He reviewed it with us and updated the list of recommendations to indicate ones we wanted to hold for a later date. The crew arrived, including the owner, and they did the work. Great results. They did a great job on cleanup, picking up limbs as they went and feeding them into their wood chipper. They also raked up smaller debris. Once they were finished, Chad walked us through all the trees they worked on, explaining the work and pointing out with a laser pointer where cuts had been made. He initially gave us a quote of $1750. After the first day he asked to be paid $750, which we gladly paid. Then he failed to return several different times. When he did finally return he called me during the day and said he was here finishing it was more work than he anticipated and requested the total amount be $2000, which I agreed to. He called later that day implying he was done (my error I did not explicitly ask if he had completed everything!), I paid by CC the remaining $1250. When I got home from work my yard was destroyed and he was not done. Several more telephone calls and text messages to him, several times he promised to return the next day to finish, 4 months later and our yard is still a mess. Do yourself a favor and do not hire him. I wish I had done my research, I have found many other complaints online about him doing the same to other people. If I could rate negative stars I would!

He was also very communicative about getting our project scheduled (BONUS: he was able to get us started sooner than originally planned). His crew is some of the nicest people too. My son was running a fever for the few days they were working on our yard and they asked about how he was doing each day (one gentleman even asked if he could pray over him which was so unexpected and nice). They are considerate of your space. At the end of each work day, they sweep up and consolidate their tools to one area so it doesn't feel like you're in a construction zone. The finished product is very polished and well done. When there were things I wanted adjusted or trimmed a little bit more, Josh was very agreeable and happy to oblige. And yes, I was that high maintenance client who had a request to add more flagstone AFTER they were done and they were so great to get a team out the next day to make that little addition. And how often does a project come in under budget?? Was nice to see that they are very precise in what they do. After the project is done, Josh takes measurements of the actual work and adjusts to actuals which made our project come in a little under budget (yay!). I would happily work with them again!

HIs team of landscapers were early, worked hard during sun and rain, and they took time to clean the sidewalks and streets every night before leaving. The estimate was well written and Joshua kept us up-to-date every day on the progress. We had old grass removed, and old cottonwood tree and roots removed, rocks cleaned and weed barrier replaced, bushes replaced, sprinklers replaced and metal edging added. The final product was better then we could have imagined. Denver Tree and Landscape is an outstanding business because of Joshua and his great team of employees. I was referred to Limbotomy by my next door neighbor, who had a very positive experience with them…read more I called and made an appointment for them to come out for a free estimate. Jonah came, and we walked my yard, and he gave me an estimate that was significantly less than other estimates that I got last year. It had been over 20 years since the trees were planted with little or no care since then, so it was a big project. He never asked for a deposit, or any money until the job was completed to my satisfaction. I accepted the estimate, and we set a time for them to come out and do the work. On the set date/time Jonah came with his very competent foreman, and two other workers, who all showed up right on time. Jonan and his foreman and I walked the property again to determine exactly what was needed to be done. They spent most of the day working on the project, and by the end of the day, my yard looks great! They even went above and beyond what they had to do. As they cleared some low branches, it exposed several years of accumulated leaves under the branches. While those leaves were not their responsibility, the took it upon themselves to clean up and dispose of all of the newly exposed leaves. Jonah came by several times during the day to check on the progress. At the end of the day, they cleaned up all of the remnants of their work. I was very satisfied, and Jonah and I settled the bill. I was charged exactly what I was quoted, with no additional fees for any extra work. I can't say enough about the quality and completeness of the work that Jonah and his crew provided. They were very professional, easy to work with, and they had no problem with me watching at times through out the day. They seemed glad to have me be so involved with their work. I will definitely have them back next year to trim up the new growth.
