I'm just so glad to find a coffee options that's not Starbucks. I walked to this shop from my hotel and I was pleasantly surprised by the coffee and the massive croissants. Would definitely go back!

What's great about this place is the super convenient location. Unlike other coffee spots in casino hotels, this one is right next to the guest elevators... making it so easy to slip downstairs early in the morning to grab some much-needed coffee. Prices are a bit higher than what you might find at a Starbucks, but this IS inside the Delano and again, you didn't walk a mile through smoke cloaked slot machines to get here. They have a small but interesting menu of food choices. I liked the pastry sampler (something like a bakers basket?? forget the proper name) which consisted of three mini pastries. Not the most delicious baked goods you'll ever have, but definitely enough to get you going in the morning. There is a cool seating area if you feel like getting dressed and taking your coffee and pastries in public. This is one of the great features of staying at the Delano and I'm so glad they're open for business again!

Over priced average food & drinks. I mean you can't expect much from a cafe inside a hotel. Still waiting to find one that's actually worth the high cost. Still love Delano as a hotel.

Convenient location if you are a guest at Delano! But as others have mentioned before - try to go early or later because during morning rush hour (9-11), the line gets really backed up. There were only 2 workers and they would prep the meal/drink that was just ordered right then and there which I guess is good to get your items asap. Prices are quite high.. $12.99 for the brioche breakfast sandwich and $5.99 for a coffee but they were tasty! Skip out on the madeline to go pastry though - those were not yum. The white mocha caffe was sweet and perfect for my sweet tooth self. Hubs thought the ice cafe latte was decent.

Visited this cafe on the word of a friend and was pleasantly surprised with the coffee here. I ordered an Americano and was pleased with how strong the espresso was. I prefer to savor the taste of the coffee itself and then water it down with creme and sugar. I also grabbed breakfast here with a cup of oats in the goji blueberry flavor. It was great and was not at all sweet. You could taste the oats. The atmosphere surrounding this cafe is great with natural wood on the floor and the paneling too. I enjoy walking through the Delano, what a beautiful hotel it is. Now I know that the coffee here may be a little pricey for us locals that I am all into paying for great quality. This little shop delivers both.

Coffee shop that can also serve as pastry shop. Located in Mandalay Bay/Delano hotels on the Vegas strip, 3940 is a nice place to relax, drink coffee and have some sweets! Friendly staff and posh environment. Desserts are great, and the only down side to the overall experience is a price-hence the 4 stars! Two regular coffees and two desserts will run you about $30.

3940 Coffee and Tea We had an early morning appointment to get to and strolled into 3940 Coffee and Tea for coffee and a quick breakfast. What a disaster... it was only 10 AM on a Friday and they were out of everything we asked for: - NO Parfait Yogurt - NO marshmallow whipped cream for my S'mores Mocha coffee - NO bagels for my kids - NO Half & Half in the pitchers OATMEAL: At least they had the most delicious oatmeal called "Nuts and Seeds." That was the only thing that saved our hungry tummies. WARNING: if you don't get there by 8:30 AM, they may not be stocked with anything you desire. * 30 MINUTE WAIT ON HOT ITEMS: ALL of the HOT breakfast items such as the breakfast burrito, croissant sandwich, and any sandwich for that matter comes from next-door and is a 30 minute wait. They should post a sign so people won't be disappointed and will head down from their room with the wiggle room to wait. * here is a picture of their very empty cabinet and the only food you see in the picture is from next-door with a 30 minute wait. We spent $45 for coffee and oatmeal.

I haven't had a beignet since I was in New Orleans, so I was really excited to see them here! I ordered the beignets, which were $8 for two pieces, and honestly, I didn't think that was a bad price. They make them fresh, so they came out incredibly hot and covered in a generous amount of powdered sugar. They were literally AMAZING! They were warm, fluffy, fresh, and everything I was hoping for. If you love beignets, I definitely recommend stopping here. I'm so glad I did!

We could only use it at a short list of designated eateries. 2. Most of these were quite busy at 11:00 on a Sunday morning, or else they were actually just Starbucks. 3. We slept in after staying up until 4:00 and had about half an hour after packing to buy food, check out, and leave for the airport. Once we eliminated all the unrealistic and unappealing options, we were left with District: Donuts. Sliders. Brew. Like most of its neighbors on the third level of the Cosmo, District is an outpost of a popular restaurant from another state, in this case, Louisiana. The Vegas location is a small, busy take-out shop with a takeout menu featuring donuts, sliders, and brew. There was a short line, and we split up in order to get to the airport on time. I was dropping postcards off at the FedEx while one of my friends waited to check out and the other to order our sustenance. I relieved her once the order was in, so she could then head to check-out. Took some choreography, but we got our free brunch. I don't know what ordering was like, but pick-up was okay, except that they called my name at what must have been a low volume, then acted annoyed when I went to get our food, like they'd been waiting on me forever. Sorry, I guess? The food was okay. We took it to go and ate at our gate, so we didn't enjoy it fresh out of the oven/fryer/whatever. I got the hot chicken and honey butter French toast biscuit, and it was heavy on the honey and light on the heat. Not terrible, but definitely sweet. I got tired of eating it about halfway through. I tried some of my friends' burrito and beignets, and both were solid enough if not that interesting. The high roller burrito came with chorizo lardons, egg scramble, havarti, sweet potato, pico, and jalapeño sauce. The beignets were traditional New Orleans-style fried donuts, fluffy and coated with powdered sugar. It's possible I don't have the sweet tooth for a meal from a donut shop, so if you like your sugar, you might enjoy District more than I did. In any case, it was better than a sad Starbucks sandwich, a worthwhile way to spend our credit.

Tra Viet is located on the 2nd floor of the Venetian in the canal shops. If you take the escalator by the food court and then head to the shops, it'll be right there. It's a super tiny place. They have 3 kiosks you can order from. There was one person working the counter that could also take the order. I love coffee and I've never had Vietnamese coffee before, so I was super excited to try this. I went with the classic Viet. If you can make a normal coffee well, it's going to be a winner in my book. It was sweetened with condensed milk, which made it unique and absolutely delicious. Smooth coffee flavor and not too overly sweet. Came in a cool can that was mixed by a machine before serving. Only wish I had, was that I could pop the top off and get the very last of the coffee from the bottom. The ice blocked it. My husband got the jasmine milk tea and said it was fantastic as well. I'm never happy about the prices in Vegas but it is what it is. For $9 a pop, it was worth it. Next time we're in Vegas this will be our first stop for coffee. Can't wait to try all the flavors.

I love trying Vietnamese coffee whenever I get the chance, and this one was super tasty, creamy and definitely hit the spot. It is quite pricey, especially as a Canadian once you factor in the exchange rate, but honestly that was expected given the location inside the Venetian. There was also quite a bit of ice in the drink, so the portion felt a little small for the price, but expected since it was Vegas ! Overall, a great experience and really tasty Vietnamese coffee. I'd definitely recommend stopping by if you're already exploring the Grand Canal Shoppes and want a good coffee pick-me-up.
