The food quality was unreal! The chicken was so well seasoned and tender. Same with the beef fajita, so tender I could basically part it with just pressure from my fork! My birthday happens to be Cinco de Mayo! We were in the area for baseball on 5/4 and looking for Mexican food. Tio Tony's came up and it did not disappoint! They were packed, but even as busy as they were, our server was amazing! One of the boys ordered something that was a little too spicy. The server didn't make a big deal of it at all. She was very accommodating! If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stop back by! Also, we sat on the outdoor patio. Fed us uncooked chicken in the enchiladas. My husband ate one and saw the chicken in the first bite of the second. When we politely told the server that it wasn't cooked, he took the plate away and then came back and said his manager said that's just how it comes. No manager came to the table to even talk to us or explain. went here all throughout middle and high school and was wonderful. went tonight 5/21/25 and was disappointed when brought reheated fajitas the first time. sent them back and second time around all meat seems overcooked at best. shrimp is downright tire texture. didn't eat but one but of the second plate either but they tried to force us to pay for food we didn't eat. when paying we refused to pay for the food we did not eat or walk and were told to just walk because we "didnt have the money anyway" so we did. WILL NOT BE BACK. TERRIBLE. We were working at the cement kiln for the week and all the guys recommended Tio Tony's for lunch. They said the food was outstanding and the tequila drinks were generous. We did find the food to be quite tasty. We grabbed a booth for lunch and our server greeted us immediately. I asked for a pitcher of water and our server gladly obliged. We decided to go with the lunch special of chicken divorciadas and a few tacos. We had a fajita steak taco and a fluffy beef taco. They dropped off chips and salsa to enjoy while we waited for our food. Our food came out quickly and it all looked great. The chicken special was very tasty. The red and green sauce hit the spot. The fajita taco hit the spot. It was my first time trying a fluffy taco and it was unique. It seemed like a little taco salad to me, but it was enjoyed. Overall, we enjoyed our visit to Tio Tony's. The waitresses/hostesses were incredibly sweet, though visibly saddled with the burdens that can wear one away in a small town. They always made it a point to smile, and linger just a few seconds longer at the table. I appreciated that so very much. The enchiladas were quite good. Kind of like what grandma would make. I only had a couple of chips and salsa. I can imagine that they are "the best in town," with little competition. The margarita (house) is the default when you order one and it was very watered down..i had e and it didn't even feel like I had finished a full one. The whole endeavour didn't take long. 45 minutes at most, though I likely burned an extra 15 minutes lingering a bit too long at the hostess stand on my way out, entertaining all of the smiles that had found their way to me on the course of my adventure.
