he had an open contract with me and the work was not complete, and he could come and go as he pleases until the work is done". In conclusion the work was unsatisfactory and the company management is not someone I would recommend based on the above.

Charlie was super honest about it and communicative about where he was in the process. So sure, getting to the install day was a drag - but it also wasn't his fault. Still, he was open and honest. Once our big day arrived? Something close to heaven. Not only because we finally had our long-awaited fence, but also....the work was fantastic. We also loved the fact that he didn't pawn it off on his crew sight unseen - he supervised and managed them. He's a total pro. Fact is, if you want a great fence and you want it done right AND you want it at a great price - R&R Fence is who you want.

We hired Victorian Fence to install a new fence, and unfortunately, our experience has been…read moreextremely disappointing. First, I want to say that the workers themselves were hardworking. My frustration is not with them, it's with how the company managed the project. They started the installation on May 19 with only two workers, even though it was clear that two people could not complete an entire backyard in one day. Two additional workers didn't arrive until around 4:00 PM. The most important part of the installation, the gates, wasn't installed until around 8:00 PM, when it was completely dark outside. I don't understand how anyone could properly install gates under those conditions. Unfortunately, the rushed installation has led to ongoing problems. One of our gates was installed incorrectly and now will not shut or latch unless someone pushes it from the back every single time. As of today, July 14, it barely shuts at all. The metal hardware has become damaged, and because the gate is misaligned, the latch repeatedly strikes the white vinyl fence, causing damage to the fence itself. The gate posts also move far more than they should whenever the gate is opened or closed. The lack of follow-through has been even more frustrating than the installation itself. On May 21, just two days after the installation, Joe came to inspect the fence. He acknowledged there were multiple issues, made notes of everything that needed to be corrected, and left with the understanding that the repairs would be scheduled. We never heard back. On June 1, I contacted Joe again because one of the gates had stopped shutting properly and I was concerned about how much the gate posts were moving. I received no response. After following up again on June 9, Joe returned on June 11 for a second inspection. Once again, he reviewed the issues, said everything would be taken care of, and told me he would send me a follow-up email. That email never came, and no repairs were ever scheduled. It is now July 14. Despite multiple phone calls, text messages, two site visits, and repeated promises that the issues would be fixed, nothing has been done. There are still chunks of concrete and construction debris left in my backyard from the installation, and we're left with a gate that no longer functions properly. For a company that prides itself on its reputation and quality of work, this level of workmanship, communication, and customer service is incredibly disappointing. We paid in full expecting a professionally completed project, not months of unanswered follow-ups and unresolved issues. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Victorian Fence.

On Saturday, I called mid afternoon, and my driveway was clear before dinner. The best time was once a couple of years ago - they were there just 30 minutes after I called. It really depends on where they are when you call. The longest wait was during a blizzard last year, but it wasn't like I was going anywhere anyway. The best part is that you don't have to pay for a plow of 3 inches like you do with a contact. I think they will also do emergency service as well, if you need them to plow immediately (for an extra cost). I recommend 3D for plowing certainly, but they also do other stuff as well. Good guys to deal with.
