It's a sunken tile tub that had a few years of soap scum and hard water crud layered on. Abby and Fred worked diligently on it with serious tools, cleaners, elbow grease and patience on one of the hottest days of the year. It looks wonderful now. I genuinely appreciated his willingness to accommodate me. Unfortunately, despite the extra time, my home still did not receive a deep clean. Appliances, cabinets, windowsills, bathroom fixtures, and other detailed areas remained dirty, and I spent the following day cleaning after the cleaners. I took photos immediately after they said the work was complete and shared them with the owner and asked them to come back and complete the items asked as they had just spend over an hour in the unit and these things weren't addressed. It took a while to get a response regarding my experience but the owner eventually reduced my invoice from 6.5 hours to 5 regular cleaning hours after seeing my photos, which I appreciated, but the quality of the work still didn't justify the cost. Hiring a cleaning company should save you time--not require you to supervise the work, ask them to redo it, and then clean it yourself afterward. While the owner was kind and professional throughout our conversations, the quality of the work simply did not meet expectations. The cleaning crew arrived at 9:00 a.m., and by 1:00 p.m. they informed me that only about 50% of the home had been completed and that they needed an additional $600 to finish the job. What made the situation even more frustrating was that I was effectively left with no choice. At that point, half of the house had already been cleaned, leaving me to either pay the additional $600 or have the company walk away with the job unfinished. As the owner of a property management company, I found this business practice extremely concerning and unprofessional. If the scope of work was underestimated, that should have been identified before the work began, not after the customer is already committed. In my opinion, this pricing approach feels misleading and unethical. I would strongly encourage others to get all pricing and expectations in writing before hiring this company.
