Afterwards I had a change of heart after realizing how shiny the kitchen may look since we were using a lot of stone. Karen was able to change our order to a natural matte finish and made it very easy. I was so scared it was too late as it was our fault and she let me know not to worry at all and that the change would be taken care of. Karen saved our kitchen design and we are so thankful for her. It was also an easy communication between Imperial Tile & Stone with our fabricators and contractor. Not only do our countertops and backsplash look beautiful but they are incredibly easy to take care of! They are also heat proof too so I don't have to worry when enjoying my hot tea in the morning.

Robert's team led by Carlos laced the wood back together (they had to take up a larger part of the floor because the boards didn't line up perfectly on either side of the old repair) and were able to reuse many of our existing boards to do it, you can see the new wood over by the wall in the collage. They sanded the floors down and prepared three stain samples (bottom left photo of the collage) based on colors we picked from a fan book they loaned us. The bottom right photo is the finished product and we couldn't be happier with how the floors turned out! They took great care of our home, using plastic to cover the openings to the kitchen and all vents so the dust didn't end up anywhere it shouldn't, and cleaned up the remaining dust when they finished. The stain is Nutmeg from Duraseal on red oak hardwood, with a Satin finish polyurethane sealant.

Elit Tile's return policy is meaningless if they can simply invent new restrictions after taking…read moreyour money. My experience with Elit Tile began with them failing to deliver the order I paid for. I purchased 8 pieces of tile, but their vendor only shipped 6 pieces. I had to discover their mistake myself. Had I not counted the order, I would have left with an incomplete purchase. Later, they actually tried to use the cost of correcting their own shipping mistake as a reason to deny my return. After bringing the completed order home, I realized the tile did not match my existing flooring. I immediately contacted Joy Lee and requested a return while the tile was completely unused. Here's the problem: at no point before my purchase did Joy Lee tell me that returns supposedly depended on vendor approval or that orders under four boxes could not be returned. That alleged restriction was never disclosed in the store and does not appear anywhere in my sales paperwork. Only after I requested a return did Joy Lee suddenly claim that the vendor would not approve it because the order was under four boxes. That completely defeats the purpose of having a return policy. If customers are never told about these restrictions until after they pay, then they don't have the information necessary to make an informed purchasing decision. Instead of standing behind what was represented at the time of sale, Elit Tile relied on an undisclosed vendor policy that was never communicated beforehand and refused to accept responsibility. My tile was unused, my return request was made promptly, and yet I was simply told the matter was "closed." If you're considering purchasing from Elit Tile, ask for every return restriction in writing before you hand over your credit card. Otherwise, you may discover after the sale that the return policy you thought you had doesn't actually apply.

Sad! He even offered my dad morphine, totally unprofessional to try to offer a prescription to a senior who you don't even know how that would react with his body and his own medication. He said he got that prescription because he had to have double hip surgery. I don't need to know your personal drama sadly you couldn't finish the work. You didn't want to pay your good Tiler to get this job done. You cannot work as good as your workers because my photos prove that.
