After she ate the food and began to feel ill, the waitress came back and said, "Oh you ate the side with dairy." She didn't seem to think it was a big deal. She just said, "Let me get your bill." I spoke to the lady at the door and told her the situation, saying I did not feel like I should have to pay the entire amount as neither of us got the food we were supposed to get. She said, "Let me see what I can do." She never came back to talk to me. The bill was cut in half. My daughter is also allergic to caffeine. The waitress did not know that "decafe" and "caffeine free" are two different things and that "decafe" does indeed have caffeine. My daughter was sick for an entire day of our vacation. This establishment really needs to be more careful with allergies. Thankfully my daugher's dairy allergy is not life threatening and she knew not to order decafe. But what if that were not the case?
