I have given this place so many chances but this past Sunday was the absolute last visit. It's always the same thing...incredibly slow service, music way too loud for brunch and subpar food. It took over 30 minutes to get drinks brought to our table. At brunch time!! I intentionally asked for a table furthest away from the band. We were on the other side of the restaurant and could not carry on a conversation. Again..at brunch time!! We could not speak to each other until the band went on break. So let me begin by saying the food was pretty good. I have to stay strictly gluten-free, so i was able to get a very tasty pizza that met my requirements. Server also mentioned they could had a gluten-free bun available but upon double checking they were out of them so it limited my options We were visiting from Wisconsin and were recommended to try here by our hotel the Marriott across the road. Now for the issues that arose during our visit.. none of these are deal breakers to me but they are things that require keeping an eye on.. first things first the live band definitely on the loud side, we sat across the restaurant from them but it was still on the louder side, be aware if thats not your kind of vibe... second.. server completely forgot about our drinks, got a peach margarita and a soda and after finally reminding our server he brought the margarita but then still somehow forgot my soda.. i then had to step away from the table for a moment and saw our pizzas coming out and once i returned to the table then my soda was there... unsure if my friend reminded him again or if he brought it after the food. This seems to be a bit of a common comment across these reviews so be aware of that also... final issue was the bill, we were charged for the two pizzas, appetizer, my friends margarita and then 2 sodas... which as per above we only had one... NOW, I caught the issue and it was fixed immediately, but this is also a complaint i noticed on some other reviews so while none of these issues are a deal breaker for me i highly suggest you check your bill over closely when it comes and if it seems off speak up. Popped into this spot for a quick happy hour. It's right by the water with a big patio. The happy hour menu has a decent selection. Our server was really nice and attentive. They have live music DAILY so this is a great spot for the music lovers. The regular menu has so many options from brick over pizzas, sandwiches, fill dinners and lots of starters. Then came the food $47 for a cheeseburger and fries, which is beyond outrageous for what was served. This wasn't "upscale," it was highway robbery. The calamari was completely inedible hard as a rock, overcooked to the point of being dry and tough. No one at the table could eat it. When you charge premium prices, the food and service better match. Here, neither did. Overpriced, poorly executed, and careless billing. Won't be back, and definitely wouldn't recommend. read more

We have been here a few times and while it wasn't great, it was not terrible. We stopped by for lunch last week. The restaurant was not really busy. We were sat and waited a bit too long to be greeted. Then 4-5 other tables came in. Our waiter was very forgetful and seemed too busy making sarcastic comments rather than listening to our needs. He said he would ask about a regular menu item that was not on the brunch menu. After he finally came back he said he would ask and then asked what I would want if that was not available. We sat for about 10 minutes and then began noticing that the tables that came in after us were getting their food. Then waiter never came to check on us or let us know the status of our order. After about 35 minutes our food arrived. I said thank you- we were wondering how much longer it would be. His reply was- it will be better because it took longer. WTH! He never refilled our drinks and when the food arrived, I asked for mayonnaise. We proceeded to watch him take care of 3-4 other tables that had already eaten. I waited 10 minutes for him to return with mayo. When he finally did, I stated my food was cold while I waited for the mayo I asked for 10 minutes ago. His reply was that he was busy and that I should have asked for this when I ordered. Who says such rude things to their customers? I was about to blow and told my husband I would wait in the car before I went off onthis server. He was just awful- he was rude, condescending and uncaring. The manager came over and asked if she could box up our food. Why would we want cold food that looked terrible? This experience took up over a hour of our weekend. I feel like the menu has changed significantly since my last dining experience and, in my opinion, for the better. I found a number of dinner options that I found of interest. I settled on the Pork Ribeye and I was not disappointed. The pork was very tender and it was an ample size. The truffle mashed potatoes were very good as well. The honey mustard glaze complimented and enhanced the pork flavor significantly. I will say, however, the vegetables were extremely over cooked and pretty much inedible. It ordered the Clam was a starter and it was OK, but nothing special. Our service was sub standard. The restaurant was very busy and our server disappeared for extended periods of time, to the point where we wanted drink refills and could not find or server. Wow, what a great little outdoor dining place! The only reason that they didn't get a five from us was that the wine they served was being stored at the outside bar and was a tinge fizzy; no bueno. EVERYTHING food was AMAZING! We ordered a few starters- dragon roll, the caprese salad tower, and two fish tacos. The servings were easily shared and delicious. We will definitely be back! Had a great visit here tonight! 'The Jam Rocks" played live and they were GREAT with awesome weather, the ambience was perfect! Had the Chicken Wings/Asian X Well and they were actually crave worthy! Elijah at the front desk, Austin as our server, Marcus as a runner, they all went above and beyond. Watched Austin guide handicapped women from back entrance to the host stand, with care and a smile. Service was stupendous. Music on Thursday, headlined by Doug Deming and the Jewel Tones, provides for foot stomping, dancing and a darn good time. While I liked the presentation of the fried green tomatoes they lacked taste. The Philly cheesesteak was bland and the Asian shrimp wrap was actually done well and the shrimp were fairly good size. We have been here a few times over the past year as it's a convenient place to eat before going to the nearby theatre. Every time I eat here, I look at the menu and wonder why I have come. It's just an odd menu with options that don't see to jive with one another. They have everything from pizza and sandwiches to salmon and bison. There are also salads, soup and appetizers. Service was extremely good throughout our meal, which is so rare these days. Danny was our server and took good care of us. The live music is also a plus for us, but we were glad we were on the opposite side as it was loud. In the end, I ordered the firecracker chicken sandwich. It arrived hot and in a timely manner. The chicken was tender and juicy, the sauce was very good and the bun was fresh. Prices are similar to other restaurants of this type. Stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott next door and they recommended this place for dinner. The hotel itself and restaurant seem to be in a very weird area, almost tucked away a little bit. Once you get there, you will see it sits right on the river walk. There is a nice park, Volleyball, & Skate Park out front that is right on the river. They have outdoor seating and plenty of parking. I ordered the fish and chips and it was exactly what I was looking for being in Florida. Not too much breading and BIG pieces of fresh fish. The rest of the food coming out of the kitchen looked good. We came in around 6:45pm & sat at the bar. They had happy hour till 7. Service overall was great and the food came out extremely fast. Food was ok..& I took my chances on grouper fish and chips....DO NOT GET THIS....it is NOT worth $29.. It at best a $9 meal. It's not tasty.. lots of fried batter. 2 pieces of fish and lots of fries... ( The fries are decent,,- sort of). The other dish we got was the grouper piccata.
