My…read morefamily and I had rented this home 2 summers ago from Lila Delman...we put a $1000 deposit on the house and received the entire deposit back when we left as we left the home in immaculate condition. This year we rented the home direct from Emma Rose and also gave her $1000 deposit. The morning we left the house we spent 4 hours cleaning the entire house from top to bottom even though we had already paid Emma Rose a $350 cleaning fee and were under no obligation to do so....we wanted to leave the house in the same condition it was in when we arrived & left it the way we would want someone to leave our home! We had 2 dogs with us and were so thankful we were able to bring them that we cleaned, swept and swiffered the house on a daily basis to leave no trace that dogs were even there. We also had all trash removed at our expense even though that was also included in the cleaning fee that we paid her. When we contacted her to get our deposit back she claimed the house was left in a filthy condition with "sand" & garbage everywhere and that she would not be returning our deposit. A week had passed since we had left and in that time she made no attempt to contact us about the condition that we "supposedly" left the house in! It was only after I contacted her did she start coming up with completely false accusations. I am appalled at the lie upon lie she is willing to tell in order to keep our $1000! Rent at your own risk & document absolutely everything you can! Beware....large rats on the property also!

I thought we had a room at the Sea Shell Motel but since I had my dog, we were actually put into an…read moreapartment-style, rental a few blocks from the main Motel / check in for a Friday / Saturday night stay. The desk staff (Chris) was super friendly and helpful when we asked questions. This apartment was a one bedroom, 2nd floor unit with a wood deck, siding glass doors, a Double bed, full living room with couch, tv and 2 top table with chairs. The couch was quite dated and should be replaced with a pull out bed type set up - but for two adults, it was not an issue. The sliding glass door used to enter the unit could use a serious cleaning / tune up and did not slide as it should have - we managed to make it work. If I had been staying more than 2 nights I would have been pretty annoyed by it. The bedroom has a large closet for storing bags and clothes and there was also a smaller closet in the living room that had an ironing board and iron, inside. The kitchenette (thinking we would be at a motel) was unexpected and much appreciated. There was a mini fridge, microwave, utensils, drinkware, dishes, pots and pans! We made good use of the outdoor gas grill - we did spend some time cleaning it deeply! - but once cleaned, it seared our steaks like a charm! We found ready to eat sides and the delicious NY Strip Steaks at the nearby, Dunn's Marketplace and enjoyed a leisurely dinner on the patio prior to heading out for the night. All in all this was a fairly inexpensive way to enjoy Misquamicut beach, the nearby restaurants and beautiful summertime views with friends (a couple stayed in a sister property hotel closer to the main drag) and my dog! I would come back again!

He was just a troublemaker!as far as his bronco is concerned I can post a picture and show everybody exactly what condition that bronco was in. Saying my grandson scratched it. Oh by the way we have a ring camera right at the office clear shot to your truck . You didn't get no thousand dollar paint job! The bronco wasn't even worth $1000. You didn't even make it a month here because you caused so many problems with other people here! And you absolutely did get thrown out but you did get your rent back and you did get your full security deposit back so don't lie and say you didn't. You wouldn't go anywhere unless you got this money back! You were the lowlife here and the slob. Do u Realize how bad your room stunk of booze when you left? And your drunken ass was doing nothing here but approaching women and starting shit with them. So you need to stop talking about the situation because that happened over three years ago and you're still whining about it! You filed a false DCF report and you lied about scratching your truck and you did get all your rent and your money back! And you did nothing but harass women when you were here! Pool was open and heated, we enjoyed the indoor pool table. Only downside is this is a timeshare, we just rented for the weekend, we not owners. The front desk is only staffed during normal business hours. We took a late ferry, so check-in and getting keys was complicated.
