What a wonderful surprise! Two ladies who run the food truck have great homemade seasoned beef balls (their OG Sisters Balls), seafood balls, sausage meatballs (Tony's Balls), turkey balls (Gobble Gool Balls), Rice Balls, vegan mini balls, and even mini calzone aka "Italian empanadas."  All are topped off with their signature San Marzano tomato sauce.  If meatballs aren't your jam, they also offer specials such as eggplant parmigiana and zucchini flowers. We ordered the following, Gobble Gool, OG Sister's Balls, Tony's, and their famous OG Sisters Balls. All were perfectly seasoned and savory!! Your Sister's Balls, the food truck, serve their balls in pairs with a slice of fresh Italian bread, to mop up the delicious sauce in to-go containers. If you plan on eating right away, they do offer a paper tray, lined with aluminum foil. It should be noted, The Sampler, which includes 3 big balls, please note the seafood, vegan, and mini calzones are not included. If you want to know where their food truck will be found, you can check them out via Instagram or FaceBook. One of the ladies even told me you can sign up for their email list for updates, promotions, and where they will be to follow them. Can't wait to try out more of their specials. I've got my eyes on their eggplant parmigiana!

Her old cart was hit from behind while stopped at a light near the firehouse. The GoFundMe raised money for her to purchase a new cart. She was out for about 2 weeks. She's back as of this weekend, 8-23-2026. Her service is always tops, she's a sweetie. It was a nice refreshing day to hang out at the park and catchup with Sophie. The new cart is a bit longer and wider than her old cart and runs a bit hotter. So she's still getting used to it. The hot dog was delicious. She is currently out of the onion sauce, her supplier seems to be out of it the past month or so. Her spirit is strong and she's so happy to serve and chat with everyone. Her special is $7 for 2 hot dogs, a drink and chips. She has a spicy sausage that I have not tried yet. Please keep stopping by and supporting this wonderful lady! Sophie is a local treasure. I want to find a way to help her with her signage and I am hoping maybe someone else has a line on some jars of onion sauce for her. Some of her customers are missing that topping! We also need to find a way to get her some protection from the elements. The umbrella is near the center on this cart, not protecting her like the old one did. Good food, great service, sweet lady. So glad to see her back up and running! Many heartfelt thanks to all who pitched in to the GoFundMe to help her out! Awesome community for an awesome lady.

The simple push cart setup has a nostalgic charm and the owner, Sophie, is such a sweet lady, she reminds me of a familiar auntie. The buns were soft and the dogs had a nice snap to it. Best of all, they were just $2.50 a pop, I had to get two. Great food, amazing value and welcoming. Definitely going back for more!

Unfortunately a lot of the rolls we wanted to get like beef brisket and curry fish balls ran out, also too is the sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaf. We ended up settling for roast pork rice roll, and a beef version, and lastly fish ball version. They make it from scratch which is nice to see while the ingredients are chopped up to small pieces. I do wish they put more ingredients in but for the price they charge (average of $2.75 per roll), no complaints there. There is one small table outside to eat in but no indoor seating or bathroom. I would give 3 strong stars.

I tried the fresh pork roll with egg, scallions, and cilantro for just $3. The rice noodles were smooth and soft, the proportions of ingredients to rice roll were well-balanced, and the soy sauce was flavorful. I enjoyed every bite!

The platter comes with perfectly seasoned chicken over rice, along with fresh lettuce and tomatoes. I got the famous white sauce and hot sauce on the side so I could add as much as I wanted, and both took the dish to the next level. The chicken was flavorful, tender, and paired perfectly with the rice. The portion was generous and incredibly filling, making it an excellent value. Everything tasted fresh, and I honestly enjoyed every bite. That said, it was so good I could probably eat two platters! The line was long, but don't let that discourage you it moved steadily and was absolutely worth the wait. Whether you're a local or just visiting NYC, this is one of those iconic spots you have to experience at least once. it!

I don't go as much as I use to, as the price has more than doubled since 2017/18. However, that has nothing to do with my rating. My problem is that meats have gone downhill. I used to love gyro meat - never sure what it was exactly lamb or beef - but now it is just gross and greasy. The chicken which used to be excellent is now very dry. The white sauce is great and the rice is fine, but that is it. Not worth getting anymore. Maybe one of their competitors is better, can't really be worse.
