This coffee shop is so cute and conveniently located at the intersection of Glenwood and Hillsborough. I opted for a tropical refresher. It tasted concentrate based, but it was light and not too sweet. I also got a ham and cheese croissant, it's a good size but make sure to ask to get it warmed up! Super friendly servi

This is a cute coffee shop located in downtown--conveniently near a yoga class I went to. They have done seating inside and outside--if it were warmer, this would have been a great place to read on the patio with a cup of coffee. Lots of options and sweet staff. They hire professionals with disabilities, which I really appreciate and like to support. My dirty chai with lavender was delicious and a great start to the day.

I came here on a Sunday afternoon and ordered a carrot cake latte! The cashier was very nice and I only waited a few minutes for my drink. Although my latte tasted fine, it tasted just like a regular vanilla latte :/ However, i do love that they had a few seasonal drinks and will definitely come back to try some other drinks. There are a few seats inside and lots of options for outdoor seating.

Great location! Great coffee! Amazing service! This is a small, very cute coffee shop in downtown Raleigh. Not only does the cafe employee individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities, it also sells snacks from other businesses that support individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities. Check out this great local coffee shop!

My cousin and I went. The drinks look the same but the left is an iced dirty chai latte and the right is an iced latte, both have brown sugar & white mocha syrup. Both drinks were great! The place is small but the wall of windows (pictured) provide beautiful natural lighting. There's also a few tables for outdoor seating. Our cashier was very sweet, 321 makes a point to hire people with down syndrome. It's great to see a shop that shows their values in their day to day operations.

Ordered a dirty chai here at the counter.

Came in for a cup of coffee before a meeting at WeWork. Went to take a seat and a cockroach was just hanging out. Decided to turn around and walk out.

Tasty peppermint white mocha & double caramel steamer!

Parking can be a bit tricky here as the coffee shop is located in the heart of downtown Raleigh. The vibe inside this coffee shop is bright and open. I ordered a caramel latte which was excellent and the latte art was also a nice touch. If you are trying to work remotely there isn't much seating available here. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely be stopping by black and white coffee for a cup of coffee.

I'm a big fan of lighter-roasted, funky, expressive coffees, and Black & White absolutely delivers. Their roasting style leans into vibrant, fruit-forward profiles, and they do it with confidence. The downtown Raleigh location is fantastic too. It's right in the middle of everything, making it a great stop for a date night, meeting up with friends, or just dropping in for a quick but exceptional cup. Their seasonal menu was small but mighty -- just a couple of options -- but the kind where every drink looks so good you wish they'd never rotate them off the menu. I started with the orange cardamom flat white, and it was perfect in every way. Beautifully presented and incredibly balanced. The espresso, milk, orange, and cardamom all complemented each other without any one flavor taking over. It was nuanced, aromatic, and just a joy to drink. For my second drink, I ordered a Rodrigo Sanchez pour-over, a co-fermented Colombian coffee labeled with passion fruit notes. It was everything I want from a pour-over -- bright, juicy, and expressive, with the kind of sweet stone fruit and berry notes that make light-roasted coffee so exciting. Black & White continues to prove why they're one of the most respected specialty roasters around. If you love adventurous coffee with huge flavor and careful execution, this place is an absolute must-visit.
