This was my first time every going to a karaoke place where there it was a personal room, very different but fun! If you are unfamiliar with the place, you can rent out a room for your entire party and you have control of the tvs that play the music and videos that you sing to. Amazing spot, celebrated my 25th birthday 3 weeks ago. It was an unforgettable night!

For the last several years I've been doing my birthday karaoke at Gagopa around the corner, but this time they were booked for the night. With trepidation I looked around and booked this new place. They wanted a credit card deposit, but after a chat they were willing to just hold the card while we paid in cash, since there was a 15% discount for cash. They were well prepared when we walked in and had a nice selection of beers for those who didn't BYOB, and the room was large with 4 mics as opposed to the standard 2. They had every song we looked for and the cheesy korean videos offered plenty of amusement. With sickness, families and people getting older we didn't average the 30 or so I was expecting over 4 hours, but fortunately the place was also well organized in figuring out who was coming in and out and only charged us for that as opposed to the top flat fee. This is always a major issue given people coming in and out and forgetting to pay, so it was great to see that they handled things properly in that respect. We were here on Friday night. We made reservations upfront. We had so much fun in this place. We were able to carry food and beers with us. I had a great time here with a group of 20 people! Although we were loud and ridiculous, the owner was very accommodating and helpful. Drank a lot, sang a lot, danced a lot. The audio system was loud and good quality, and I love how they also give you a rating after you finish each song too! We had free chips along with our beer. Too bad the elevator going up can't fit more than 5! Signs everywhere warning us. Anyway, when me and my friends stepped out of the elevator we were basked in pretty white and blue lights. There were free lollipops for the customers. The 6 of us spent about 2 hours there and paid only $20 each in the end. You pay according to how big your party is. It's been almost 2 weeks since I had my 25th birthday held here and it was a fantastic, authentic experience. I had 35-40 people and we fit comfortably into their biggest room. BYOBeer allowed a chill homey vibe as well. I felt like I was partying with my friends in my own living room but in Korea Town which is lit af at night! I'm giving this 4 stars just because the music selection could have been better and the mics would make unpleasant noises sometimes but for the most part had a great time and received plenty of positive feed back from friend who traveled near and far to celebrate with me. I would def go back and would recommend others to consider this if they are hosting an event and would like to have an inexpensive night where you don't have to put a deposit on your card. read more

Came here with a group for a friend's birthday. We booked the room for 2 hours. I wish they had some newer songs, but they have a very decent selection. The staff was helpful in telling us how to use the machine and also letting us know when we only had a few minutes left. The price was also very reasonable. read more

I have been here multiple times with large groups and it's always a lot of fun. The staff are relaxed and helpful, the location couldn't be easier for meeting up, and it's close to the best Korean restaurants in Manhattan. Best karaoke place I've been to in k-town yet. Private rooms and byob. The people that work here are so nice they have my friend a bottle of watered the next day ("just for being a customer") when she came to pick up the sweater she left. A bunch of friends came through our room for a friend'a birthday party and I was pleasantly surprised at the end of the night that 32 Karaoke charged us only for the amount of time each person was there. This is instead of charging us for the total number of people times total number of hours as other places do. read more

This place was great. I called 2 hours before and made a reservation for a 2 hour spot. We had 8 people with us and the room was more than big enough. They had a great song selection and the employees were really helpful because we wanted to switch machines from the all English songs to the English/Korean machine half-way through. They also helped us find some Korean songs since they were listed in Hangul. Wish they had the lyrics in romanization for the Korean songs, but my friend and I made it work, kind of haha. All beers are only $3 which was wonderful, and you can bring your own alcohol. The place was clean, and the decorations were great. And they gave us free snacks. Pricing was not bad, it ended up coming to $17 per person for two hours, plus what each person spent on alcohol. A perfect night out! read more

the lady who works there is awesome. i either go to gagopa which is right nearby, and she used to be there all the time and she gives great service. 32 karaoke is similar to gagopa and has a huge song selection, and it's cheap! don't kno why it has $$$$ it's definitely cheap compared to other karaoke places near it. it's a must go trust me! read more

We reserved a room on a Saturday night..15 of us..we are all in our 50's. It was absolutely fabulous. The room was fantastic and they let you bring in your own food and beer and wine. They supply ice and cups and napkins. They are super helpful and nice. WE LOVED this place and want to come back soon with another big group. I looked at a lot of places and thought this had the best rules and nice size rooms. The guys who work there are really nice and helpful. We brought in lots of snacks and went out to eat after nearby. The BYOB was great but I believe their beer is really reasonably priced anyway. The room had GREAT lighting and GREAT sound. I've been here a few times but this last time pretty much went horrible. Reserved a large room for my boyfriends birthday for 3 hours l. We were having dinner with friends and saw that we were running a bit late. Reservations for room was at 9:30. At 9:25 I received a call from 32 karaoke asking if we were coming. I said yes but we were running a few minutes late and he says ok. I tell my boyfriend and his friends to go ahead to the karaoke spot just in case we have any issues. When I get there, I see that him and the guy are having an arguement. Turns out, because we were late they decided to give the room away. They said that they had a strict cancellation policy that is outlined in the email. I show him the email and NO WHERE does it say that if you are 30 minutes late they will cancel your reservation. When my boyfriend is trying to understand the whole situation and repeats what the guy said, the guy calls him a racist for no reason. Then he says that he called me but I didn't answer which was a lie because my friends saw me answer the call. They were unable to give us a room so my boyfriends birthday was pretty much ruined. They didn't even try to resolve the issue. I was pretty upset and I don't plan on coming back again. They need better management and better system. If you're worried about no shows then maybe start putting a hold on credit cards when making reservations. read more

I went on a Thursday night will 11 people. We made a reservation in advance. It was $20 for 3 hours per person. You have a private room to yourself and get to select all the songs you want. You can BYOB and food. There also is free candy at the front desk. Before we left they also gave us all free water. It definitely was a great time and I plan to go back! read more

Came here this past weekend to celebrate my birthday with friends. We had a blast and will be back again! I brought in chips, dip and snacks for my friends. I recently had a birthday bash at 32Karaoke and it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. I had more than expected number of guests and they switched around rooms so we would feel more comfortable in a bigger space. They gave us waters and had all the openers, coolers, and ice. I used to frequent Ding Dong Dang and found it to be very average. The price, staff and drink selection were to be expected of a K-Town Karaoke Bar. However, it's come to my understanding that management has recently changed. The price seems to have decreased while the drink selection has increased. I agree with the reviewer below about the staff; if you get to meet the lady, you'll know what he was talking about. She was very kind and generous during my last visit. I don't know if the sound system got better or if the song selection expanded but my last visit was one of the best experiences I've had at a Karaoke Bar. On a street with many options, Ding Dong Dang has definitely taken primacy in my book. read more
