I just had a miserable customer experience with Kurt, who is rude, impatient, arrogant, disrespectful, and used abusive language in his replies (ass, dishonest, thief etc.). NO ONE is worth such treatment as a customer. I had a premium cordless blind to be repaired. This business, and the other one in the Naperville area, are the only 2 "certified" vendors to repair it. I first found this Ogden Blinds, but it is not a normal store, instead is a house address, suspicious already. Then I called the other certified vendor, who is VERY nice and patient, but they are further away from me. So I called this Ogden Blinds as this is the only option now. In a short 2 minutes call, Kurt already showed his disrespectful and impatience to customers. He thought me, as the first time customer, should already know how this home based business should run in terms of transaction details. Had to swallow his attitude as this is now the only option. Then, later, during couple text messages regarding how to drop off and payment etc., he remained arrogant, to the point he left a voice message with very abusive language. As a person and customer, if one wants to experience what a miserable customer service attitude is in this modern world, this would be a textbook example. The premium blind brand should seriously audit the customer experience quality with this vendor. This has to do with this brand's reputation. I don't need any "thank you for your feedback etc." from this business. Kurt's arrogance and rudeness apparently is the secret sauce to fulfill Ogden Blinds' business goals.

Why does everything in a house start breaking at the same time? After a summer of fixing things and…read morea bathroom renovation I was reading to stop pouring money into my house...and then my kids blinds ALL broke at the same time. On top of that I decided our old window treatments weren't quite right for our new gorgeous bathroom so reached out to my trust decorator for recommendations. She said she's had nothing, but great experiences with Gotcha Covered...and looks like (based on the stellar reviews) that many yelpers agree. I called last Monday and found time on a Saturday morning for a sales rep (Jay) to stop by. Saturdays are ideal for my work schedule, although when he stopped by at 10am I had 3 kids I had to kick out of their rooms (especially the teenager) so he walked into a bit of craziness, but didn't seem bothered by it. Within an hour we chose hunter douglas room darkening shades for my kids rooms, as well as a custom made silhouette window shade for our bathroom. My decorator facetimed to help us pick a color and fabric for the window, which ended up being a quick 5 min call. We were able to match all the shades to the existing trim in all the rooms and then Jay was off. Jay promised a quote by Monday, but delivered it Saturday afternoon. While pricey it ended up being much less than I expected (also included a designer referral discount) and I"m really happy with everything we ordered. I did think about shopping around, but decided to just go with Gotcha Covered based on the stellar reviews, great service from Jay and the price seemed fair (even chatgpt agreed :)). They required a 50% deposit to place the order and promised to deliver/install in 4-6 weeks. I'll update my review after installation, but I'm happy so far!

I had a very disappointing experience with 3 Day Blinds. I…read morewas quoted about $3,500 by Design consultant Lori StClair for (8) eight honeycomb shades, with promotions like "Buy One Get One 50% Off" and a "Friends & Family" discount. However, when I reviewed the contract, there was no clear, line-by-line breakdown showing how those discounts were actually applied to each window. The pricing felt inconsistent and difficult to follow. Just noting discounts applied. To what? From where? A concern as well was a $695 "packaging and handling" fee, which seemed unusually high and was never clearly explained. I reached out multiple times--called, texted, and spoke with customer service--asking for a detailed breakdown. Customer service said they couldn't explain the pricing beyond what I already saw, and the sales associate referred me back to the contract & design consultant without providing clarification. Despite my questions still being unresolved, I was contacted by an installer to schedule installation, which felt rushed given I didn't fully understand the charges. Because of the lack of transparency and communication, I chose to cancel within my 3 day contract window. If you're considering 3 Day Blinds, I strongly recommend asking for a clear, itemized breakdown of all pricing, discounts, and fees before signing moving forward. You should definitely know the prices and be able to see clear discounts or else it's just smoke & mirrors.

Recharging often does not work and the chargers we received are all different. They also pulled a switch on us changing an order and would not fix without a charge.
