    Make sure you sign the 3 day cooling off period contract. They will try to convince you not to but trust me you will need it.

I was nervous as I arrived alone and every past experience with dealerships has been abrupt & rude and had felt like I got had at some level. The day before, I had consulted with Carmax who offered $1,900 less than the online Kelley Blue Book offer. The week before that, a friend offered to help me sell my Jeep but he tried to get me to sign my title without a date saying that's what all sellers do in advance of selling cars. (Never sign the title until the money has been surrendered to you and the buyer is standing in front of you. I felt betrayed and disappointed by the so-called "friend". I had already contacted a shop owner & friends who only purchase Jeeps. They all wanted to buy my Jeep but times are tough lately & no one was liquid to purchase. I'm telling you all this to let you know how discouraged and roughed up I was feeling by the time I arranged my appoint my for Phillips Auto to see my Jeep. I am spreading the word now that your experience with Phillips will also feel great. You will be greeted in a friendly, professional casual manner. I finally met the affable Andreas (who had been communicating with me about my Jeep I was thinking of selling) and the impressive Bianca who feels like a friend from the start. She is in charge and you feel comfortable and charmed and informed. Both are kind and efficient while appraising my vehicle. Bianca's experienced eye and candor helps the checklist go fast. Their offer price was transparent and fair; very close to my Kelley Blue Book estimate. Bianca is prepared and lets you k is what she is thinking & openly helps you along with understanding the process. I chose to finalize selling my Jeep to Phillips because they gave me a fair offer and did not waste my time. Also, there was no pressure; they gave me the time I needed to call a couple friends' approval to hear their thumb's up. I got free water & a peaceful environment despite other customers & representatives doing business. The showroom is busy but not loud or bustly. Yes, I could have gone privately to sell my Jeep. But I had to get real with myself; I have never sold a vehicle privately before & my Jeep was older & would need time & investment of staging it well to sell it in my own. I did not have the knowledge to do all the trudge work necessary & not the time to meet & haggle with prospective buyers when Phillips has the staff & equipment to pass the Wrangler along to someone who would be just as happy with it as I have been driving it. The paperwork was quick. Phillips will do everything needed. All I did was sign & cancel my car insurance--and that process was not as nice as selling the car, wouldn't you know?! (I certainly felt taken advantage of by my car insurance later that day. That is a different and not as cheerful of a Yelp review & I have been with the same insurance company for 40 years.) Phillips treated me better on our first transaction than my long term insurance agent. Phillips Auto even provided me a complimentary Uber ride home. The wonderful element about Phillips is integrity & decency at this family-owned dealership. My car insurance franchise is also family-owned. Mind boggling with how wonderful I regard Phillips Auto. I'm going to keep referring all whom I care about to do business with Phillips Auto. Bianca is stellar. Please tell her you read this review. She is great people!!

I've leased multiple Land Rovers over the years -- from Mission Viejo, San Diego, and eventually Newport Beach when John Pham and Robb Bennett completely changed my mind back in 2019 on my white Velar. That experience was incredible. But then came the service nightmare in 2021 that had me swearing I'd never come back. I was done. I was actively shopping a Porsche Cayenne and was literally on my way to the Porsche dealership when Jason's email came through with a full lease breakdown -- drive-off options, term lengths, money factor, everything laid out transparently. I turned my car around. That is not an exaggeration. His pricing and total honesty stopped me mid-drive and put me back at square one deciding between two cars. That's the kind of impact a truly great salesperson has -- not by pushing, but by earning trust. Jason has been hands down the most responsive and helpful sales professional I've worked with across every Range Rover dealership in Southern California -- and I've talked to many. He follows up without being overbearing, respects your timeline, and never once made me feel pressured. When I told him I was headed to Mammoth for a ski weekend and needed time to think, he didn't push. He gave me space while still being available when I had questions. That balance is so rare. What I love most about Jason is his transparency. He proactively sent over the full deal structure with multiple options so I could compare and make an educated decision on what was best for me. Our transmission is suffering from a commonly issue that everyone is talking about on forums and even AI suggest the same problem. When I asked Luis that I want my TCU transmission control module to be reprogrammed or relearned, his reply was we don't just use pocket size scanners but we use sophisticated tools and run different diagnosis to read error codes. I was kind of offended. I did tell him that I too have checked the car and he will not find no error codes. The way he acted was like he's talking to some stupid person who knows nothing about cars.the only reason I took the car to them was that the scanner I have would not do the relearning but it is not. Pocket size not a 50 dollars scanner. What I was asking him was what I wanted him to do to my car but instead he took our money and came to the same conclusion that there is no error codes and could not duplicate the problem. I'd like to post what needed to be done to my car but I don't know how to copy and paste the screen shots I took to teach this kid not to make fun of other people. I come from a very well known luxury exotic store that I closed and retired from and ran two new car stores myself and always depended on CSI. What occurred today was nothing but a kid with no experience nor wanting to actually listen to what I had to say but only cared to fish me in for couple of hours of labor rather than help fixing my issue and make us want to come back again. One star is too much for Luis!!!

Had an appointment with Laura V. but she was with another customer so David, the host, sent me to see Simon C. Simon was professional and efficient. He got the paperwork done quickly while I waited in his office. They also had the loaner (a 2026 model with only 4000 miles!) waiting for me on the lot. The waiting room was gorgeous, sparkling clean, and well-stocked with snacks and beverages. Laura followed up later after I left. She also sent a video of my car to my husband phone, then mine, once the technician started to check the car in. Laura stayed in touch and updated on the status of the car, which was done by noon the next day. Pickup was smooth, and Laura pleasantly assisted throughout the whole process. I also wanted to thank David for his assistance and his pleasant demeanor. This dealership is first class and top notch on their service. My car was also washed and spotless when I picked it up. Receptionist could have been a bit more welcoming though. Thank you everyone for the phenomenal experience.

    I really wanted and intended to write a five star review of OC Autosource because initially I liked…read morethe owner, Tony Thompson and trusted him. I ignored other reviews and purchased my dream car from OC Autosource...a Bentley Continental GT Speed "Limited Le Mans Edition" (#7 of 48) coupe. Though the car had been in his hands for weeks, he apparently never bothered to have a mechanic look at it. I paid for a PPI (Pre-Purchase Inspection) after buying it (my bad, don't make this mistake) and learned the truth about the car. The front grills had sustained damage, breaking off the tabs that hold them in place and subsequently been GLUED back on. The front left wheel had a crack in it which caused the tire to steadily lose air pressure, ultimately triggering an alert on the car's dash. This alert effectively froze the computer, making it impossible to use the navigation, listen to music or do anything else. I returned to the tire shop 3 times for refills, seven days later the alarm was triggered again, On my third visit they discovered the crack in the wheel. The exhaust system was loosely hanging on...missing brackets that secure it and prevent it from hanging low. The car has a 20 speaker, $7500.00 sound system but the blown speaker in the dash made it painful to use...like nails on a chalkboard. When I provided Tony proof of these flaws, he assured me he would make good on the repairs and "..do the right thing" and I believed him. I had everything fixed at a cost of $2637.79 (parts & labor) and now enjoy driving the car. Weeks passed and Tony never contacted me until I posted a review and filed a BBB complaint. 24hrs after posting my initial review & filing a BBB complaint, I got reimbursed the total amt for the aforementioned repairs. But because Tony asked me to "...remove all the negative you put out there" I feel this was mere damage control rather than his desire to do the right thing because I received more messages from him within 24hrs of posting my review than I received in the preceding 4 months.. I promised him an honest review on my first visit to OC Autosouce & that's what this is. I always keep my word. If you intend to purchase a car from OC Autosource, I suggest you demand a PPI be conducted before you buy. Have the cost of any repairs necessary be deducted from the purchase price and handle the repairs yourself. JMO...I could be wrong.

I had Tony come get the car and he promised me my refund after I sent the pink slip. I did send the pink slip but wasn't refunded. I had a handyman in my home posing as a contractor. He seen a jeep on OC's website and had to have that car. I told him if he could get a vehicle from them then to pay me back the $48,000 that would be fine. Tony let him know the car couldn't go for that cheap. Roger Michael then threatened Tony's life. That didn't go over well. After the poser stole a small fortune from me committed fraud and elder abuse. He stole my Jeep Rubicon and took off for Arroyo Grande. However my Jeep is now in police custody. I'm pursuing charges with the DA against Roger. Tony Thompson has called me and apologized. He is going to make things right between him and I. I'm going to put my trust behind Tony. I believe he will make things right so I'm giving him a good review. I don't want his business to suffer no one deserves that. I want him to do well and help me out. Give him a chance he's had some tough times too.
