After approximately 14 phone calls to request a resolution to my problem (shades clatter with the slightest breeze), and receiving very few return calls, I've had it. The final straw was a home visit by sales rep,George Fortsch, to discuss options. He said he would confer with administration about a refund. I never heard from George again, although I left 3 messages. I then called Robert, who evidently has more authority. He promised to call me back, but he never did. Finally somebody came to install my last shutter after I called the person who sold them to us and posted a review here, somebody left me a message about some time of compensation I called 3 times and left my name and my husbands phone number but no call back. We feel cheated. They got our payments .. "needed before they could order" October. Had to remeasure and delayed. Started installing December. Had the wrong length. Had to come again because of problems and promised they would have the remeasured parts ready quickly.. it is now February 23. They have become hard to reach. No one returns our texts or calls. And to drop things off my wife has spent over three hours today waiting for them to pick up after putting us on hold in order for them to get a supervisor. I wished i had read these reviews before selecting 3 day blinds. These are for motorized blinds, with a few non-motorized. At the time of the initial consult 1/2022, they promised would be able to complete install within 2weeks, which is why we selected them. Some delays initially and given covid supply issues, we were patient and waited. The 1st attempt at install was 5 weeks later at end of February. Everything went wrong: mis-measurements, wrong color, wrong fabric, broken mechanics. They reordered & 2nd install was 3/2022. It is now April and there are still issues. I can understand human error but what I am most frustrated with is their Lack of communication. Each time, I have been the first to reach out to follow up. The last message I just received from them is they are working on redoing my blinds, but will 'close my case.' Apparently they 'open a new order' to fix the issue. I'm guessing this is their work around so it doesn't seem an order from January is still incomplete. I am beyond frustrated. I paid 50% at the onset and the rest at the 1st attempted install. It is now 100% paid for and still incomplete. Once they take your money, they don't care & it is up to you to keep calling their general customer service line. The only person who was on their game was the installer, but he can't do his job when given the wrong parts. I hope my experience will save someone else from this frustration. Run far far away. Stay far far far away!! Absolutely incompetent. With close to 10 visits to our house for them to still mess up as every single window was measured wrong and a lot of parts are missing. Our house has looked like a mess with half our windows without drapes and the other half being the wrong size (work is still not complete 5 months in). Having to sit home over and over again while they made endless visits to find out things are still incorrect. We are still missing a parts and I've been having to chase them with endless calls to customer service, and nobody knows what they are doing as they pass you from one department to another. They put you on hold and hang up when you finally reach someone. Clueless. Worst money ever spent. Avoid at all costs. This was handled so badly I had to research to see if we had been scammed! We had 10 blinds installed in our house from 3 day blinds in April, 2019. 5 of those blinds were motorized. Since that time we have needed service on the motorized blinds 5 times. One blind in particular lost it program 3 times and needed a service technician to come out and reprogram it (my attempts to do the re-programming after watching their youtube videos were unsuccessful). 2 of the blinds are mounted on very high windows that required a technician with a high ladder to replace the batteries every 18 months. The 3-day blind service department does not respond to email requests for service, so each request requires a phone call. I have not been on hold waiting in a queve to speak to a service technician less than 45 minutes, and on one call I waited over 1.5 hours. On each call I had to pay in advance for the service and wait for the local contractor to call to schedule the appointment. The payment amount has varied between 89.99 to 350.00. This last call, the request to reprogram the same blind again, I was charged 89.99 plus tax despite the fact there is no tax in Oregon. The local contractor, Rayline, in Vancouver, WA does not answer their scheduling phone, and does not have email, so you have to wait until they reach out to you. This last service request I got an email notification that they had scheduled the service call for a day I was not available. I said no to the appointment via text, and got a return text that said to call them. I have left 4 messages over 4 days and not heard back. In the past they did get back to me, but not in a timely fashion. Most of the waits have been between 2-3 weeks, with service another month in the future. The service call when I needed to batteries changed on the high windows the wait for a scheduling call was nearly 3 months, and the batteries were changed about 2 months later. While these waits have at times been excessive, they have not yet failed to reach out after I paid for a service call. I will install additional motorized blinds in the future, but it is so hard to deal with service issues I will search for another company. read more

I had left a review before (not good) but here I am back again because more shades have broken. On hold AGAIN every month or so getting them replaced on my dime. I wish I had gone with a higher quality, more expensive company at the beginning. Full set of shades for 2 story new house 2 years ago. They are constantly breaking. Constant appointments and phone calls. The strings get tied up in the upper mechanism. They try to sell you a huge shade for a huge window. Better to get 2 small ones. The strings can't handle it. Told them I wanted 2 side by side a year ago for a back bedroom....and guess what they put in? Another huge one that just broke again. The "bottom up top down" shades have loose, long strings hanging everywhere. I replaced them with regular shades for $5,000. I hate that I'm stuck with these. read more

I ordered window treatments for my whole house in February 2021. Installation (by third party) did not begin until October 2021. As of writing this review, the installation of the shades has not been completed . I've reached out several times to get the job completed without success. I paid extra for the Somfy system to control the shades from the app on my phone - I was just given the box and told to set it up myself. Some of the motors on the shades sputter and skip as the shades lower. There are uneven shades, crooked and missing valances. Fit, finish, quality and installation of products is low. read more

Customer service is totally lacking. I recently purchased roller shades. One of them appears to be crooked on the right side. It could be installation or the way the roller shade was manufactured. Both the company and the installer have ignored my request to come to my house to see what I mean. They want pictures which since it is white on white does not show well. I also don't like the fact that they take their money as soon as the installation is done. As a customer you have no recourse to make them make things right. Their ad for 50% off a second product is bogus. It says for a limited time, but I have been receiving those ads for years. What you re paying is the actual retail price - don't be fooled. They charged $20 to take down a rod, just take down a rod, get it, I could take down a rod myself for free. Some windows didn't have a rod or anything and they charge for that. Was guaranteed install on 4 blinds. Production and delivery tooI 2 weeks more than promised. In addition; shipping to them took 3 days and install 1 day. when they arrived today, they discovered that 3 out of 4 of them were the wrong size. It will now take another 20 business days to receive them. That doesn't include install. We told the salesman (who guaranteed a 7 business day install) that we were going out of town for 2 months and required install before we leave. We told him if the install could not be done by September 20 that we would not enter into a contract. When the installer came today he found that 3 of the 4 blinds did not fit and would have to be reordered. The contract said we had 3 days to change our minds we could cancel. By far the worst company experience I have ever experienced. PLEASE BEWARE OF POOR SERVICE AND NO STANDING BY THE PRODUCT. Also be warned the correct shade will not arrive for at least 3 attempts and it will take many months to get a shade. Problem was that when their guy came to verify measurements, our funky bay window could not be covered to our satisfaction. 3-Day Blinds was really good up to this point. Before the measurements were verified, they quickly took a 50% deposit (CA contract law only allows for the lesser of 10% or $1,000 to be charged, so there is another bad business practice), and we have since had to pay the credit card company nearly $3,000 for something we cancelled in order to not pay finance charges. Talked to their acctg dept 10 days ago, who promised that within 10 days, they would credit us back. Still nada. Never use this company. They are pricy and their service stinks. I have had several blinds pull right out of the wall because they were not installed with any kind of anchor screws. This happened more than once. The first time, the repair service took several weeks to come fix the situation. The second time, after hours of being on hold, I could not even get an appointment scheduled for the blinds to be fixed. This was a dangerous situation as I went to raise the blinds and they fell right on me. Good thing it was not a small child! I was very excited to meet with the person scheduled to come see me. I waited around for 2 hours and then got a text at 4:00 p.m. stating he would be unable to come because he had to pick up his child, and that he just left his last appointment for the day. I thought I was going to be the last appointment. I told him I would work with another company. He immediately texted back and stated he could meet with me the next day or we could set a time the following week between Wednesday and Saturday. He said he would give me a "great" incentive if I made another appointment. So I did. He came out to my home the next day and was an hour late due to traffic. He sat with me for 90 minutes, maybe more. Never once did he say, how much can you spend? Never once did he tell me the difference in price between motorized shades and corded shades. He was very nice. I'll give him that. He measured all of the windows, but did not share the measurements with me. I guess that's their way of trying to ensure you don't give the info to another company. But it's okay, because I already had all of the measurements from a handyman who had taken them for me a day before. He took 15 minutes or so to enter all of the information into his computer and then wrote down a number. I thought the number was perhaps a serial number. It turned out that it was the price of the blinds. It was going to cost $22,000 plus to cover 21 windows of various sizes in the house. And I might add, there were no windows that were odd sizes to speak of. I was taken back by the amount. It really seemed that he should have let me know price ranges. He didn't so I was making the assumption that they must be affordable. I went in thinking maybe $300.00 per window after all was said and done based on research I did online to purchase your own off of Amazon or at Home Depot or Lowes. I looked at him and said, "so you're telling me that you want $1,000 plus per window for the house. He kept saying, you have 21 windows. Never would he acknowledge that it came out to $1,000 per window. Then he applied a coupon. Buy one, get one 50% off. The number came down to just over $20,000. Which sort of indicated to me that he gave me the deal of buy one, get one for just two shades, total. Because it certainly didn't add up to what it should have been had it been a deal on all of shades. I told him I can't afford that. I told him I don't pay interest on any credit cards and that I could utilize their no-interest financing, but I wouldn't do that on a $20,000 bill because I couldn't guarantee I could pay it off in the year. As I said no, the price suddenly came down to just over $14,000.00. He said it was because it was June 30th and he could give me the deal. The problem I had with this, is the dishonesty surrounding the sales tactic. It felt like someone trying to sell me a time share all of a sudden. I was waiting for the closer to come knocking on my front door to finish me off and make the sale. Had I said I wanted the blinds for $22,000.00, this sales person would have taken my money and thought nothing of it, knowing he could take the price to $14,000.00. $14,000.00 was still too much for something that only has a 5 year guarantee. I could put a new roof on my home for less than that. I could have replaced all of my floors with tile or waterproof laminate wood floors for $22,000.00. It felt dishonest, because it absolutely was. I would put money on it, that I could call ol' George today and tell him I want the $14,000 deal, and he would do it in a heart beat. Thanks, but no thanks. i don't do business with dishonest people. I told George I could do it, if we don't do motorized on so many windows. He promised that he would rework the numbers and email me on Saturday. I never heard from him again. I did hear from 3 day blinds asking if I'd like to make the order on the phone with them. I never heard from George again. Thank Goodness, I didn't have $22,000 for this, because I'm reading reviews, and it looks like a lot of buyers remorse for the people who used them. THIS COMPANY IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!!!! 1. The blind consultants never reached out after we paid for the product to see if we were happy with the install or product. 2. We were NEVER informed that WE were responsible for co ordinating the install date and time. We later found out that the install company is also a SEPARATE company contracted out from 3 day blinds, when we got a call from them to schedule an install appointment. We never heard from 3 day blinds again. 3. The installation was done crooked and rendered BOTH blinds in operable. The quality of the product is cheep and flimsy, and you can see the operating mechanism that is supposed to be covered at the top, hanging down past the cover on both sides of the blinds. the blinds roll onto the plastic causing it to fray . 4. WE had to reach out to 3 day blinds several times before we could get anyone out to look at the product. They blamed the install company, the install company blamed the product. 5. The blinds had to be re made 4 times since our initial purchace. This project began on OCTOBER 14th 2020, its FEBRUARY 26th 2021. The installer just called to tell us that his car broke down and won't be able to do the install until next month. 6. We have tried several times to reach out to our case manager and they never respond to e mails or answer the phone. Communicating with this company is a complete nightmare. They take your money and leave you hanging with terribly made product you cannot use. I cannot stress how absolutely disgusted we are with this company, and the people we have had to interact with that work there. I STRONGLY DO NOT recommend using this company. David Ralls, Design Consultant was the best! He was knowledgeable, helpful, and provided expert guidance on mini blinds selection. 50% on 2nd blind helped. Install was completed within 3 days of ordering and I don't mind not getting the $100 discount since the timing mattered. Don't let the installers leave until you check the cord length; 2 of 3 blinds needed to be a bit shorter. Overall pleased with service and recommend. 4 stars instead of 5 because even with the 50% off on base price on one of the blinds, they were still more expensive than I hoped/expected. read more

Who needs to be "Remote for Work/Pandemic Ready" for work in 2020?? What a great company choice for shades! Professional and accurate which is very important in my opinion as a consumer! I met Justin Int'Veld-Covey who made the appointment so seamless. He went through the house and offered sound advice which is exactly what I needed. I didn't need to spend an extra amount for the vertical blinds that were working in both bedrooms. I did need new coverings in my dining area and I picked the solar blinds where you can still see outside but keep the sun out from the room. They had different levels of darkness of shades on that solar which I liked. Working from home more so was an essential thing to add to our budget this year. He scheduled the appointment to order and install in a matter of 3-days. Dominique then called to confirm and then Carlos was at the door to install, even early. He had the tools to cut and customize with him to seal the corners within an hour. What an awesome experience with these experts and the solar shades are a great add-on to our home! Absolutely HORRIFIC customer service!! I've never experienced such incompetence and unprofessionalism. I ordered ONE motorized outdoor blind in October for $2000. Waited 2 months for it to be delivered and installed. However, it was missing the remote control (the only way to operate the blind) and came with the wrong cable. The cable was not made for the outdoors and was too short to reach the outlet, despite the fact that they came to assess and take measurements prior to production. I had to call them again to inform them of the issue. They ordered the cable and said it would arrive in 2 weeks. 3 weeks later, I called them to get an update, and the cable was nowhere to be found. After spending a cumulative of 4 hours on the phone with 3 Day Blinds and speaking to 2 different managers and several customer service representative, my issue was never resolved. Conveniently however, they had charged me the full amount. Don't EVER order anything from 3 Day Blinds! They should be put out of business of their lack of ethics. read more

I just had blinds installed in my home. I had a good idea of what I wanted and had heard good things about 3 Day Blinds. Making an appointment was easy. My consultant was Karin Bridges. She arrived right on time and started by taking time to understand what I was looking for me and what was important to me. For me, it was screening the glare off of my TV and keeping the room cooler in the summer. Of course I wanted it to look nice as well. I thought I wanted the roller shades but she showed me some honeycomb shades as well. She was very knowledgeable and patient, helping me look through so many choices. The installer arrived at the scheduled time and was very courteous and gave me tips on how to open/shut the blinds for greatest longevity. He was really nice and helpful. While it was very quick to get a sales appointment and the sales representative was quick to bring products to show me, this was not a 3 day process. I specifically indicated that I was interested in motorized blinds that would integrate with my google home app. After waiting over a month for the installation from the time that I ordered the blinds, the installer was unable to connect the Hub [which is required to have the motorized blinds work]. I have made numerous calls and emails to attempt to have the blinds either fixed or removed. No one has attempted to contact me or address my concerns. Apparently there is a third party company that does the installation and they indicated that this is a recurring issue with 3 Day Blinds. It took 33 days from contract to install. The production and installation were a disaster. I'm left with blinds that don't fit the windows, pulls to open that get tangled in the blinds, blinds that fall out of the window, and blinds that are crooked. My contract was $17k. I told the design consultant that I wanted the type of shade that you can just push up with 1 finger because our daughter is autistic and would break the kind that you have to pull down first. She assured us that this was the type of shade that she was ordering for us. Well, they just got installed and you have to pull them down to get them to go up. I called the design consultant and all she did was apologize. When she was here, she said that she knew the competition. Yet, she did not know that Blinds to Go has blinds that you can lift up with 1 finger. We spent a lot of money to end up getting what we did not want. I wanted to love the service that I received from 3 Day Blinds, but unfortunately, the only thing I ended up liking is the blinds themselves. Service-wise, the service team messed up my order not once, not twice, but three times. Each time they came out, they brought the wrong part. Once is understandable, but three times? C'mon. I commute to and from work, and I had to put time off aside to be able to be home each time that they came out. Imagine how I felt each time hearing "We got the wrong part again. Sorry. We'll need to reschedule again." This costed me time, money, and put a strain on my job. On the third visit, the technician dropped 3 screws and forgot to pick them up upon leaving. I only noticed this when my 10-month-old, who crawls and is very curious, found one before I did and was about to put it into his mouth. I then started checking for more, and I found the other two around where the work was being done in my home. There was total miscommunication between their call center, the service technicians, and the warehouse/purchasing team that was supposed to supply the right part. I don't recommend 3-Day Blinds. Absolute WORST COMPANY! Ordered blinds on Jan. 4th. They promptly charged our credit card almost $2,000 with installation scheduled in February. Next they delayed the install until March. Install was done incorrectly, installer said the blinds were made incorrectly. Numerous calls/emails to Sales Manager were never returned, and when they finally returned our calls they set up a new install date in April. Again, a NO SHOW. Today is May 7th and we still DO NOT have blinds!! They have made countless appointments and NEVER show up OR call. I ordered roller blinds from 3 day Blinds. The service representative took the order and made suggestions. One of the recommendations was to install darker blinds in the bedrooms. That was a mistake as they are way too dark, heavier and cannot be operated by remote. I have spent literally hours on the phone trying to reach their "Customer Service Department" and finally gave up. I have since written two emails and still no response. The roller blinds installed were much more expensive than their name implies, but work very well. However, in my case where I need to change two of the bedroom blinds, the after service is just AWFUL and FRUSTRATING. They really need to improve their customer service to satisfy their customers.
