My friends and I dined here since it's been a minute. The ambiance was elegant. Definitely a good date night vibe. Our waiter was informative and attentive. We glanced over the menu and quickly decided what we wanted to eat. The food was amazing. We laughed the entire time over great food and atmosphere. The night ended well.

What more needs to be said? If you want to have a birthday dinner, wow your parents or a date, quick lunch, or just a solo date 26 Thai kitchen has some of my favorite flavors. They have great service a a delightful menu. I've been to multiple locations and the quality is consistent everywhere. P.S. You can never go wrong with the Salmon & Shrimp entree!

Soup so small. Smaller than pint. 10 bucks. Wow.

Wow. This place is soooooo overpriced. I mean 10 bucks for coconut soup and it's smaller than a pint (see pics). What a rip off.

My family and I went there for my bday. It's a two story home that's been converted into a restaurant. Weather was good we sat outside. Service was excellent. Our server , Astrid, from I think Vietnam, was awesome! She was funny, attentive, and had really nice conversation. My cousins food came out spicy which she had indicated that she didn't order. She planned to just take the food home. Astrid totold the manager and the manager gave her the dish to my cousin's liking without charge. I didn't get her name unfortunately. Inside was full and appeared very cozy. The food was amazing!!!! Seasoned just right with the right texture. The presentation made the food more appealing. I'm definitely going back this month.

We were craving Thai food and this place came up with several locations all with high ratings across the city. What I found unique and why I chose this place was because of the cute story they posted on their website. Also each location specializes on a different part of the menu and the location we picked specializes in curries! This was perfect because when I saw Khao Soi on the menu I immediately knew that is what I would be eating. Onto the food! We started with the Tom Yum soup and the Fresh Basil Rolls. Omg these both blew me away. Truly think it was the best Tom Yum soup I've ever had. You could really taste the lemongrass and the perfect balance of flavors and we were fighting over the last bite. Just wow. The Fresh Basil rolls were also so so delicious and chewy and fresh. Both appetizers were very fresh and aromatic and were the perfect start to the meal. For the entrees, we ordered the Khao Soi (of course) and the Basil Fried Rice. The Khao Soi was exceptionally good as it was creamy and flavorful and just changed my life honestly. The Basil Fried Rice was also fairly good but honestly just standard. It met my expectations but it was nothing life changing as the other 3 things we ordered were. I tried to limit myself because I wanted everything but we had more than enough leftover. Also I want to shoutout our waitress who was so so sweet and took the time to explain everything and check in on us regularly. The exceptional service was part of our great experience. This is definitely a place I will be returning to when I'm back in Atlanta because I feel incomplete knowing I haven't tried most of the menu. Definitely couldn't recommend this place enough.

I'm not the biggest expert on Thai food, but this spot might be my new current favorite. Great ambiance here with the beautiful, center flower piece and the general wall art. We started off sharing a 4 small plate platter and the wings were so tasty and crunchy. Calamari was ok, but I was a huge fan of the panang curry for the roti bread. The main entree I tasted were the drunken noodles (beef) and I do wish it was like one level spicier. Still very flavorful and I would order them again. Definitely recommend this place if you are in the mood for Thai food. They unfortunately do not validate your parking from the nearby garage.

Such a cute area and a perfect date night spot. The service is impeccable. Cathy was our waitress and she was lovely, very attentive the entire time. 8pm on a Friday, not busy at all. To start my husband and I both got drinks. I had a strawberry cocktail with creamy coconut milk that was absolutely perfect. Hubby got the peach cocktail special and that was great too. For dinner I had the Khao Soi, it's a large portion and so so tasty. I love that the curry comes with noodles. So excited I have leftovers for tomorrow because I need another taste! My husband had the Drunken Noodles and loved that as well. They really do flavor right here. Parking: paid street and garage parking. Sadly they don't validate, that's the one downside.

While traveling for work, I often take MARTA and have noticed this beautifully situated corner restaurant. Recently, after a date at the High Museum, we decided to ride one station up and finally give it a try. The location is incredibly convenient--just steps from the Lindbergh station (now referred to as Uptown Atlanta), which has a noticeably cleaner and safer atmosphere. There are also several other dining options nearby, making it a nice area to explore. The restaurant itself is elegantly decorated, and the staff was very welcoming and attentive. It wasn't overly crowded during our visit, so the service was prompt and the food arrived quickly. We decided to try a variety of appetizers, and our server recommended the tower that includes four for $41--a great way to sample multiple dishes. Every item we tried was fresh and full of flavor. I haven't had Thai cuisine this vibrant and well-prepared in quite some time. For my entrée, I ordered the Khao Soi--the curry itself was delicious, though I wasn't particularly fond of the noodles that accompanied it. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. Whether you're in the area or simply looking to enjoy high-quality Thai food in a pleasant environment, it's well worth a visit.

Amazing customer service from Sylvia! She even took the time to remember everyone's name at the table. This was a beautiful experience and I look forward to going back for another celebration. The ambiance was well lit and had a specific elegance.

26 Thai Kitchen & Bar is a nice restaurant for Thai food! It is fairly spacious inside and beautifully decorated. There is also a patio section for outdoor seating. We had a really sweet server... I forgot her name but she might be the same person the other reviewers are talking about! She provided recommendations for food and continued to check in on our table, but to be fair it was just us and another couple. The food did not take too long to come out either. We got the Panang Curry with Chicken, Crab Cheese Rolls, Drunken Noodles with Chicken, and Tom Yum Soup. The Tom Yum Soup arrived in a smaller bowl and had a very flavorful broth. I was a big fan of the Crab Cheese Rolls! They are like crab rangoons but in egg roll form. It was perfectly crispy and cheesy but I do wish there was more of the crab meat in there. It also paired well with the sweet Thai chili sauce that it came with as well. I got the Drunken Noodles with Chicken and I was not that impressed. For me, the sauce was off. I was still able to eat it, but I have had better drunken noodles at other restaurants. I will say that my boyfriend enjoyed his Panang Curry with Chicken. Overall, this place has great service and solid Thai food. Definitely check it out if you are in the Buckhead area!

I went in for a nightcap on a date This place is excellent. The cocktails are some of the best that I have ever had. They are fresh, balanced, and complement the thai theme. Also, they have new desserts out. I tried the coconut cake, which was Wonderful, as well as fresh, homemade, fluffy, not too sugary (exactly what I wanted). Also, shout out to Lilly and Sylvia for being fantastic. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for locals and new visitors.

First off, I spent over 2.5 hours here eating with a friend. The food and drinks are amazing but the service is extremely slow. Our waitress was very attentive but the bar and kitchen was taking time to bring us our food. Not sure if this was by design or not. We came on a weekday night and they probably were not expecting too many people. I think there were only two waitresses for the entire place. I assume that most people that come here want to take their time here and savor the moment. There is a parking garage. Cost $10 for over 2 hours of parking. The decor looks good. Great vibes with mood lighting. I ordered a ton of food and drinks so let me break this down. For drinks, I got to try the Old Fashion and French 75. The Old Fashion is a classic and tastes good. The French 75 was unique in that they let me pour the sparkling champagne into the cognac. The drinks are strong so don't order more than two. For appetizers, I got to try the calamari and crab cheese rolls. Both come with a sweet chili dipping sauce. They gave more calamari than I was expecting. It tastes extremely good and was crispy. The lemon help bring out another flavor. The crab cheese rolls are as big as spring rolls. I couldn't taste an crab but it is filling. The main meal was this Grouper Pad Cha. It is Grouper filets cooked in an orange curry sauce. Sauteed vegetables were cool. A side of white rice to help clean taste buds.

This was our first time visiting TWENTY*SIX Thai, and I'm so glad we chose this location. From start to finish, everything was amazing. Our server Sylvia was an absolute pleasure, so attentive, friendly, and honestly one of the best servers I've had since moving to Atlanta two years ago. The food was incredible. I ordered the yellow curry, and it was hands down the best I've ever had in my life. It was perfectly balanced, flavorful, and comforting. The drink I had was equally delicious. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, modern, cozy, and just an overall vibe. Finding out that the restaurant is woman-owned and operated was the icing on the cake. I'll definitely be back!

Ask the Community - 26 Thai Kitchen & Bar

If you're looking for a happy hour this one no longer serve ! Just an fyi?

    Does this place offer catering?

Yes, just call or email them

    Is it casual?

I'd say yes! I think it can be what you make it. When we went, it was definitely a seductive moody vibe. So I think if you wanted to go on a date then it would be nice. On the other hand, if you just wanted to wear casual, I think it's fine too!

Is there a line always? How long is the wait usually be for a dinner?

No, there usually isn't a long wait at this location. And, if you need peace of mind (like myself), reservations are so easy and don't require a credit card.

Does this place offer catering for parties?

Yes, they do. I did a friend's surprise party here and it was awesome.

Is this a good place to have a 21st birthday dinner that can accommodate group of 12-17 people?

Yes it is. I'd call them though

Best dish to order for the first time Thai eater?

You can try the basic Thai food which is padthai, pad see ewe, or if you like spicy, you can try drunken noodle. My favorite dishes are kao soi, oxtail hunlay, or beef short rib.

I have never in my life had Americanized Thai food (or at least been conscience of it) but this tasted every bit of that. Not a single Thai national or descendant cooking or dining in here... I should have slid out the door upon noticing this but we were HONGRY and this place was walking distance. I appreciate the big portions to help alleviate the hunger, but the food going down wasn't even close to a real Thai experience. And the general ambience was definitely off. It's unclear whether this is a casual to-go spot or a sit-down spot or a bar. The service here was confusing. You have to order drinks separately from your food, for one. Secondly, it took a solid 10 minutes for a bartender to walk behind the bar and begrudgingly explain to me what they have available. I would have ordered more but her attitude made me close the tab after one beer. We didn't get served water until after we received our food, a solid 15-20 min after being in the restaurant. It generally felt like no one wanted to be there, and the staff were just moving independently to complete tasks instead of creating a dining experience *together*. There was not a smile from a single person I interacted with. I'd most likely not return purely because the dining experience is just plain out uncomfortable. On to the food. Mostly oil and noodles except for the papaya salad, which was... okay. Again, big portions. Nice heat. But just okay. The whole cherry tomatoes on top were a little weird and screamed laziness. The tofu kee mao was... okay. Same for the chicken pad thai. Lots of oil. This food made us feel pretty tired after eating it, which I've rarely experienced eating Thai cuisine. And they were very, very stingy with the protein. My husband counted 4-5 little slivers of chicken and hella noodles. The same was true for my tofu dish. I mean... it's tofu y'all. Cheap. But I can imagine they have to cut these corners because there were about 8 staff members running around in a small space with only a few customers in for happy hour. They do have HH deals on drinks depending on the day, but I found the drinks to be overpriced and not worth it. Especially the beer. And a $10 non-alcoholic cocktail is wild imo, especially for the scanty area this area is in. They are certainly milking the fact that they are in eyeshot of the Mercedes Benz stadium. The inside is beautiful and very ~trendy~ and honestly that tells me exactly where the focus is. I'd rate this a 2, but I'm adding a star for the spotless restrooms.

I was very excited to try this place, as it's been hard finding good Thai food in Metro Atlanta…read more Everything about my experience was just ok. It wasn't clear that parking is validated if you pay at one of the stalls using the QR code. The restaurant was fairly quiet and empty when we arrived, and we had a reservation. We were seated directly next to the kitchen where it was loud and noisy, which was an interesting choice since there were so many empty tables everywhere else. The food was just ok in my opinion. The best thing we ate was the appetizer, which was the crab curry vermicelli bites. It was delicious and flavorful. For main entrees, we ordered pad see ew and pad woon sen, both with chicken. Both were very underwhelming. The flavor profile just wasn't there in my opinion. We asked for three stars of spicy, and the pad woon sen came out with red tinted noodles and extra sauce on the side, which tasted like it was supposed to be hot sauce? It's hard to describe, but the noodles tasted superficially spicy if that makes sense. It tasted like they flavored it to look spicy, but it wasn't spicy in the traditional sense. There were no chili flakes or oils that were incorporated into the dish and it wasn't offered as a side, which is typically my experience at Thai restaurants. The portions were also relatively small for their price tags in my opinion. Two entrees and one appetizer (no drinks) ended up being in the $80s. Also for being an "upscale" Thai restaurant, more authentic touches would have been nice. For example, chopsticks weren't offered at the table when we were seated or when they brought our food out. We had to flag down our waiter and had to specifically request it, and we got disposable chopsticks. Again, not a huge deal, but in my experience at upscale Thai restaurants, they usually offer proper, reusable chopsticks along with other silverware. Overall, this place was a miss for me, given the flavors and the food for the cost.

I ordered an espresso martini, and fried Gyoza for an appetizer. The Gyoza came with a mushroom soy sauce that was really light and delicious. My espresso martini was amazing! I ordered the crab meat fried rice for my meal and it was very delicious. Pretty simple and didn't have a lot of extra stuff in it like veggies but still very delicious. We had a large group of people and our server was really nice and dealt with it very well. Everything just took a little bit longer. I definitely want to return for that award-winning pad Thai. Oh, and by the way, parking was super easy and simple. I got there around 7:20 on a Friday evening and was able to find parking behind the building in the open air lot very easily.

The decor, especially the service, is very on point. All the servers were friendly and attentive. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with Thai cultural artifacts, and there's also a backdrop of umbrellas at the entrance that makes for a nice photo spot. The food, however, was a bit hit-or-miss for me. Most of the dishes were a little too heavily seasoned, too sweet, or too salty for my taste. My boyfriend enjoyed the food more than I did. My palate tends to lean toward lighter flavors. The food was good overall. Nothing to complain about, but nothing really stood out as amazing either. We had: - Strawberry Creamy Mocktail: a bit too syrupy for me. - Black Mussels: the mussels were a little dry and didn't taste very fresh. The dish was also too salty for my taste. - Fried Gyoza - Satay Chicken - Tiger Prawns & Scallops - Roti Bread: we ordered this as a side without curry. - Mango Sticky Rice for dessert. Overall, it's a nice place with really good service and beautiful decor. Although the food didn't quite work for my palate, it will probably suit people who enjoy stronger and more heavily seasoned flavors. I would still recommend giving it a try, especially for the atmosphere and excellent service.

That said, this might be my last meal on the planet if I had to choose: Pork Larb w cabbage, Papaya salad, and a side of jasmine rice. I am giving this place 5 stars for their authentic flavor and beautiful presentation. They did not have pork Larb and I will not Complain bc the chicken was fabulous. and to put the whole peanuts in the papaya salad! It's the best I've ever had. Im happy that I found a way to give you all a good review bc you have the friendliest and most welcome staff too! Thank you! Cindy.

Four days later, Tuk Tuk closed its doors for good. What an unexpected and bittersweet discovery. And I'm so glad I got to experience it. From the moment you walked into the downstairs foyer and saw the tuk-tuk, you knew this wasn't going to be an ordinary Thai restaurant. Take the stairs or elevator to the second-floor dining room and suddenly you're transported. The space was stylish, warm and beautifully done, with wonderful details throughout. We started with an ice-cold Paper Plane cocktail, perfectly made and a lovely beginning to dinner. My girlfriend and I shared the seafood garlic noodles, loaded with seafood and deeply savory. Delicious. Then we spotted the whole fish special on the chalkboard and couldn't resist. The whole fish arrived dramatically presented over garlic rice with a fresh papaya salad. It was enormous -- far more than the two of us could finish -- beautifully prepared and absolutely worth ordering. And because I will always find room for dessert, I finished with mango sticky rice. No regrets. It delivered exactly what I wanted after a Thai feast. I love Thai food. I seek it out when I travel, and meals like this are exactly why. Great Thai cooking can hit sweet, salty, sour, spicy and savory notes seemingly all at once, yet somehow remain beautifully balanced. Learning only a week later that Tuk Tuk had closed genuinely made me sad. I feel incredibly fortunate that I happened to walk through those doors one last time without knowing just how fleeting the opportunity was. After 16 years, that's quite a legacy -- and I'm grateful I got one final taste of it. Life is too short not to eat well or travel well. Get out there and find your next meal on your journey -- because sometimes the places you think will always be there simply won't be.
