We got some Chicago dogs, chili dogs and a couple polish. The Chicago dogs were real good but the peppers were hidden. They slid into the relish. My wife did not like biting into the pepper after looking g for it to remove. They were delicious though. The chili dogs were good. The polish were the best though. They cut the polish down the middle and fried them until burnt a little. Then when they put the polish into the bun, they filled the cut area with mustard and topped it with caramelized onions. It was very tasty!!! We also used them to deliver to our home. It was only $3 compared to Uber eats or other food delivery services. We got our order quick too. So we are from out of town.. First thing that struck me is the naming and sign is very confusing- we were looking for Nicky's Gyros based on the Yelp- but from the road it's called Lure- so not sure what that's really about. The place in whole is clean from the looks of everything- it seems like this is more of a carry out place as the dinning room was empty. We carried out as well- I ordered a Gyro- meat was very tender and yummy. My husband got a bacon cheeseburger and loved it- he says better than most fast food places- we also both got fries... Like many we stayed at Holiday Inn within walking Sign says burgers but they have a lot to choose from. Very good Gyros as others reported. Atmosphere was clean inside and good yet it's a shame owner isn't caring for the outside. Use some Round Up on all the vegetation growing in the cracks, clean up and now the lawn and they would likely get more business. Nickys gyros was down the street at a smaller location years ago. Like any start up restaurant they start out like gangbusters, put out really good food, care about quality, service, and usually leave a good impression that makes you come back. Unfortunately that's the past for Nicky's Gyros. I've eaten here a few times and I haven't necessarily been really impressed but it was good. It's a typical, gyro, French fries, hot dog spot-they don't specialize in anything they just serve everything. I normally wouldn't review a place like this for that very reason, there's no need to tell people about hot dogs, French fries, and gyros. One thing they can impress in is service, and quality! This is probably my favorite taco joint in town. It may have a bit of a bad location on route 20, but it has amazing food. I personally love the tacos here, and would rate them a 10/10. One thing that I don't always like though is that the television is always on, so it's more difficult to have conversations with the people that you are there with. While we were eating two more people came in to order food to go. They were very obviously regulars. My husband and I both ordered the gyro with fries ($4.75 each). The servings were very generous. Rarely had any issues then about 2 months ago I wasn't receiving what I ordered even tho I was very specific and the girl taking my phone order (who clearly is either distracted easily or just refuses to care and be professional) repeated my order back to me. Patronize this business a lot from my place of employment for lunch. A lot of employees do. The food is already not that great. I tip the drivers every time they deliver my food. I've paid many ways including with big bills as high as a $50 bill. Today I stood in the cold in front of my job arguing with the driver telling me my $50 was fake but never once did she check it. & we all know there is various ways to check the authenticity of bills. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I called Nicky's only to be told "what do you want me to do? We don't have anything to do with our drivers!" We all know that is a lie! These people are driving cars with this business logo on the top of the vehicle but yet you're telling me you don't have control over who is delivering YOUR businesses food and driving YOUR business vehicles & also collecting YOUR businesses money. I had a very bad experience, I ordered 3 beef tacos and received 3 steak tacos. Once I got to work I looked at my food and noticed the steak tacos and I called and spoke to the girl that took my order and she confirmed the cooks made a mistake once she asked them , so o asked for a manager to credit me for my tacos , he was very rude and told me we all are human and make mistakes. What a hole! This place use to be good. Went on a rainy night and water was dripping from the ceiling everywhere. Of all the tables in the place 2 were clean. Ice was empty at the machine and the girl behind the counter was acting like she didn't notice! Took 5 mins just to get some ice. But little did I know I didn't even need ice.
