Rainbow Special Roll This is the freshest sushi I've ever eaten. So good. I've had this roll a few times. And it's definitely my favorite. The customer service is amazing and the atmosphere is nice and cozy. They have so many options to choose from. If your looking for a nice place to have some good sushi or hibachi, you should stop by here if you're in the area. Tell them Heather sent you

We were craving sushi and decided to stop at this place for a quick roll. I was very surprised but this place. The Hawaiian Sunset Roll was DELICIOUS! The flavors did not lack at all, the jalapeño, the spicy mayo paired with FRESH fish. I am convinced the Sashimi at this place would be so good. We got to try a Spicy Crab Chip and it was amazing as well. The waitress was super nice and the place also seemed super nice for a dinner out. We will be back!

The service here was wonderful! The food here was even better and definitely a place worth visiting! It was so nice and calm on the inside as well.

If you want a true mom and pop, down to Earth sushi experience, this is IT! I don't live anywhere close but I came here once and only get sushi from here from now on. The sweetest people work here(!!!) Every time I come, they give me extra food just because they are genuinely happy to have people visit their restaurant. It is the most delicious sushi and the warmest feeling when I come here. I go on solo dates here all the time because it literally regulates my nervous system an undiscovered gem in Brookhaven!

I was craving sushi and wanted to try a new spot. I decided to try Sushi Yoshino because I pass by there everyday. When we first walked in, I loved the traditional sushi vibe and appearance of the restaurant. We were the only customers and the server was very nice and had great recommendations. I tried the Black Dragon Roll and my girl had the Yum Yum roll. Both were delicious and filled me up. We had the opportunity to try their crab chips and salmon sushi. Very impressed by the flavors. The prices were a little higher than expected BUT it still wasn't that bad compared to other places. I can't wait to try this place again and see what other rolls they have on the menu. If you're in the area, check this place out.

The vibe of the resteraunt is great for a date night. The service was also nice, we received complimentary sashimi and our food was brought out quickly. We noticed a few tables away that a man had sent back his chicken and walked out, we only ordered sushi. The food itself was fine, the sashimi is definitely the way to go if you want something fresh!

Had dinner here last night. I ordered the salmon avocado salad, and R ordered the dinner chirashi don. The salmon avocado salad included salmon, little chunks of avocado, iceberg lettuce, massage, kale, and a tiny bit of purple cabbage. A ginger based salad dressing came on the side. I had assumed when I ordered the salad that the salmon was going to be cooked. Yes, I love sashimi, but I felt that the raw salmon did not good with the salad dressing. The raw salmon was fresh and the salad overall was good. R's chirashi looked fantastic. The chef did a great job on the presentation. R said that the chirashi tasted really delicious. Parking can be hard to find since the free public parking lot is shared with many businesses, mostly restaurants. Service last night was very attentive and quick, and they made sure that we had prompt refills for the hot tea and water. The restaurant was very clean, and the decor strongly reminded me of small Japanese bars and soba restaurants that I used to visit when I was stationed on Okinawa in my Air Force days. This is a quiet and modest restaurant that is a great place for having conversations while enjoying delicious Japanese food.

We were in the mood for sushi, but no one wanted to go out to grab it. Therefore, we ordered Hawaiian Sunset Roll, Bubble Gum Roll, Super Crunch Roll, and Super Volcano Roll via UberEats. The food arrived fresh, and everything was unbelievably delicious. This was my first time eating sushi from Sushi Yoshino. I will return!

The short, thin hostess at the front repeatedly rolled her eyes behind our backs while seating us. I didn't notice it at the time, but our friend pointed it out towards the end of our meal, and it left a very negative impression. Our server was also inattentive. He checked on nearly every table around us multiple times but rarely came by ours. We ordered over $150 worth of food for just the two of us, yet received very little service. Despite that, we still left a 20% tip. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing as well. A lot of the food arrived cold. The quality and taste were nowhere near as good as what we remembered from previous visits. After giving this restaurant multiple chances, we can confidently say we will not be returning.

What a great deal - my friends and I decided to check it out and we had a great dinner. Servers were attentive and the food came out in a timely manner. I ordered the Samurai Roll, as well as the Chicken Karaage appetizer. The chicken was sooo good - perfectly, lightly fried with sauce to dip. Tender and flavorful! The Samurai Roll was substantial and I appreciate the generosity of the roll. It was topped with salmon, and usually when rolls are topped with fish, it's usually a pretty thin slice of fish, but these slices of salmon were quite thick in my opinion. The pieces of sushi themselves are also fairly thick - it was a big bite for me to eat each piece in one. I made a reservation in advance and the staff already had my table ready even though I was a little early. The table was already dressed with menus, chopsticks, and some small plates/sauce dishes. Love it when restaurants are on top of it!

This place delivers with good sushi and sashimi!…read more We decided to check this place out this weekend based on the reviews and proximity to everyone. If you are close to Buford Hwy you should try this place. They have parking for a few cars right in front, a smallish restaurant inside with a full sushi bar. Their menu is pretty comprehensive and includes fried rice, noodles, sushi rolls, sashimi, soups etc. As we were a large group we ordered a bunch of things. Most of the entrees are served with a salad and soup making it quite the meal. We ordered the sashimi appetizer, the pork gyoza, shrimp shumai, omelette, combination fried rice, B-52 roll, sunrise roll, crunchy roll I think. Sashimi was fresh - yellowtail, tuna, salmon. The gyoza was delicious and table favorite Honestly, I even enjoyed the pork belly omelette. So flavorful... The fried rice was cooked well but was missing some seasoning/salt. Otherwise good. The rolls were great and we selected ones that had some spice. My favorite was the sunrise roll - a little crunchy inside yet with a slight kick. The staff felt a little overwhelmed with our group but they were polite and helpful. Food was prices reasonably and worth it (for the portion sizes).

Their tonkotsu ramen broth is pretty great too! I always have a hard time choosing but wish I'd try more from the menu. A unique noodle dish with a cute origin story!…read more The story begins with a wife wanting to nourish her husband while he studied for the Imperial Exams on a little island. She made a rich golden chicken noodle soup and sealed in the flavor, heat, and aroma with a layer of chicken oil; and packed the other ingredients separately so that her husband could have a fresh meal as he studied. This dish and style of preparation/presentation eventually became known as Crossing-the-Bridge noodles and is categorized as an intangible cultural heritage for the region. Similar to hot pot, you're supposed to cook the individual ingredients in the hot broth when it all comes out; however, the pot isn't constantly cooking and it should all go in when it arrives at the table. The original broth is really flavorful, while remaining delicate and hearty, and all the various components go well together. The only thing is that the broth does cool down relatively quickly once you start putting in all the other ingredients, so some things weren't as hot as I would've liked. But, overall, I enjoyed my experience! Service was wonderful and there's always parking in this plaza.
