These guys are clearly commanding the halal food scene, and after finally trying it, I completely understand the hype. The food was flavorful, satisfying, and exactly what we needed at that moment. There's something about eating a great late-night meal straight from NYC food cart that just hits differently. I will say, my sandwich was VERY spicy. And i love spicy food, but this was another level haha... My entire mouth was on fire. The funny part? I literally could not stop eating it. It was that good. Two ladies who run the food truck have great homemade seasoned beef balls (their OG Sisters Balls), seafood balls, sausage meatballs (Tony's Balls), turkey balls (Gobble Gool Balls), Rice Balls, vegan mini balls, and even mini calzone aka "Italian empanadas."  All are topped off with their signature San Marzano tomato sauce.  If meatballs aren't your jam, they also offer specials such as eggplant parmigiana and zucchini flowers. We ordered the following, Gobble Gool, OG Sister's Balls, Tony's, and their famous OG Sisters Balls. All were perfectly seasoned and savory!! Your Sister's Balls, the food truck, serve their balls in pairs with a slice of fresh Italian bread, to mop up the delicious sauce in to-go containers. If you plan on eating right away, they do offer a paper tray, lined with aluminum foil. It should be noted, The Sampler, which includes 3 big balls, please note the seafood, vegan, and mini calzones are not included. She was organized, responsive, and made the entire process simple and stress-free. The simple push cart setup has a nostalgic charm and the owner, Sophie, is such a sweet lady, she reminds me of a familiar auntie. The buns were soft and the dogs had a nice snap to it. Her old cart was hit from behind while stopped at a light near the firehouse. The GoFundMe raised money for her to purchase a new cart. She was out for about 2 weeks. She's back as of this weekend, 8-23-2026. Her service is always tops, she's a sweetie. It was a nice refreshing day to hang out at the park and catchup with Sophie. The new cart is a bit longer and wider than her old cart and runs a bit hotter. So she's still getting used to it. The hot dog was delicious. She is currently out of the onion sauce, her supplier seems to be out of it the past month or so. Her spirit is strong and she's so happy to serve and chat with everyone. Her special is $7 for 2 hot dogs, a drink and chips. She has a spicy sausage that I have not tried yet. Please keep stopping by and supporting this wonderful lady! Sophie is a local treasure. I want to find a way to help her with her signage and I am hoping maybe someone else has a line on some jars of onion sauce for her. Some of her customers are missing that topping! We also need to find a way to get her some protection from the elements. The umbrella is near the center on this cart, not protecting her like the old one did. Good food, great service, sweet lady. There was also a few price things on our bill that I wasn't thrilled about. Their menu has listed items that are additional for an upcharge. When I had ordered the Monroe, I had the option to add cheese to it, and they asked if I would like any cheese with it, so I said sure. The little bit of cheese was an extra $1.50, and I feel like being that they have other things that they clearly called out as an upcharge, they should have let me know it was an extra $1.50 for this. Also on the bill, they charged me for oat milk for my hot chocolate. I had to draw this to their attention that I hadn't ordered oat milk. they merely said, "well we mixed it in." That's not the point, it did taste a little off, and I specifically ordered a regular hot chocolate. While they took the 50 cents off, it did feel like they were just nickeling and diming me on some things. Overall, I had an okay experience. The pancakes were good, but the service was friendly. By the time we left, the place was completely packed and people were waiting outside so I think that speaks to how good the food is and maybe I just had a slightly less positive experience.
