Went to this place after a comedy show at the laugh factory and was told they were charging and entrance fee, when there's a sign and the website states there's no cover charge before 9:30pm. I was there before 9:30pm, the security padded me down and said there was no charge but then the host said there was a charge and stated it was free before 9:15pm.. wtf !! On my first night out in Covina ever and we came here on a Saturday night. There was a cover at the door after waiting in line for the longest time. When we finally did get in, the inside bar area was overly crowded on all sides with just two bartenders. This is the worst setup you can have with the number of people here. This is a review for their Wednesday night dance class with Erika. I think the cover fee is worth it. Great group, not intimidating at all to take the class with. Very nice people. I went there on my own for my birthday last week and made such a great memory. I had a great time and it was nostalgic. The instructor was the kindest and funnest one I've taken a class with in a long time. She did half a salsa class and half a bachata class. She went out of her way to make a great memory for me on my birthday. I'm grateful for that. The ambience is always fun here, DJ Robbie is a great dj. I was at 3Vinos on Jan 6. I bought a glass of wine which cost $13.76 with tax. I gave the bartender a $2 tip and signed the bill. Turns out I had a charge on my bank account for $18.76. The bartender might have wanted more. I don't know. I called and spoke to a women and I gave her a picture of the receipt and a pic of the charge on my bank account in the amount of $18.76. She was going to call me back but I never heard from anyone. I've called two times but still no response. It seems that the management does not care that the customers are getting ripped off. It's not a lot of money but the point is why is it okay. Be careful out there and use cash if you can. read more

We recently got a VIP area upstairs. The package included reserved lounge area, personal server, and appetizer platter. That part was well worth it. The server was on it, it never took her long to come back and check on us, and we never had to send a drink back. My only complaint is that I would really like to see management consider the lost Gen X business. So many of us crave a place that plays disco/funk music from the late 70's and up through the 80's, heck even some 90's! When we were there, there was a lot of bachata, cumbia, and reggaeton, even though it was advertised as a top 40's DJ night. Most of the songs were in Spanish and later on the evening they all were. Not big on writing reviews but I'll give this one a shot.. Went to new restaurant last night with my wife for dinner and a few drinks. Take my experience with a grain of salt and I think everyone should try this place out for themselves. Our overall experience is was very pleasant. Service- Very pleasant. From the front door to when we paid our check and left, all staff ( especially our waitress) were very friendly. Ambiance- welcoming appearance. Patio area looks great, the bar area is warm and pops, and the music is great. You'll be there for an hour without even knowing it. Food- Presentation and portions were very nice but we weren't very impressed with the food that night. First run out our meals came in undercooked, some food partially frozen. I was there three weeks ago on a Friday evening with my wife and another couple hadn't been in a while so we decided to stop. Ordered drinks and stayed for a while. At the end the bill came I was handed their mobile device to pay with a suggestion on the device to add tip. I did big mistake. Gratuity was already included and I then realized they had charged me for drinks we did not order. I reached out and a lady name Rosanna was very difficult.the discrepancy was 72.00 she offered 30 dollars cash and I would have to pickup. I've been here couple times for the night club. Last night, me and my mom came at 730 pm to try the food and it was amazing. The live music was playing an older, slower beats latin music to the beat of Samba, and it progresses to a faster beats to the rhythm of bachata, salsa. And at 1015 PM, it switched DJ playing more of Pitbull type of latin music. The food taste and price are decent, the drinks are good price and strong, and when after 1015 PM, they sell street Tacos, quesadilla for a decent price ($2 each or something similar). There's no cover charge, the waitresses, bartenders are polite and friendly and I spotted 2 (or 3) security guards. Its fun, its dressy-casual, and its in the neighborhood. read more

Stopped by the location and spoke to the manager who was completely uninterested and useless with assisting. "Do you have the receipt?" ...No, I don't have the receipt to a purchase I didn't make. Check your damn POS system to see what the additional charge was for. Interesting enough, my bank stated that the fraudulent transaction was actually charged first seconds before the correct amount. This can very well be an accident that they used my card to pay for another table. However, their lack of support in correcting the issue is what is frustrating. If you scroll through the comments it's clear they constantly double charge or over charges guests. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. read more

I hear that they are struggling with squatters and are therefore currently not open. I wish this business the best of luck reopening and with their legal battles. Came here after a comedy show down the street. We were two couples and it was Sunday night. The venue has a bit of a weird layout but overall it was okay. This top floor is a club and they were playing nothing but salsa and merengue type music. A lot of people switched dancing partners so I assume they knew each other from possibly a dance class. It was a good vibe if you like that style music. The age range was probably 30s and 40s. We enjoyed the music the little while we were there but the drinks were not great. I booked the VIP treatment on 9/30/23 for my mom's b day and the whole experience was more than i expected. We haven't been to 3Vinos since Pre- Covid so i didn't know what to expect. The event planner Diana is very professional, personable and made the whole experience run smoothly and met my expectations. Diana made me feel like she was really invested in making my mom's birthday perfect. The whole upstairs vibe is on point, the DJ was good, the appetizers were way better than i anticipated.
