Almost a month later, still no supplies. 3 Day Blinds said supplies were sent to their sister company Simple Shades, who will do the repairs. Simple Shades said they have not receieved supplies "String". This operation sounds like a company that may go out of business soon. After all my phone calls, to both company, our blind is still broken. It is being held up with my daughters La Crosse stick. I have received 3 case numbers. This is our third house in the last 17 years. Each time we have used 3 Day Blinds. Each time we have been incredibly pleased. We contacted Jeanette, the representative who worked with us in our last house seven years ago. She came out to our new home, measured, and made recommendations. And being that our order was crossing the holiday season, and the problems with supply chain issues, we were very worried that there would be a long delay in getting our new window treatments. Jeanine gave us a window of time for when we would expect to have the installation. The installation came today, well within the window that she had promised. The installers came on time, calling before they came. a team of three did a professional job. The window treatments look wonderful. If you read my initial review you will notice 3 day blinds contacted me on yelp and requested I send them my invoice number so they could help solve my issues. I sent them all the order numbers I had. It's been 13 days and I have heard nothing from them. I can only assume they have either forgotten about me or don't care about me. This is one more example of the poor customer service you can expect from 3 day blinds. **updated 4/13/23** 3 day blinds continues to post notifications on this website stating they will reach out to me to solve my issues. Was a bit worried about my order. Norman shutters are made in China! Christine gave me a verbal 8 week time line but the contract had a 12 week install date! I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised that everything was on time right in the middle of a pandemic and it all looks great and fit perfectly! The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that honestly the price is on the high side.. We paid for good quality blinds. Now they are broken and 3 Day Blinds are not replacing the parts of our expensive blinds. I can understand how there's a supply shortage right now, but months on end without functioning blinds is a real problem for safety and security. Definitely do not choose three day blinds. Had $2600 in blinds installed April 2009. This September 2015, I noticed 7 slats were warped or wavy. I called 3 day and after arguing with them on my warranty, they finally sent someone out to replace them in October. He said he's never seen anything like that before! 2 weeks ago, I noticed the same 7 slats are warped AGAIN!! They believe it is from extreme heat against the window. I live in Oxnard and we don't get extreme heat!! Update: 4-22, I called 3 day blinds and they will honor my warranty again, not charge for the slats BUT will charge me $85 to install! UPDATE: 4/25, received a call, VERY apologetic and will refund my fee and will order me a whole new set of blinds!! The window has 2 blinds on 1 track. UPDATE: 5/5, Received a new set of blinds. The replaced both blinds! VERY satisfied this time around. Thank you Chris Amber!!! I would NOT recommend faux wood blinds if your window attracts any kind of heat.. read more

Re-stringing per blind (size 4'X3') was $ 200/blind + $85 for the installer to drive to our home to re-mount them. After restringing blinds, they seemed to work fine. But noticed rubbing when pulling cord to open. It felt and sounded like the cord was rubbing on the lock assembly. Called 3 day blind to have them checked. They would arrainge an appoinmtment for another $85. Products are good but don't be surprised what the cost for repairs are. read more

I ordered $12k worth of blinds. When they installed the mechanism to open it is so slow that it's almost embarrassing. The rep was humiliated but said oh well. I called to change reps and they did give me a trade for those. I was very happy until my trade never came. Someone called to tell me they are looking for them and then never called back either. Two weeks later (one month after the reorder) the rep calls to find out how my new blinds are? (She did not know they never installed and lost them) I definitely would never use again. read more

After a one month appointment scheduling process, I planned my day for their "consultant" to arrive. After waiting for 1 1/2 hours after the scheduled appointment I called to verify they were in process of visiting. It wasn't until that call that the secretary informed me the consultant had called her boss and was not reporting for work. Very poor follow up here. Even after this debacle the operator couldn't schedule another visit for one month . I indicated there was no sense in going forward. Very poor communication and service here. read more

I got 3 different bids, and decided on 3 Day Blinds because the service, professionalism and price were far superior to any of the other bids. I never felt pressured to buy anything, but truly felt she was listening to my concerns and worked within my budget. A few days later, one of their installers came out to double check the measurements and go over all the details. This is the worst company ever. Ordered a complete house Faux Wood Blind installation in early September. It is now 12/26/17 and they still have not completed the installation. In the initial installation they mis-measured the valences and promised to replace within a week, they also damaged my bedroom window leaving it in condition that the window cannot be opened or closed fully. They have also been promising my vertical blinds for my sliders since early October. I have asked them to complete installation and repair my bedroom window many times since early October. The email trail is a joke. They have assigned 5 different customer service associates to my case and as soon as I come to an agreement with one they assigned another and had to start over. I had to dispute my credit card payment and take them to small claims court. I would never even consider doing business with 3 Day Blinds again. read more

What a disappointment. I called them because their website said they carried Hunter Douglas. When the rep arrived she said that they didn't but assured me their faux blinds were far superior. She said she was in interior design for 18 years. Being the trusting person that I am I decided to place an order for the blinds and roller shades for my patio door. She measured and wrote the order. Then I was asked to pay the entire order up front. Against my better judgement, I gave her my credit card. Later found out this was not required. Two strikes against the rep. Two weeks later the installer arrived. The installer was wonderful and very professional. He couldn't install the roller shades because she measured incorrectly and they didn't fit. There was too much of a gap between the faux blinds in the master (three blinds on one window) and the valance was missing for the other bedroom. I could go on with the other problems. Each time an installer came there was another problem until the company got it right (no fault of the installers.) It took over 2 months for everything to be corrected and much frustration. I am not happy with the quality of the blinds. They are very light and cheap looking. not at all like the Hunter Douglas I have in the rest of my house. Although I received some compensation I am not happy. Would never use them again. read more

Horrible Experience. First they screwed up and made a kitchen blind wrong. Their installer put it in anyway, knowing it was wrong. After numerous calls to their office they finally came out to take it down, they put up white paper in our window, and for 3 painful weeks we have been trying to get our replacement blind back. They make promises that they don't keep. Numerous times their San Diego main office lies to us, telling us they will call back with answers and never call. We have spent hours trying to get our repaired blind back and we have only receive lies and broken promises. They have lost our business forever and we hope Yelp readers don't make the mistake of doing business with these people. read more

She ordered the wrong color wood blinds and when I tried to reach her, she would not return my call. Great sales ethic. I finally had to go over her head to get this resolved. Fortunately her supervisor replaced the blinds at no charge. So yes, I highly recommend 3-Day Blinds but if you want to avoid an unethical, horrible person, make sure your sales rep IS NOT SUZANNE STYLES. I have just had my window shades from 3-Day blinds installed - I am very pleased with the results. The 3-Day Blinds consultant, Linda Martin, arrived on time for her appointment. She listened to me explain what I was looking for, helped me pick the appropriate shades, helped me pick appropriate colors to blend with the room décor, measured each window, and within an hour I had completed my order for windows shades for all my windows. I have a hard time making those final color choices but I felt confident about my choices because the consultant, Linda, asked questions to help me figure out what would suit my needs best. I chose to not rush my order, which saved me money, and I had a coupon to help me save more. As it was, my blinds were ready within a week. The installation department found a date that worked for me. The installer arrived at the early part of the appointment window. He was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He had no difficulty removing my old window treatments and installing the new ones. He made sure we knew how to operate the new shades and answered our questions. He also hauled away the old window shades. He was here and gone promptly. We are happy with our new window treatments and were treated well by the consultant, the installation appointment desk and the installer. Good service and good product. read more

I ordered my 3 days blinds and I was to install them myself. The blinds came with only screws and NO directions on how to install. The blinds did not have brackets or any type of hardware. I guess my first warning should have been when a big yellow sticker on the box, "Says make sure you check for hardware." Anyway, I call 3Day blinds Customer service and the CS person tells me that I will need to talk to a case worker and wait 2 business days for a response. I waited. Three days later I get a call from a case worker telling me they only provide screws and nothing else is needed to install my Roman Shades! I've never had this type of experience with blinds. I've always been provided hardware. 3 Day blind's product and service needs work. Having had purchase experience elsewhere at three others places: Ethan Allen, Home Depot and Pottery Barn, those places provided brackets for Roman shade installs! Oh and when I purchased the blinds from the Rep. Christine she told me that installing the blinds would be easy and I explained what I had gotten Roman Shades from Pottery Barn in the past and they provided hardware brackets and she told me,"yes we have the same thing." Wrong! 3 day blinds only provided flat head screws. At least they could had provided Phillip screw heads, but NO they didn't. Lesson learned... the 3 other companies mentioned are far better customer service wise and in their product. I ended up with a subpar product and having to purchase brackets to install my Roman Shades. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY! I've had 3 day blinds seating on my sofa for a week now. I signed away so I can't return them. So please don't make my mistake save yourself the money and headache! read more

Follow-up to my previous review. After 30 e-mails (14 from me, 16 from customer service rep) and 5 weeks, my issue has finally been resolved. My initial review got the attention of the Customer Service group at 3 Day Blinds, and I worked with a representative to try to get the pull cord fixed. After 1 week, I was notified the shade was repaired and I picked it up. It had been repaired improperly with a pull cord that was too long. After waiting almost 3 weeks for the local repair person to contact me to fix the cord, I asked the customer service rep to replace the shade (which he had indicated would be done if the initial issue was not fixed within a week). The new shade has arrived and been installed, and the case has been closed. While I appreciate the customer service rep that worked with me to get the issue resolved, I cannot in good conscience change my score as I do not think a pull cord replacement should have taken this long or required this much of my time or even had to be handled with a replacement shade. I do need a new shade for another window and will be looking elsewhere to purchase this shade. read more
