I ordered a Gyro, a plain gyro, Chicago dog, they whipped together some gyro fries custom for me. I thought everything was excellent, looked very clean inside, chill atmosphere, the girl at the counter was very polite and attentive. Cook was fast and accurate and made an off-menu item. Poor customer service. We used Grubhub to get our food. When it arrived half the order was missing. Neither of the 2 phone numbers online work for 3 Greeks. We drove over to get the rest of the food and we're told the driver must have stole it. Oh well! They didn't care and said their phones were off for a reason. I used to go to this business all the time, but the last few times the food was down right DISGUSTING! The soup was brown an old literally days old! The gyros were undercooked despite me asking for well done. Even the Tsake sa use (white sauce with gyros) looked & tasted like tarter sauce! This used to be my top spot in portage but as of today I will never be back. They messed up my order twice in a row. First time I let it slide - didn't call/say anything. Accidents happen. I called back the second time it happened though. They forgot part of my order so I had to drive back to pick it up. I asked if they'd be able to accommodate me for driving back since THEY messed up and he rudely said "nope can't do that". I asked for a $2 cup of soup but apparently that was asking too much LOL. Very greasy. Small pieces of meat. Not a lot for 7 bucks. The pop machine was messed up. 4 people working yet the sidewalk needed shoveled. Not a good value id choose king gyros in Valparaiso over this any day of the week. Also 5.89 for 2 hot dogs with fries is a bit much. They need to cook there gyros meat better. The WORST food I've ever had! The grilled chicken was so hard you couldn't bite into it. I ordered a Italian Beef and received a sandwich that had what looked like BBQ beef with onions, peppers, jalapeños, and some things I didn't know what it was. They directed me back to DoorDash saying I'd receive my money back, but no I got a $2.15 credit for a $24.00 order (2 sandwiches 1 20oz? Sprite) that went straight in the trash. Everyone is hating on the Gyros. This is the only place where I feel comfortable eating gyros. Most gyro places are dirty and greasy. You can tell 3 Greeeks takes pride in cleanliness and they even refrigerate the ketchup! I always get the gyro plate which comes with fries, two pitas, tomato, onion, feta and tzitaki sauce. Its more than enough to share with someone and still be full! And the plate is only about $10. Plus, Vienna Beef hot dogs are the best. read more

Just ate there today and was not the least bit disappointed. The staff was very friendly, especially Dora, the woman who took our orders. Restaurant was clean. Portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. Homemade gyros sauce was delicious! Also tried their Chicago style hot dogs, and needless to say I was skeptical. Been burned way too many times by poorly made dogs in this area. This place gets them right! Best I've had outside of Illinois. I can't wait to go back and try their beef sandwiches. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because my heart belongs to some of my childhood haunts back in the city, but I will definitely be going back for more. :) read more

Very fast and friendly service.. The gyro plate had a generous amount of gyro meat and fries.. The tomatoes and onions were fresh.. But my favorite was the pita bread.. Kinda crispy on the outside but nice and soft in the center.. Excellent! read more

My wife and I visited for the first time on Saturday and we were very pleased with the experience. It is 'fast food' but they have an interesting menu which includes your standard burgers and hot dogs, but also catfish, chicken wings, Philly steak, and kabobs. My wife had the Philly cheese-steak with fries and I ordered the Gyro. The portions were generous! My wife's order of fries were enough to feed two. They were Krinkle-cut, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, just the way she likes them. They were probably her favorite part of the meal! She also really like the Tsadziki sauce on my Gyro so I ordered her a side to dip her fries in. The price is a bit higher than standard fast food, but again the portions are large. Can't wait to go back and try some other items. They also deliver! read more

I keep giving this place a shot because the Greek half chicken is good. If the name of the place has "Greek" in it, then the gyro better be nailed! Mine had big chunks of meat, not thin slices. It may have just been the one I got, but a little more pride in the gyro is all I ask. I have also had gyros at other places that would shave it and then throw it on the flattop to crisp it up a bit. I want this place to succeed so hopefully they keep their standards where they were when they first opened. read more

Nickys Gyros is HORRIBLE, I dont know who said its a staple! I prefer PHILLY CHEESESTEAK and Lemonade in Hobart.......but this place is pretty good! Very friendly staff the counter person was very good with satisfying what I wanted, i wanted leaf lettuce instead of shredded, I know...I am weird LOL. come here quite often..food is good, just a little bit pricey..i haven't seen any daily specials as other places..just remember to check your phone orders, because i was charged for fries and did not order them..Ask at the register, two different people serves you, 1 when calling it in and another at check out...This happened to me twice..I order sandwiches and not the $1.00 extra for fries and was charged both time for them when i picked up my order...gotta watch for that.. read more
