Birria tacos
Kenedy E.

OMGGGG came here after work and let me just say WOW. I got the birria tacos and when I say the meat was so tender and marinated so well I couch believe it. I don't know how they're cooking there meat if it's grilled or bbq but I'm giving this place a 10/10!

Amazing Service & amazing food! Made from 0 to your table in minutes! Great location available almost all day! Welcoming environment and chill staff.

5 stars and super cheap! I was in Dallas for a few days and went here 4 times. Super friendly staff too.

This place is delicious! Love the chicken tacos with flour and corn. The green salsa is good and I do recommend ordering jalapeños on the side- worth it. No free water offered though so bring a drink if you don't want to buy a drink.

The outside

They were very nice. Didn't take long and worth it. I got two tacos de cabeza and a horchata. Tan bella I would come back again

Salsas great taste

Finding good Mexican food in this side of Dallas can be hard. Not alot of businesses invest because of the low income area. The former restaurant don taco was great but lack customer service. Al Chile taqueria came and took a chance which I am greatly happy for it's initiation. I visited this location on Polk on a Friday night. One can tell they are just open for business and many things to be done. Upon arrival we had to order at the window. We were greeted in a good manner and we ask to see a menu. Wish we could of taken a picture of it. They have tortas, tacos, quesadillas, and birria tacos. no veggie options at the moment. I decided to try the birria tacos. I can assure you that the price on their printed menu was 11.50 exactly. So I said hmm okay not cheap but lets try them. Presentation: decent and clean. They added good napkins. Taste: really good taste, both their salsas are good. Moderate spicy. Downs The price I was charge was different and that is a big no!! They charge me a dollar more than the advertisement price. Then added a delivery fee which I drove and pick at the drive thru. That brings it down a full star. I know ya are new and trying to profit. But inconsistency like this are not wanted here. There will be old customers that will give u a try but please be transparent. Another down the amount of food was ridiculous small compare to the 14.00 plate. Not worth the money especially since the 'tranzas'. I wish you the best of luck but please don't treat your customers off by charging more and thinking we can't see it. No todos somos mensos o paisas and can catch bad business habits. The food taste really good. But the price is too much for how little we get back. Also the birria tacos were so so so tiny. 2 bites and they were gone.

I'll skip the pastor and chicken quesadilla next time, and try and get the birria tacos if I'm there on a Sunday. I didn't get a picture of churros but they were the best I've ever had. Crunchy and flavorful. Service was fast, but the calling of your name (to pick up the order) is super low. I don't know how my friend heard our name. Ambiance is loud, but I was also there during the Mexico WC game, so that's understandable. The place was lively and fun.

There are multiple locations in DFW, and this review is for the Chilangos in Dallas off of Ross. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - The two Chilangos locations I've been to are both located in strip malls with a bright, neon "Chilangos Tacos" sign above the entrance. Inside, there's reggaeton music, tons of patrons, and ESL here. Once you place your order, grab a Jarritos, a bright red metal seat, and watch the staff cook your tacos to order. 1 Star. Service - The staff are very friendly and efficient. It really helps if you speak Spanish, so go with someone who does, or point to the menu item you want. Once you place your order, grab a seat and wait for your name to be called. The staff is super nice and efficient, and our order was available in about 5 min. 1 Star. Food - Birria Quesatacos with consume. Memorize it and order it. Kudos to my son who swears by this dish. I am now a believer. The tender seasoned shredded birria beef is so flavorful. The quesataco style melts the cheese into the corn tortilla. And when you take some diced onion and cilantro to top it, dunk it in the consume before biting into the most flavorful taco served in DFW. According to the menu, this dish is only available on the weekend, but I've used food deliver services to get my consume fix during the week so YMMV. Bottom line, it's not just the best item on the menu, it's the best taco bite in all of DFW. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. Chilango Tacos is expanding in DFW. There are now multiple locations in all of DFW so there should be a location near you. Chilangos Tacos is now in my weekly rotation. 1 Star.

It's a trendy, energetic pocket of Dallas that I had somehow never explored before, and it immediately caught my attention. The restaurant itself is quite unassuming. If I'm being honest, it didn't exactly scream "come on in." On this particular night, there was only one employee working. It took nearly 10 minutes just to place my order and another 15 minutes before the food arrived. By that point, I was more than a little annoyed. Then the tacos showed up. Talk about a complete plot twist. Not only was everything beautifully presented, but the flavors were absolutely unbelievable. Whenever I visit a taco spot, I like to order a variety so I can get a sense of what they're really capable of. This time it was the al pastor, carne asada, and Baja tacos. One word....incredible. I can't tell you which one was best! I've had great tacos before. I've had places nail one or two selections. But I honestly can't remember the last time three completely different tacos all delivered a perfect punch in a single sitting. Every bite was packed with flavor, expertly balanced, and memorable in its own way. Without question, this was the best taco trio I've ever had. What a roller coaster of a visit. I went from feeling completely ignored and wondering if I'd made a mistake, to wanting to walk back into the kitchen and hug the chef. Sometimes great food doesn't just redeem an experience--it completely rewrites it. The Taco stand is GOATED

The flavor is spot on - the green & red sauce add a good amount of spice to offset the richness of the meat. We also had the street corn which is creamy & delicious. We had a 1/2 lb of Chicherones - they were high quality pork belly - crispy on the edges & fatty in the middle. I prefer the cracklins, but these were delicious. We had 1 other taco entree, but the name escapes me now. I was assured it was also delicious. I definitely recommend this place. I ordered the burrito ranchero and it was absolutely amazing - packed with flavor and perfectly executed. The churros were a bit overdone, but everything else more than made up for it.
