What an experience! The food, the service, and the decor were all phenomenal. The food here is super fresh, especially for an AYCE hot pot buffet. The appetizers and sashimi were fresh and delicious. I highly recommend getting the snowflake beef, super tender. There are so many seafood options at this hotpot. We got the shrimp and the large clam. The fish ball assortment was very extensive. My favorite was the shrimp paste. They bring over a bowl of shrimp paste and our waiter formed each individual ball for us - talk about service! There's a service bell but you probably won't need to use it, they come around very often with changes of plates and also water for the hotpot... but if you do use it, our server came in seconds. I came across 37 Xiang on my feed and decided to try it out with a friend on a weekend at 12pm because they had separate seating areas that were enclosed. This was great because every party had privacy and it allowed us to eat in without being as concerned with potential exposures to COVID. When reading reviews there were a few comments regarding how the menu was not specific regarding the items that cost extra, however, our waitress was patient and thorough in explaining the menu and the instructions as we ordered because it was our first time here. She explained everything to me in Mandarin and had no problem repeating it again in English (as best could) for my friend. She came in to check on us and to ask whether we wanted to order more food multiple times, and if not, there was a call bell at the table. They service AYCE hotpot and sashimi for $49 per person, 2 hours stay. I originally wanted to just eat the sashimi because you had to pay an additional $5.5 for a small hotpot soup base, but I'm glad my friend talked me out of it, and we shared one pot because it was so cold that day. The food took around 15min to start arriving, and I was pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes, along with how they adjust it for you throughout the stay so you don't waste food. I do believe the sashimi/seafood was a hit or miss in terms of quality and taste. I was not a fan of the octopus, red snapper, white tuna. The salmon was okay. However, if I were to come here again, I would definitely order the raw oysters, scallops, and yellowtail. As for the hotpot, I was satisfied with everything we ordered. Honestly my major gripe with this place was the price. They aren't super transparent about what you'll be paying upfront so that was pretty frustrating. Priced at almost $50 a person for AYCE, I thought it was a fair price considering the huge selection of items that they offer. They have the usual hot pot items, in addition to fresh seafood, sashimi, and oysters. However, they charge $5.50 per hot pot base and since we had a large group, we had two pots. I specifically only chose one flavor for one pot because I did not want to be double charged but was still charged for two - pretty upsetting. Also be aware that a lot of the things on the menu are not included in the AYCE special including sea urchin, king crab, etc. Besides the pricing, food was pretty tasty. There was a huge selection of things to choose from and pretty high quality. We were able to order unlimited oysters and they were incredibly fresh and even came with cocktail sauce! I loved all the handmade fish and shrimp balls. The hot appetizers were pretty good as well. Very unique flavors and offered something to hold us down while waiting for all the food. This place is perfect for COVID times because there are very private booths that are spaced apart. Even for the sauce stations, they come straight to you so you aren't making contact with others. When we got to 37 Xiang, they seemed really busy so we got seated in a big room downstairs. However, this room was only kbbq and we let them know that we stated we wanted hotpot so initially we got placed in the wrong room after notifying them. Once they put us in the new room, we were able to start ordering. First off the sauce bar is on a rolling cart outside of the room and what is unfortunate about this is that at times other rooms were using this in their room so if I wanted to refill or make a new combination of sauces, I would have to wait until they finished before I could use it which was a hassle. Secondly, the service was quite slow bringing out the food, especially the meats. We would order several quantities, however, they would only bring out one plate, which was not enough because it would be eaten by very quickly leading to have to reorder and wait for several minutes again just to get another one. They do have good quite the diversity and freshness in meats, seafoods, fried, hot foods etc. so I will give it to them on that. This is my first AYCE hot pot buffet with sushi and I have to say that it's a game changer! As a party of 7, we had a private room with karaoke in the basement. I first learned about 37 Xiang because all of their tables are in their own private rooms/stalls and that really appealed to me during this panini, and was absolutely sold when I learned they include sashimi and oysters as part of their AYCE menu, so this was the first restaurant I dined indoors at in many months, and came back to celebrate my birthday with a larger group 2 months later. They have a handy automated system that handles reservations and the waitlist. Our first visit, our table-ready text came 40 minutes after the confirmation text, so we returned and were promptly seated in a little stall that could seat 4? up to 6?? We were actually checking how ventilated it was since we were being so cautious and were super impressed by the very low CO2 readings we go, so we ate quite comfortably, save for the bit of a draft from the window on what wound up being a chillier night. ONTO THE FOOD First, I have to say my expectations for the quality of the sashimi and oysters were low and they were exceeded! Very solid raw fish and I slurped down a lot of oysters. (Oysters do come with a little bit of cocktail sauce already dabbed on each one, as a heads up, and lemon wedge for you to squeeze.) We chose our broths, the condiments cart was wheeled to right outside our little stall, and our food came fairly quickly, too. I appreciated the several cold appetizer options that help offset the heaviness/richness that can come with eating hotpot, like kimchi, cucumber salad, blueberry with daikon (I rarely see this in the US), and seaweed salad. I really liked the variety of options we had with the hotpot. Fatty lamb and beef AND a "snowflake" beef (even more fat marbled in), plus nearly all of my favorite things, like fish roe balls, shrimp paste, different mushrooms, and several items I don't see as often here in the US (especially at AYCE places), like egg tofu, duck blood, pork kidney, and shirataki knots. The veggie menu looks small but is the leafy greens, as the other veg are with the other items. I also really appreciated that our server took our order and then came back to remind us we hadn't ordered any seafood for the hotpot yet. The seafood offerings here are often additional charges at other places, so make sure you take advantage of them to get the bang for the premium price here, like we did with some lovely crabs. They do have a premium seafood menu that has an extra charge and requires reservation. When we came back with a larger group, we ordered watermelon juice from their pretty extensive juice menu for the table as another refreshing treat to offset the good food. Our server also let us know that beverages were included (careful not to fill up on fizzy drink!) so my dad was even able to satisfy his soymilk craving. At the end, we also were able to grab some ice cream, which we ok-ed with the server don't you worry haha Each of the rooms/stalls also has a spot for you to put emptied plates as they are cleared so that you can make more room for new food, and the servers will clear them on their way out, which I think is a really nice and streamlined experience for the private dining format. With regards to service, we were checked on and could call a server with a button without having to wait more than a few moments, so no worries about being left neglected for a long time here. BONUS: Party rooms (8+) have karaoke?? I scoured the Yelp reviews to see how people liked it but didn't see any details. We were actually too busy eating and catching up after not seeing many friends for so long to even touch the karaoke setup. They have a beer/wine/soju/sake menu here so I can see this getting pretty lit Small nitpicks were that we had a small stove issue at one of the seats, but since there were extra stoves at the table this was resolved fairly quickly. Also, don't be heartbroken when the condiments cart gets rolled to another stall that arrives after you but be aware of it in case you wonder where it went while trying to get topped up! Probably one of the better AYCE in all of NYC but service is not great anymore... Upon first visit some time last year, they had the best food and best service ever but the more I went, the less friendly the staff have gotten. Quality of food also have went down and the worst part is, I'm starting to notice how slow they have gotten. The past few times, we would wait about 10-15 minutes before the food comes. Ideally, that is normal in a regular restaurant but this is a hot pot spot where we cook it ourselves. There were multiple times where my friends and I would still be eating and they'll tell us they need the room for the next guests but we haven't been there for long either. Given the fact that they bring us our food super late all the time, the staff should really consider how long it takes for them to bring us our menu items, how long it cooks etc. Celebrating birthdays here is not a thing either. We had asked for them to bring the cake out on 2 separate occasions and they would just plop the entire box down on our table, with it still in the box and bag. How embarrassing! At least light the candles and bring it. We're not asking for you to do a whole show. To sum it up, soup base is great. Food is okay. Don't get the raw oysters here! It's never fresh. This hot pot place in Flushing is not only AYCE, but each dining party also gets a PRIVATE ROOM! It was definitely my first time ever dining in a private room for hot pot, so the experience felt so much more elevated and unique. When we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by the front desk who then led us to our appropriate dining room. For ordering, we placed orders on an IPad. We got to pick two flavors for the pot so opted for the tomato and the herbal broth. The tomato broth was really good - super strong tomato flavors, loved that. The dipping sauce station is right outside our door and it's DIY, the labels were all in Chinese so would also recommend adding English so it's more accessible. We ordered a bunch of different dishes to try. I really liked the shrimp paste, they came in a heart shape, it was so cute! I also ordered some stuffed tofu which came imprinted with the Chinese letter for "good luck" on the surface, really appreciated that element of detail. We really enjoyed our experience here from the meat to the seafood, and the vegetables. The one suggestion from the vegetables would be to add lotus, it's one of our favorite foods for hotpot. This was a nice treat we got to experience. We had a reservation and were promptly led to our private room. The interior was dark and interesting. We ordered tons of the sashimi and we loved the white tuna, very smooth and rich. The sauce cart was conveniently placed outside as soon as we ordered. We started off with oysters and sashimi while we waited for our hotpot broth to arrive. The sashimi was very fresh and the oysters came with a dollop of slightly spicy red sauce. We then irdered soy milk and fresh pomello and honey juice. You could tell it was fresh because it had pulp that seemed like it was squeezed through. We ordered plenty of meats and seafood for our soup. I think the price is valid for the amount of AYCE seafood available. The appetizer/ side dishes were so good too. Incredible! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere and service were five star. I love the "all-suite" concept where each table has its own private room. There are sharing and individual options, so be sure to specify your preference in advance (see photos). Bountiful menu with way more options that I've had at other hot pot places, and not just quantity, but quality. For starters we had boneless Chicken Feet, which for someone who doesn't like Chicken feet made it extremely tolerable, dare I say enjoyable! I was reluctant to get the Fried Crispy Pork owing to previous let downs, but this one was very good. I love that they use Pork Belly for this instead of tenderloin. Wasn't perfect, but a solid 4.5. They were all better than expected - again, not a sushi restaurant so don't come here just for this, but perfectly acceptable and enjoyable. *** WARNING *** I really like shrimp, and can appreciate my seafood being fresh, and even picking a fish to be killed in front of me and cut up. HOWEVER, today was a first for me and I'm not sure how I feel about it. They serve "Live Shrimps" that have been impaled by a skewer and served while still frantically kicking their legs and moving around. So you're looking at about $60 more or less depending on the your broth. They had shabu shabu (individual) and traditional (family style) where you share the broth... . They have private/separate rooms rather than out in the open. . I think for the most part they are just OK.. they didn't have the largest variety of meats, and their sushi was even less variety. You can google/Yelp for menu... . We got a split pot, tomato and winter melon. The broths were not deep/rich in flavor. If it were good, you can sometimes skip the sauce, but you'll need sauce. And their sauce station was pretty weak. They don't have a area but rather a push cart that they can push to your table... . The service was ok, pretty attentive when you need them. Missed some items... It's also great they have a garbage can under the table. I'm one of those that cleans every splatter lol... . The meats were good, maybe the best part. Veggies are veggies. Otherwise, all else was something we can easily get at the supermarket. . For about $60 (not including tax and tip), I may have expected the quality/options to be better. Came back here with friends. This place has become a disappointment. Everything on tablet is pretty much sold out for an all you can eat place. You can only order from their waiter. We complained to let them know to the staff and manager. But they said the owner is trying something new with this where you order with the waiter. But you are here to eat with a limited time. When you order something with them. It takes awhile to come out. On top of that they forget something's we order. Or our hot tea we ordered from when we sat down. Never came out. They gave complimentary watermelon juice but that doesn't help resolve anything. Only thing on tablet you can order is things you pay for. I was able to get a same day reservation for 6 which was nice. When we got there, there was a bit of a wait ~15 mins but not too long. I'm not sure if the entire restaurant is like this but we had our own small private booth with a sliding door which for our party perfectly. We ordered a handful of sashimi and a bunch of oysters to start. The oysters were decent but not amazing, not surprising given that it's AYCE. The sashimi was pretty good we got yellowtail, salmon and octopus, it seemed pretty fresh and served over a bed of ice. We were also gifted grilled oysters which were HUGE, as a complimentary item for their anniversary. Now the hot pot, the meat seemed pretty high quality to me. I loved the fatty beef and my family enjoyed the snowflake beef. We also got a bunch of seafood like crabs, clams and more, all of which were very fresh. Definitely recommend the shrimp too, they were super big and plump. They also had a wide assortment of veggies, noodles and fish cake - all that you would want for hot pot. The broth was the only area that I felt like fell a bit below my expectations. The tomato broth had a good tomato flavor but was a bit salty for my taste, I wished it was sweeter. The pork bone broth, herbal broth and mushroom broth kind of tasted similar to me. I wished there was a bit more to the broth. I've worked at 3 shabu/hotpot restaurants- so I'm very aware of the work it takes to offer a good experience. My husband and I have come to this restaurant about 5 times in the past 3 years. There's been a year in 2022 where we were unhappy with our experiences, but we enjoyed the first few visits there, which is why we've returned obviously. We decided to give it another try this visit back to NY and we wanted to make it a point to write a review to say that our experience was top notch this time. I appreciated how the booths are set up so you have a very private dining experience, but immediately was a bit turned off by the service. We were a pretty large and hungry group, so naturally had a long list of items on our first order, but our waitress gave off very impatient vibes. After ordering, I asked another waitress where the restroom was, only to have her point in a very general direction without even looking up from her work iPad. The sashimi was fresh given that it was ayce and the quality of the hotpot food was average. I'm not sure if I'd say completely worth the price given that you have to pay an additional $5-6 for your broth. Why not just include that in the base price? The portion size was a bit inconsistent. For example, a mountain of tripe was given but only 6 fish tofu pieces, resulting in us constantly having to reorder. There were also multiple instances where they either missed items, duplicated items, or gave us items we didn't even order. I got the spicy Mala broth which was standard but quite oily - I am normally guilty of drinking some of the broth but steered clear of it this time as it completely congealed in my bowl after a couple minutes break during the meal. If you reserve a room for 8 guests and up, there are private rooms in the lower level with KTV. The time limit is 2 hours but they let us stay until 11pm. The service was great and the food was plentiful with good portion sizes. The menu is extensive for an all you can eat place including shrimp cocktail, oysters, crabs, jumbo prawns, and various cuts of beef. The food and soup bases are 4/5 in terms of quality. What a difference between this expensive AYCE hot pot restaurant versus the cheaper one like the 99 hotpot, half of block down the same street. Price might be 2.5 times more but the quality was so much better. The final price was about $75 to $80 a person. Raw oysters and sashimi were all fresh. The oysters were a bit small compared to a la carte and it wasn't worth reordering it. We did get multiple orders of yellowtail and sea scallop sashimi. I can only said once the orders were taken, it came super fast. If you even been to those cheaper AYCE restaurants, anything expensive will take about 20 to 30 minutes before landing on the table. We re-ordered approximately 6 times and the speed never disappoints. The same situation happened when we re-ordered raw food for the hotpot. The kitchen really prepared everything fast. Love their handling speed. There are two style of hot pot, individual or family style. We got the family style with one soup base on each side. Came to check this place out after my bestfran saw it on Tiktok. We both love hotpot and sashimi, and it looked bomb in the video, so why not?? We wound up at the wrong hotpot restaurant at first, but thankfully found our way here. The entrance was a lil shabby...bulk supplies like paper towels and stuff on the floor next to the front desk, but maybe they've fixed it now. We were also a little surprised that there was no wait compared to the other place. Better for our hungry selves! Dining is very private; every party gets their own individual room. We were pleasantly surprised at this, but were also shocked when we were placed at a table with no one to explain the menu to us or how the ordering system worked. Finally we pressed the call button and someone came with no greeting, just ready to note down everything we wanted to order as we flipped through their ginormous menubook. Then, it was time to make our sauce, and it was the most bizarre sauce system ever. They had a sauce cart that they push down the hall upon request but it doesn't even completely fit at the doorway. We had to lean our bodies out to get access to some items, while people were walking back and forth in the hallway. Our food came, and it was mostly good, but nothing outstanding. Party of 3...Initial cost per person $51.99 (if over 145cm = ~4' 9"). A small pot is $5.50, and large pot is $18.50. Cost: $155.97 (base fee for 3) + $16.50 (3 soups) = $172.47 (subtotal) + $15.31 (tax @8.875%) = $187.78 Two types of booths (from what I could see): one was for the combo pot for two different broths, and the other was individual pots (4). We asked to be in the individual pots booth. My party ordered the small pork bone soup, small mixed mushroom soup, and small spicy skewers soup. There is also a small sauce bar that gets rolled to your booth. All 3 soup bases were very rich from the start. All the food ordered were fresh and delicious. The staff was very friendly and would regularly come by to change out our plates/remove empty plates from the room. The only hiccup is that some items ordered didn't come and some that we didn't order showed up but we didn't notice until the end (thankfully it was only 3 appetizers). On that note they pretty much forced us to get a large soup bases because our table only had big burners... and then there was no space to put the food. May be the best tasting and most flavorful hotpot in flushing. Straight up fire if you can eat the value back. It has a good variety of seafood, meats and veggies + desert. Sashimi being part of the unlimited menu is great for people who don't want to hotpot but want to join in on the fun. 37 Alley provides an incredible experience and is, by far, the best AYCE hot pot restaurant I've been to. The quality of the food is top notch, and the extensive menu is quite luxurious. I don't usually care for service/ambiance in my reviews, but both of these qualities were remarkable. My party of two had a reservation around noon on a Wednesday and were promptly seated in a semi-private room with a shared pot (they also have personal pot options). The pot was a huge square settled over an induction burner with plenty of space for any ingredients you'd like to add. There is also a small table for extra dishes or waste. The restaurant has a couple of sauce carts with 12 classic hot pot condiments including shacha bbq sauce, seafood sauce, tahini sesame paste, minced garlic, green onions, etc. The room and bathrooms were quite clean and in good shape. The restaurant had some chill Chinese pop music going, a subtle way to keep conversations between rooms sufficiently private without using loud jarring club music like some other restaurants seem to do. The service was notable. The staffers were friendly, bilingual, and highly attentive (there were at least 3 staff taking care of the various private rooms). They would remove empty dishes quickly, replace messy plates without being asked, and were quick and quiet about their work. The menu selection and quality really justify the price point for this establishment. Highlights of the menu included at least 7 thin sliced beef options, a decent variety of sashimi, geoduck, Australian lobster, king crab, oysters, live shrimp, prawns, crab legs, shrimp cocktails, clams, mussels, scallops, carp, Japanese tofu. This is all on top of 6 different soup bases to choose from and classic hot pot items. Not only is the menu selection extensive, the quality of the food was really as fresh as what I'd expect from a fish market. The scallops tasted sweet and firm. The live shrimp were tender. The salmon and yellowtail sashimi were firm and fresh. Oysters were oh so succulent. Even the crispy pork (basically popcorn chicken but with pork) were juicy, perfectly seasoned, and not too oily. The Japanese tofu was like a soft tofu yet held its shape incredibly well. There was no limit to how much we could order (you must pay for what you don't finish, of course), so we could have asked for all lobsters and oysters if we wanted to! Just be aware that there is an extra charge for uni but not for normally luxury items like lobster, sashimi, etc. The only items that I didn't particularly enjoy were the cucumber salad (too chunky and not seasoned too well) or the gizzard (I prefer this at yakitori cooked over an open flame), but everything else was amazing. Had a great time here with a big group of 14. We got a room downstairs that also had KTV! Even though some seafood was extra and also soup is not included in the AYCE pricing, the variety is extensive. (The sushi was surprisingly decent - the scallop was my favorite. Oysters and cold appetizers were weaker.) The price is well worth having a form of entertainment throughout the dinner. We stayed until almost closing and no one rushed us out. I will say that the servers need to be more knowledgeable about what alcohol they have to offer. I came here on a Thursday night and got seated in a private room. I like that there's a call button on the wall whenever you need service. There's AYCE sashimi, hot pot, and appetizers. We ordered the pork bone broth/tomato broth for the hot pot. The pork bone broth had actually pork bones in it which made it more flavorful. The sashimi was pretty fresh for AYCE. I really liked the white tuna, the salmon, and the octopus. I also liked the oysters but wish the cocktail sauce was on the side since I don't really put too much if it usually. As for the hot pot, there was a good selection of meat, seafood, vegetables, and other frozen items. I really liked the snowflake beef, fatty beef, and shrimp for hot pot. The shrimp were huge! There were items that aren't at other hot pot places like frog legs, Japanese tofu, and fish roe lucky purses. Service was fast and helpful. I would definitely come back! When we first walked in, we got a very traditional Chinese dining atmosphere, but what really impressed me was the private party seating. Each party pretty much has their own room and inside the room, there is a bell that we can ring for servers. I pressed it and servers would come within 2 minutes. In terms of food, there are lots of options ranging from seafood like oysters, fresh live shrimp, sashimi, clams, crab, etc. The meats also included snowflake beef, fatty beef, wagyu beef. The all you can eat made it such a steal for all these items!! My favorite item was definitely the shrimp paste- which is ground shrimp that you scoop and throw into the broth, it was so fresh and so tasty!! What a great addition to flushing! This place is easy to miss from the outside and I believe it's fairly new to the neighborhood. It's a premium all you can eat seafood hotpot place for $48.80 per person, but is not limited to just seafood. They've a huge variety of balls, meat and veggies as well. The decor here is awesome. Upon entrance, there is a host to check you into your own private dining booth. They even bring the carts of sauces over to you! My group of 4 ordered sashimi and oysters which are included in the price, live shrimp, fatty beef, premium fatty beef, duck blood, beef tripe and an assortment of veggies. Can you feel the heat? Hot pot is not for the faint of heart or stomachs. The mix of the peppers and peppercorns and even the spicy ginger are no joke. It may not seem too spicy at first but the zing hits you later. Its a slow burn that excites your tastebuds and is very addicting which is why I when I heard about 37 Alley I definitely wanted to try their version of seafood hotpot and knowing its All You Can Eat it was a definite go. Hot pot is a meal best enjoyed at a leisurely pace. It is a communal meal that takes a lot of time to enjoy in stages. I usually like to start off with the meat, then the fish, the fish balls and tofu, then add the veggies, last is noodles so you don't fill up too soon and then drink the soup. 37 Alley offers a pot with two sides. Two flavors makes everyone happy. I am a spice lover so I opted for the spicy malatang broth and my friend ordered the pork bone broth. They even had a tomato broth, wintermelon soup and herbal soup base. They continually refill the broth as your soup evaporates. It made me happy to start off my meal with some sashimi before getting to the main event. They had yellowtail, salmon, tuna and more. The white tuna and salmon was soft and melt in your mouth and the chilled cucumber salad and blueberry radish was nice and crunchy and helped to soothe my mouth between bites with a tangy sweet kiss. Be ready to want to order the whole menu as this is an AYCE spot. The price is worth it since if you ordered all this seafood a la carte it would definitely be more. I didn't get to fully peruse the menu since the waitress was eager to take our order and we may have missed some things since there was so much on the menu. My friend likes fish and seafood more which was fine since they specialize in seafood hotpot. The seafood was very fresh. The sliced octopus was my absolute favorite. The clams made me happy as a clam. They also have special skewered shrimp which looked fun to try and made it look easy to cook and eat. They have a good selection of meat but since it was lunch I only ordered the sliced lamb and snowflake beef. For me ordering lamb is a must when you go to any hotpot. The sliced lamb pairs well with the warm spices. The snowflake beef was very tender and soft and sliced very thin for faster cooking. A 10 second dip and it should be done. We also ordered two types of tripe as I like eating spicy tripe. It was really good cooked with the soup and not too tough. The wagyu looked super tasty but I did not know if I could finish it and I did not want it to go to waste. We tried the Japanese tofu but we preferred the fried fish tofu and fried tofu skins instead. The doughy fried fish tofu soaks in all those good flavors. Fishballs are definitely the second most important thing to get at any hotpot so we ordered some bouncy cuttlefish balls to bob around in our hotpot. I also enjoyed the shrimp paste with the roe which you drop into the pot by the spoonful and makes little round tasty balls like a fish ball. The fish was good however there were some tiny pin bones in the live swimming fish order but it comes with the territory when you eat any fish that can happen. We had some ramen to finish our meal. The noodles are a great vehicle to absorb the flavors of all the oils from the meat in the broth. They bring the sauce station to the entrance of your room so you can make your own special concoction for dipping but the broth was so good I didn't really dip too much. I usually have a mix of chili sauce, chili oil, sambal hot sauce, garlic, black vinegar, soy, and peanut sauce for some creaminess. We got a carafe of the honey grapefruit drink which was super refreshing after all of the spicy food and a good palate cleanser. The waitstaff constantly checked on us and even refilled our soup 3 times. The food came quickly. They were all nice and courteous and they even speak Mandarin and Cantonese. These private booths are great for a lunch date or a private rendezvous with your hot pot loving lover. They could fit 4 comfortably and for 2 people it was super roomy. Being in a private room helped us to focus on the conversation and the food without the din of a large dining room which to me is the perfect dining setting especially not having to rub elbows with other germy strangers. They even have other rooms for larger parties if you decide to bring your crew. The décor looked very wabi sabi and minimalistic yet comfortable. This is a great place for hotpot if you are a seafood lover especially after a night of debauchery as they're open late until midnight or good for a small family dinner. For my hot pot I had a 2-broth split pot of the special herbal soup and the spicy skewer soup.
