When I told my daughter we could just rent that day and buy boots when we returned home, he essentially kicked us out of his store. I've never been treated so rudely. I should have read the reviews first because it's clear he has treated others the same way. He needs to sell this store and retire because clearly customer service is not his thing! Amazing customer service. Great prices…read more When it comes to snowboarding and getting all your stuff together to finally get up on the mountain it can get pretty pricey. I checked two other spots before coming over to Dunnett. The staff was much friendlier and much more engaged with wanting to service us than the other locations we went to. The prices for rentals were about $15-20 cheaper. You can hold on to your equipment for multiple days and you can drop off before 6pm on the last day. We rented 2 pairs of snowboarding boots, a snowboard and 2 helmets for 2 days. Total was about $80. The gentleman in the location even met us at our car to collect the boots. I would have given them 5 stars but I have a very common shoe size so I had to settle for the last pair available...and one of the boots I was given was a bit worn out. Aside from that I was very pleased with my experience at Dunnett and will definitely be coming back for rentals next season.

Four of us came in from out of town to ride this weekend and one bike had an issue with the pedal and crank threads. This store was the only store who had the helicoil thread repair we needed in stock but they were too backed up in their service department to work on the bike same day. We asked instead if we could buy the part we needed and take it to another store who had capacity to fix it today. They refused to sell us the part. We even offered to buy the part and pay for an hour of labor without them needing to do the labor to compensate them for their time. They still refused and when they saw how disappointed we were they smiled and said have a nice day as we were leaving as if to say how happy they were that they would not help us get back on the mountain today. Btw, the woman we were talking to said she was the manager so this wasn't a case of just an ill advised employee but rather just bad management decision. Advice to the owner and management of this store: try harder. Customer service is important. You should care more about your customers. Needless to say, we won't be going back to this store. I would not advise that you do either. Unless bad customer service is what you are seeking.
