Gorgeous views! Try the pork belly and filet. The pork belly doesn't really need an explanation. The salty sweet combo they created with the apple risotto and cherry compote is unique and delicious. The cherries carry strong fall flavors, but you can always leave those off. The filet was perfectly prepared, and a highlight of the evening. The split pea soup was a surprising show stopper. This is the cowboy of all split pea soups. It has pork belly on it y'all. Not a little bit either. A good, hearty, satisfying amount that leaves you happy happy happy.

Sea scallops in a mushroom sauce with asparagus. Very good!

Only complain is the soup could've been a little warmer, but other than that the Steak Frites & Scallop dishes were both excellent! Highly recommend!

Had a dinner here last night. Our server was a young man who lives in Maryland part time (I am blanking on his name) he was so kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. He gets 5 stars in our book. The food, however, was another story. The bread was so salty we couldn't eat it. I had the beet salad and subbed balsamic as I wasn't a fan of the vanilla orange dressing. My boyfriend had the wagyu tartar which was good. Unfortunately those were the best part of the meal. My boyfriend was not a fan of his rainbow trout. My sea bass had several bones in it which made me too afraid to eat. The guacamole on top of the rice made the rice very cold. We are not the type to send food back so my boyfriend instead ordered the squash risotto for us to share since we didn't love our dinners. That arrived and lacked salt and seasoning and the risotto was over cooked and mushy. We were sad that it went this way as we were so looking forward to this dinner.

Been coming to RR for years. Service and wine/cocktail lists are outstanding. High priced entrees that typically stand up to the billing. The "A9" Wagyu strip didn't live up to the hype for me. Otherwise, outstanding experience.

Cannot recommend this place enough! I am shocked it doesn't have a higher rating. I went with a group of 3 couples while we were in Big Sky for a trip. Being from the Tri-State area we are pretty particular when it comes to food and everything blew us away. One of our friends is a professional chef and even he was raving about everything we had. The ambiance was great, they were able to seat us in the fireplace/bar area and it was the exact Hallmark movie vibes we wanted for our trip. The service was also great. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Absolutely worth the visit!

The service was great, the drinks are good and the food is delicious. You need to drink the Huckleberry cocktail and the Elk, it was AMAZING

I had a few girlfriends come visit me in Bozeman from all over the USA. I decided to surprise them with a little staycation at the Rainbow & it was the best idea I've ever had! Scott, the manager was so kind to us. He made sure that the champagne I had ordered ahead of time was chilled & waiting in the room upon arrival. Every single time we go into the hot tub a staff member started & maintained a fire for us. Ashley, the kind bartender even came down to the tub to deliver us four delicious Moscow mules. The bedding was clean and so comfortable. The robes made it feel really luxurious. We all agree that our night staying at the Rainbow was a highlight of the trip, thanks to Scott & staff. Our only regret was not staying longer! When the girls come back this summer, we'll be back up at the rainbow. Thank you for an amazing stay!

    So tasty!

Our server was efficient, he brought us a pitcher of water after we quickly downed our first glasses. We ordered 3 burgers and the steak sandwich. The burgers and fries were all great. The steak sandwich had maybe 2oz of meat on it and a few arugula leaves. We called attention to the measly sandwich with the waiter...like surely this can't be right for $33? He didn't act like it was unusual, but offered to swap it out for another burger at our request. I wish I would've taken photo of it, because it was comical. Especially next to the huge burger and huge turkey club sandwiches they were bringing out. There were a LOT of flies and bees around our table constantly. All other tables had one of those fly fans on them, but we didn't get one. The flies were abundant and annoying. This was the first meal we've eaten at Big Sky, so I can't say whether or not we would return. Perhaps at dinner. It has a great reputation. But I wouldn't order the steak sandwich again.

We got to enjoy coffee on the patio by the small stream. We booked fly fishing and horseback riding and had the best experience with both! Alex was super patient, as it was our first time fly fishing and we had a blast learning! One of the biggest highlights of our stay, was the restaurant. Brooke was our server two nights in a row and since it was our first time in Montana we asked her for advice on places and things to do. She took the time to sit with us, writing down places to see. She gave us the best recommendations! The food and ambience of the restaurant was the best way to end each night! All in all I would highly recommended the 320!

We stayed in one of the cabins, and it was perfect for our visit. It was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, fan, heater, shampoo, soap, hair dryer, and plenty of electrical outlets for charging all of our devices. Everything we needed was provided, making our stay very relaxing and convenient. We also enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the ranch. Dinner was excellent, and our favorites were the creamy mac and cheese and the delicious huckleberry beer. The complimentary breakfast buffet was outstanding and far exceeded our expectations. No corners were cut on the offerings--there was a great variety of fresh, high-quality food, making it one of the best included breakfasts we've had while traveling. There were so many activities available that we wish we had more time to enjoy. The fly-fishing lessons and horseback riding looked fantastic, and we'd love to come back and experience both on a future visit. Overall, 320 Guest Ranch exceeded our expectations. Between the stunning scenery, comfortable accommodations, exceptional food, and welcoming atmosphere, it was one of the highlights of our Montana trip. We would definitely stay here again!

Perhaps the bar was backed up, so when I placed my order for a beer, I expected it might be a moment. Unfortunately I didn't expect it to require 25 minutes of patience, while onlooking new arriving customers whom were receiving their bar beverages within reasonable waits. I politely asked our server how that beer was coming and he replied that he'd check. Several more minutes past and he returned with an apology and promise that it was coming soon. Mind you, the beer I ordered was in a can. More time passed and I asked the server if I need to go to the bar myself and talk to the bartender and he insisted that it wasn't necessary. I waited a few moments and witnessed lots of discussion but not beer being procured. I then walked up to the bar and relayed the situation to the bartender who then handed me a beer different than the one I had just requested directly to his face. Tossed it to me and then asked if I wanted it in a glass. Over the rest of the meal, I was given 3 weird, long, unaccountable apologies. The cost of the beer was left on the bill. On the positives side, it was the best meal we had at Big Sky (between Chet's, Carabiner's, and The Exchange restaurant). We each ordered bouillabaisse which came with shrimp, mussels and two big portions of lobster, along with some mashed potatoes. This was delicious and generously sized. I could easily have shared the dish. The salad was really large and also very tasty (don't remember the name but it came with candied pecans and a red wine vinaigrette). We also ordered the kids pasta which was a hit. The had a good spirits selection and had Blanton's. On the negatives, the kids grilled chicken breast came overcooked, despite us asking specifically for it not to be overcooked. Fortunately they immediately redid it for us and it came back moist and tender the second time. We also had the hamachi crudo which was not the freshest tasting fish and was half tuna (mich like the tuna poke we had at Carabiners) and half hamachi. My orange bitters old fashioned on their specialty cocktails menu also did not hit the spot. But overall a very good meal albeit pricey, and very attentive server.
