We were looking for something quick after a soccer game and decided to give it a try. I got carnita tacos, my son got a shrimp burrito, and my girlfriend got a quesadea. Just moved to Midlo. I thought I'd try a local spot. I prefer traditional Mexican food, not a fan of TexMex. This place is mostly TexMex. I ordered 3 tacos to give them a shot anyway. My order took 45 minutes. They said they get to online orders first. Needless to say, me and everyone else waiting were upset. Food was bland and not very good either. Not coming back ever again. Had a burrito and it was huge. Definitely filled me up and was really tasty. Wait was about 20 minutes around 12:30 on a Saturday. So a little longer than I'd typically like to wait but they said everything it cooked to order and it all tasted fresh. Will definitely be going back. read more

Big big addicted elote critic, I felt like I was given a cup with very small portion of corn in an already small cup with a ton of juice & a ton of hot sauce with a sprinkle of cheese, no mayonnaise & or sour cream really in it, it was terrible & over priced for a super small cup. I attached a picture of it before I even took one bite out of it, looks half empty. I also ordered an al pastor torta with extra cheese & instead got no cheese at all, meat has good flavor but I thought it was dry if it weren't for their beans which were pretty good the torta was just going to get trashed till it got saved by the beans, it took me a few bites till I got to them. The tacos were okay again meat was dry but flour tortilla was good. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL! Nailed the Green hot sauce though. Not sure I'll be back. Gotta love Taco Tuesday! This hit the spot. 5 Carne Asada Tacos, 3 Al Pastor tacos and a steak Quesadillas later. I have happy tummies and a satisfied family. To top it off, No dishes for Mama to do. Flavor was spot on. Papa's fave was the Salsa Rojas with the right amount of bite for his tacos. My daughter and I enjoyed the Jalapeño Hot Sauce flavorful without extreme heat. I recommend order online or call ahead. When you order at the window they will give you a pager so your not standing in the elements and can wait comfortably in your car. I love their food! We ordered carne asada tortas online. They were ready exactly when they said they would be and they had our order perfect. All the extras were on the right sandwiches. They remembered the extra salsa, avocado, and onion. They had plenty of meat and filling, the sandwiches were big! Great flavor. Will definitely be my go to when I have a craving. read more

This place is pretty good. Probably the best taco place in Midlothian. My only issue is they don't give a lot of meat, and they are a little over priced for what you get. We love this place! Taco plate with rice and beans is on point. Barbacoa is good and greasy the way it's supposed to be! We also love their breakfast burritos! Tacos are pretty good but the prices are a little too high for what you get. Taqueria El Campo is way better and cheaper.

Driving through to Waxahachie to buy some fireworks and stopped by 287 Taco Shop on the way back. Boy were we surprised. We have seen it countless times whenever we travel but decided we would give it a go this time around and I am glad that we did. I like to start off a new place with an order of barbacoa tacos and they nailed it! The barbacoa was on point, the cilantro and onions were just the right amount, and they doubled up on the soft warm corn tortillas just like I like it. We also ordered the chicken quesadillas, bean and cheese burrito, and an elotes. The horchata was smooth and refreshing and was not gritty. Everything was perfect! The only downside that we learned was that they were not open the next day(we were ready to go back!), they are closed on Sundays which I won't hold against them.
