Hard to believe this place is not packed every night. We went and saw a band there and they were amazing, Nashville quality. We did some line dancing and had a overall great time. As the night goes on it fills up with a younger drinking crowd but still a fun place. It's part of a larger complex so I'm sure people go from one club to the other. read more

I used to come here every weekend and it was my favorite spot. I got a VIP pass 3 years in a row, that's how much I loved it. It was always pretty clean for a club, spacious bathrooms, good food, themed holiday events...it was the spot to be. After the shooting that happened in the parking lot here a while back, which had nothing to do with the club itself by the way (the club is good and in a fairly safe area), this club changed owners or management. Ever since then, the club has been BORINGGGG. The music is always horrible, the drinks are overpriced, it's too far out of the way to even be worth going anymore. It's really such a shame how downhill this place went. It turned into an old people club, lame. Really miss the old vibes. If they consider catering towards young people again, I could see myself and plenty of friends returning once more. read more

the pros: the ac and the seating. the cons: the music is stuck in 2008 and the fact that a bar doesn't sell cocktails what is up with that? just beer and shots???? wth the service is difficult to get with an overloaded bar, and when you can finally order, they have nothing to offer. read more

We had an absolutely wonderful time on my best friend's bachelorette trip! The atmosphere was great, and the drinks were fairly priced. We rotated through the different venues and genuinely just enjoyed the entire place. The only complaint I have, was with the extremely rude bathroom attendant. She made some very rude comments, multiple times, but the manager Summer took care of us. She handled everything with grace, and i'd go back just because of how she treated us! read more

I thoroughly enjoyed myself here celebrating my friend's birthday. Table service was great, bartenders made great drinks, and everyone I encountered was friendly and accommodating. The music in all rooms kept us dancing all night. I will be back soon! read more

It took long enough but after its name change from STATUS to 3001, it has discovered that it needs fresh management. Now closing for yet another new management swap, perhaps they can get it together, and rebuild upon the success of 2001. They are going to have to spend some money, and increase the patron safety and I wish them good luck. read more

This was the second time I had been to this Night Club for live music. Each and every employee was kind, considerate and very helpful. They seemed to really care about the patrons. The bar drinks were very reasonable. Upon leaving I shook the hand of the owner to let him know that we enjoyed the staff but he wouldn't even look at me. He was standing at the exit to keep watch. I thought that a little bit rude. The parking lot is less than desirable and looks sketchy. read more

I'm a local and came here for my bachelorette party. The Manager and bartenders were so nice, welcoming, and accommodating to our large group. If that determined my rating, it would've been 5 stars. Unfortunately, our experience at bourbon cowboy was so bad that I had to give it less. Do not come to this bar to dance if you do not know how to line dance, and line dance well. The dance floor is so small and our group was told to get off the floor by someone there. Then, we were told to move on to the dance floor because we were in peoples way. We felt so unwelcomed by the other people there. We left and went to the rewind club and had way more fun there. Bourbon cowboy was a huge disappointment when I just wanted to listen to country music and dance. read more

Very interesting concept of 3 bars in 1. Country, regular, and club. Didn't check out the country side, but the regular has JMB band playing and they were great. Nice mix of genre of music. Good crowd dancing to the music. The club was playing some great hip-hop hits from the 90s& early 2000s with a decent amount of people dancing. The only bad part was the single men lingering on the edge of the dance floor watching the women dance. Either make your move or leave. read more

Was visiting on vacation from Houston over Halloween weekend and was looking for something fun to do for Saturday night. I found this place online and decided to check it out. I was staying at the Hilton Resort, and it was within 2 miles of hotel. It is a complex of three nightclubs (country, top 40, and Hip-Hop). The first thing I noticed was a large parking lot, that was well-lit and felt safe. All three clubs were hopping and appeared busy. I went to the Hip-Hop club and absolutely loved it! The DJ had creative mixes and had a good variety of RnB/Hip Hop songs from top 40 to rap and mixed in a few oldies but goodies. I danced for two straight hours - great music! The front staff and bouncers were friendly and welcoming, the bartenders were wonderful and attentive (especially given that it was pretty crowded for Halloween), drinks were heavy pours and were excellent AND the best part, were reasonably priced. I highly recommend this complex - good crowd, busy, great music, diverse clientele, and felt safe inside and out. read more

3001 is the reimaged 2001 / STATUS clubs. They invested a lot of money dressing up the place with multiple venues. However, I doubt that this attempt will succeed to capture the energy and crowds of 2001. I attended an early opening evening event for locals. It was apparent by the lack of management participation and interaction with customers that they have learned lessons from the failute of STATUS. Management needs to watch a couple of seasons of "Bar Rescue" and read John Taffer's book "Raise the Bar". At no time did I see management circle the room to interact with our group, losing opportunity to solicit memberships or to even receive feedback from the customers. Status missed opening at the begining of tourist season, but even the month they have been operating as 3001 has not prepared them to succed. There are too many places in the Myrtle Beach area to have a great experience. In my opinion, 3001 is not on that list. read more
