    Drunken noodles with grasshopper..

Grasshopper in my drunken noodles. First and last time eating here. They said they couldn't refund me because the order was place on their website... doesn't make sense.

I visited for weekday lunch with a work colleague. The dining room was not busy and we were seated immediately. The outdoor patio was attractive and most tables had umbrellas/shades but we chose indoors. Inside was just a little dark, relieved by small lamps at each table. The menu is physically large (because of the bulky folder) but there are a reasonable number of choices over two pages. For this meal we opted for sushi, listed on a separate two-page menu. The edamame appetizer came out quickly. It's a simple dish, large enough to share, and could have been shared by 3-4 easily. The pods were warm and dusted with salt. The salt could have been more evenly distributed instead of piled in the middle. My sushi was the Tsunami roll. I wasn't sure about the spiciness or the jalapenos but I took a chance. The roll was served with a pretty display of carrot ribbon, sliced radish, ginger, and wasabi. The sushi itself was fine, with strips of raw salmon on the rice and yellowtail inside. The jalapeno slices were placed on top of each piece of salmon with a dot of 26 Spicy Sauce so it looked a little like googly eyes staring up from the plate. I could definitely taste the spice but it was not too intense for my normally bland midwestern palate. There is a Thai menu I'd like to try on my next visit, and the weekday lunch special includes a discount on a side/appetizer. There is also a cocktail and libation menu that I only glanced at during this visit. Service was quick and attentive. The staff we interacted with were knowledgeable and friendly. Our water glasses were refilled once. Prices were mostly around $20 per dish with a few more expensive items.

Great food. We get take out a lot from here. Sat down at the other location once and the service was great.

From the ambiance, to the food, and service this place is an absolute knockout. My friends and I started off with a couple of sushi rolls like the 26 crunch. They we got a sample platter that consisted of wings, Thai dumplings, calamari, and spring rolls. I got chicken pad see ew for my entree and my friend got the basil fried rice. I finished my meal off with the mango sticky rice. Everything was delicious and I can't wait to come back

It's been a while since we've been here but happy to see this restaurant still open at this location. The food is always great per usual. I got the Spider roll and my husband got the Panang chicken curry. Service good have been better. The restaurant wasn't busy & my husband ordered a coke which he ended up having to go to the bar to get himself because the waiter kept forgetting to bring it even after we reminded him when he brought my water to the table. The waiter did apologize for getting & overall we had a great dinner.

The meal was mediocre, but I enjoyed the ambience. We ordered drunken noodles, chicken satay, and pad thai. Both of the noodle dishes were subpar, with the exception of the chicken satay. For whatever reason, the pad thai tasted bitter and lacked flavor. However, the service was attentive and timely.

Came in for lunch While we were unaware that it's best to make a reservation they were still able to seat us at the sushi bar . We ordered the coconut soup which was divine . And the small plates of Calamari-Thai Samosa-Signature Wings and Basil Rolls . Great service & staff , wonderful meal. Love the ambience and decore . Great place to come for lunch/ dinner . Parking can at times be a bit difficult depending on the day and time but if you're patient you'll find one with in walking distance.

Good Thai food and good service. Nice cocktail menu as well. This location is the only 26Thai that also offers sushi. Only thing is it's a little pricey so be ready to spend money if you're wanting to eat good

10/10 Literally a hidden gem! This place is SO cute and they have so many options. I'm honestly super surprised this place wasn't as busy as they were. The Lychee Martini pairs perfectly with the sushi. Dean our bartender was wonderful and super warm, he gave us a little history on the company and how long they've been here and other locations. The sampler was 10/10 and for $41 you really can't beat it. Now the black and white sushi wasn't my favorite, for my taste it was too cream cheesy but I should've chosen that. This place is cute either for a date night, a girls catch up, or just a solo date. I'll 100% be back

26 Thai is a great go to in Brookhaven! It has a cute aesthetic and vibe! The service is good not exceptional but always have a good experience. I would suggest the coconut soup and the chicken so flavorful, seaweed salad was great, and the basil chicken was good but I might suggest asking them for peanut sauce on the side to take it to the next level. We had a sushi roll that has their crab roll inside and it was tasty (I might not reorder that though)

I had a good experience at 26 Thai Sushi and Bar. I've ordered from their other locations before but never dined in. This location is in Brookhaven town Center near Costco. The restaurant is decently sized with patio seating outside and some more tables inside. Service was prompt and our server was very kind. We ordered a bunch of apps, sushi rolls and drinks (including juices for the kids). The food came out as it was ready (quickly) and we dove in. I enjoyed all the apps - crab Rangoon, Thai samosas, ceviche, shrimp dumplings and the Roti Masamman. I don't remember all the sushi we got but it was all tasty and fresh! Can't wait to go back again.

    Huge portion lol

First time trying this location, and they have sushi! Sushi however paled in comparison with the Thai flavors. We got the: hamachi cappacio 3/5 I usually like this dish, but the fish was too thick and was a tad cold. The 26 crunch 1/5: the roll itself doesn't have much flavor at all. Deep fried also. Basil chicken: 5/5 HUGE portion compared to the midtown location, amazing; Pad see ew: 5/5 was very flavorful and saucy soft. The ambiance could be a bit loud in one open dining room. Service is decent as she refills our waters without having to ask.

Ambiance, food and service was top tier! I had the house fried rice with chicken and it was absolutely amazing!

The decor, especially the service, is very on point. All the servers were friendly and attentive. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with Thai cultural artifacts, and there's also a backdrop of umbrellas at the entrance that makes for a nice photo spot. The food, however, was a bit hit-or-miss for me. Most of the dishes were a little too heavily seasoned, too sweet, or too salty for my taste. My boyfriend enjoyed the food more than I did. My palate tends to lean toward lighter flavors. The food was good overall. Nothing to complain about, but nothing really stood out as amazing either. We had: - Strawberry Creamy Mocktail: a bit too syrupy for me. - Black Mussels: the mussels were a little dry and didn't taste very fresh. The dish was also too salty for my taste. - Fried Gyoza - Satay Chicken - Tiger Prawns & Scallops - Roti Bread: we ordered this as a side without curry. - Mango Sticky Rice for dessert. Overall, it's a nice place with really good service and beautiful decor. Although the food didn't quite work for my palate, it will probably suit people who enjoy stronger and more heavily seasoned flavors. I would still recommend giving it a try, especially for the atmosphere and excellent service.

Four days later, Tuk Tuk closed its doors for good. What an unexpected and bittersweet discovery. And I'm so glad I got to experience it. From the moment you walked into the downstairs foyer and saw the tuk-tuk, you knew this wasn't going to be an ordinary Thai restaurant. Take the stairs or elevator to the second-floor dining room and suddenly you're transported. The space was stylish, warm and beautifully done, with wonderful details throughout. We started with an ice-cold Paper Plane cocktail, perfectly made and a lovely beginning to dinner. My girlfriend and I shared the seafood garlic noodles, loaded with seafood and deeply savory. Delicious. Then we spotted the whole fish special on the chalkboard and couldn't resist. The whole fish arrived dramatically presented over garlic rice with a fresh papaya salad. It was enormous -- far more than the two of us could finish -- beautifully prepared and absolutely worth ordering. And because I will always find room for dessert, I finished with mango sticky rice. No regrets. It delivered exactly what I wanted after a Thai feast. I love Thai food. I seek it out when I travel, and meals like this are exactly why. Great Thai cooking can hit sweet, salty, sour, spicy and savory notes seemingly all at once, yet somehow remain beautifully balanced. Learning only a week later that Tuk Tuk had closed genuinely made me sad. I feel incredibly fortunate that I happened to walk through those doors one last time without knowing just how fleeting the opportunity was. After 16 years, that's quite a legacy -- and I'm grateful I got one final taste of it. Life is too short not to eat well or travel well. Get out there and find your next meal on your journey -- because sometimes the places you think will always be there simply won't be.
