    3 Day Blinds came to our home in October 2019. The first installer came from Tri State Installation in Elmhurst in mid November. The person was polite but didn't have all the parts so they had to reorder them. Next installer from Tri State Installation comes and is confused, puts things in incorrectly, and says he has to come back. The company, Tri State Installation doesn't respond to calls or will call a wrong number. They didn't come in January. Had to call them back in February. Finally have somebody come out at the end of March. The installer was polite, knowledgeable, and was doing great but the materials were wrong. Two weeks go by and I don't hear from them. I call Tri State Installation and they have a new person named Justin, who apologizes and promises to get people out there when it is safe. I ask him to please get back to me as soon as installers can work again. He says he will. Another month passes, I call and speak to Justin. He is confused by his paperwork and says he will call me back. I tell him I'm going to a meeting but to feel free to leave a message if I don't pick up. No callback. A week later I call and speak to another person, a female. Same thing, we will call you back. Another week goes by and nothing. At this time I'm upset. It's May and the roller shades I ordered in October are still not installed. I get ahold of Jeff, who is the head of Tri State Installation. He informs me that his employees did their job perfectly. When I asked him if the work they did would be acceptable in his house, he said no. He told me it was my responsibility to call 3 Day Blinds and hung up the phone on me. I called 3 Day Blinds and spoke to Carolina. She was polite and empathized with my situation. Didn't not hear back for more than a week. Called 3 Day again and spoke to Wendell. He found the order and contacted Tri State Installation. They said they might receive my order on June 16th but couldn't install them in until June 19th and were blaming FedEx because of shipping. I said I would like to speak to Tri State to confirm. I contacted them and they said they couldn't do it any earlier because other customers had installations scheduled. They refused to install after 6 pm. When I told them that was unacceptable, they hung up the phone. I called back, Jeff told me that his employee was, "In the shitter" and proceed to yell at me saying he is canceling my order and hangs up the phone. To summarize, 3 Day Blinds talks a great game, has beautiful products, and has a customer service group that is polite. 3 Day Blinds installation contractors are unprofessional, rude, and have horrible customer service. At no point during my eight month ordeal did I have anyone follow up with me. I am so disappointed in their work. If you are looking for blinds, I cannot recommend them. Update on June 11, 2020: 3 Day Blinds leave a comment about contacting me but has yet to do so. When they do, I'll repost to this review. Update on June 13, 2020: Still no answer from 3 Day Blinds. They talk a great game but do not follow through. Update on June 29, 2020. Still no answer from 3 Day Blinds. My blinds did get installed but I had to do all the ground. After 9 months I finally have blinds. Thanks 3 Day Blinds for wasting my time.

    Trim completely popped out and fell to the floor.

    If negative stars were an option that is what I would give. Absolutely terrible buying experience. We previously did business with Eddie Z's and apparently 3 day blinds bought them since our last job. 3 day blinds turned into 3 month blinds. We ordered our plantation shutters in May and they were poorly installed in August. The corners are either cut too short or too long and do not create a 90 degree angle. The trim is actually falling to the floor. I reached out to customer service to request a reinstall. Have not heard back on a service date since then and that was nearly 3 weeks ago. Our design consultant indicated we are in queue. That means nothing as we don't know anything more and our window coverings.

After a summer of fixing things and…read morea bathroom renovation I was reading to stop pouring money into my house...and then my kids blinds ALL broke at the same time. On top of that I decided our old window treatments weren't quite right for our new gorgeous bathroom so reached out to my trust decorator for recommendations. She said she's had nothing, but great experiences with Gotcha Covered...and looks like (based on the stellar reviews) that many yelpers agree. I called last Monday and found time on a Saturday morning for a sales rep (Jay) to stop by. Saturdays are ideal for my work schedule, although when he stopped by at 10am I had 3 kids I had to kick out of their rooms (especially the teenager) so he walked into a bit of craziness, but didn't seem bothered by it. Within an hour we chose hunter douglas room darkening shades for my kids rooms, as well as a custom made silhouette window shade for our bathroom. My decorator facetimed to help us pick a color and fabric for the window, which ended up being a quick 5 min call. We were able to match all the shades to the existing trim in all the rooms and then Jay was off. Jay promised a quote by Monday, but delivered it Saturday afternoon. While pricey it ended up being much less than I expected (also included a designer referral discount) and I"m really happy with everything we ordered. I did think about shopping around, but decided to just go with Gotcha Covered based on the stellar reviews, great service from Jay and the price seemed fair (even chatgpt agreed :)). They required a 50% deposit to place the order and promised to deliver/install in 4-6 weeks. I'll update my review after installation, but I'm happy so far!
