if I could give Zero stars I would. the manager is insanely aggressive and rude. I have a diabetic condition and went to one of the bathrooms to use the bathroom and check my bloodsugar. He banged on the door repeatedly 5 times I was in the bathroom less that five minutes. My friend clocked this and it was weird to her as well. I explained to him that I was using the restroom he repeatedly told me that three other people used the other bathroom while I was in the one I was in. I let the bartender know how fucked up that was. the manager didn't even ask if there was an issue Did not care that I do have a medical issue or device on my body. i told him we would tab out and leave. He said "Good Don't come back". I would say this place is not lesbian friendly as he seems to have it out for females. I would caution anyone who is traveling to Myrtle to not ever set foot in this bar if you are a woman. read more

Went here with my partner and my great uncle. We met some very friendly people that soon drove us around and became friends for the short time we were there. Today I went into St George bar and when I walked in I asked if I can just sit there and he said that was fine then checked my ID well as he know I work with a private agency that reviews bars like McFadden's down on 544 and the pulse my next stop was George's I went in there to review customer service cleanliness and how we are treated in the environment. After I had walked in and sat down I asked him for a glass of water because I do not drink he told me that he had to charge me $2 for a cup of water and that his boss told him that if you don't spend money you cannot come into the bar and sit down I had went to go watch the super bowl to review the bar I left after he told me to leave and then I called and told him I was going to leave a review the bartender was very rude about it he said he did not care and and very rudely told me to have a nice day. He said that his boss called him and told him that if I can't if nobody can spend money then they can't be in the bar and I think what kind of customer service is that I think that's very rude customer service so this is the reason why they are getting a one-star review and they are going on our companies do not go to list little does he know we were going to donate him $1,000 for the bar the very rudely pushed me away. I will never come back to this bar the bar smells like like they had garbage sitting in the building and cigarette smoke the smell was not very pleasant neither did the guy smell pleasant but I will never come back here again hope this review since all a warning and heating not to go to St George's bar. read more

This is a dive bar which is fine by me but folks, it's 2022. Exceedingly hard to understand a bar that continues to allow smoking inside. It's a definite turn off for anyone that doesn't smoke and some that do. The idea that you cannot go out and enjoy drinks without having to go directly home, shower and wash all your clothing to get rid of the stench is hard to believe. Most cities did away with indoor smoking decades ago. I'm sure the business would draw more folks if not for the indoor smoking. But hey, it is what it is. read more

One star...that is all . Don't even know where to start really. My husband and I were followed by some dude from our hotel to this place. There was a an eerie feeling in the air. We were so uncomfortable that we left. The bathroom was overflowing and some dude was carrying a broken bottle. The place was half empty. Then a group of guys walked in and was staring at us. Saturday night and bad karaoke don't expect any craft beer or creativity. doesn't seem bartender has any training or experience . hate to say it but if you want to waste some cab fare or uber cash come check it out for yourself. Too bad theirs no reviews of this on here, the place wasn't all that bad. The bar was not overly smoky, something I appreciate as a non smoker. The location was right near the beach. For us queers: mostly a daddy local crowd with middle age locals mixed in. Good place overall and an outdoor patio area bonus! Alcohol was not that $$. read more

Me an d my girlfriends got here at about 140am and the bartender Alex said they already did last call we said "are you sure?" And the bartender ALEX said yes so we asked to use the bathroom and he said sure. The four of us girls go to the bathroom not knowing it's a one person bathroom (but girls travel together) so we all go in to use the bathroom and on the third girl at about 1:50 the bartender comes to the door and says bars closed we have to get out. So we're saying we're almost done and he starts counting down from 10 saying he's gonna come in the bathroom to take us out, pants offf or not. So when we're rushed out of the bathroom we see that there are 7 guys still sitting at the bar but we were rushed out for using the bathroom so obviously they weren't closed and the hours say they close at 2 and it wasn't even 2am. Alex couldn't even let us finish using the bathroom even tho he had people at the bar with full drinks. read more

My fiancé and I were visiting from Charleston for a few days and were looking for a chill place to hang out. This was exactly that! The bartender, Alex and the locals were all very friendly. It was mostly men there but as a lesbian couple we felt very welcome and comfortable. We played a few games of pool and trivia. Had a blast and met some cool people. Can't ask for more than that!
