PLEASE READ FULL REVIEW. The shop is located off the freeway and it does not look like your modern shops; however, there is no need to worry. There is a lock on the door and you must be "buzzed" in because there are a lot of solicitors and neighborhood locals that like to stop. New customers are always the individuals that feel unsafe and reference the area as "hood." Walk-ins are welcomed; BUT, everyone KNOWs TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. So please don't expect to be waited on immediately. If you make an appointment, it will be rare that the ladies will be behind. It it mainly due to the previous customer running late. The ladies will work nonstop to make sure everyone is taken care of... I've witnessed this on several occasions, especially on weekends and holidays. Most people, including men, will come for pedicures and manicures. Spring & Kim are the BEST and will NOT Rush through your services. I've seen some horrible feet over the years and they put their time in. If you remember the episode of Martin when Myra needed a pedicure yeah it's like that. They will take their time to remove any/ all dead skin from your feet. And that's why I believe so many men come without their wives. Lol, they know to book their own appointments. Tina is the main lady that does nails and her customers will not let anyone else touch their hand but her. Thus, you will be waiting. I love how she takes her time shaping your nails properly and cleaning your cuticles. There have been times when I was not happy (ugly colors I chose) with my nails & Tina took the time to redo without an attitude and additional charge. Overall, you will notice that this shop has very loyal customers. I've been attending this shop w/my grandmother as a kid and I am an middle age adult. And like most customers, I rather come here for good quality service and family laugh. Everyone talks to everyone here. Even if you speak Spanish, the ladies have a little learned from over the years and will make sure you're included in the conversation as well. You won't find many reviews from their regular customers, because most of them are older and really don't turn to Yelp for reviews. So the reviews posted will not be from your 20+ years customers... it's from the NewNews that just googled "nail shops near me" PS. Prices have been the SAME for over $20 years. And they now accept credit cards and Apple Pay. They stuck to cash only due to possibly of ppl using stolen accounts. Hope to meet you there one day.

I've only been twice so far, but already know I don't ever want to take my business elsewhere. The first time I got a luminary overlay set with gel polish and the second time I got a fill in with gel polish as well. They didn't chip or lift for FIVE WEEKS. Hayley did the cutest designs, was very meticulous, and is all about the customer experience. The whole salon is, really... did I mention they offer complimentary mimosas?! I cannot stress enough how satisfied with the work they do and their customer service. They're in the process of onboarding some amazing new nail techs as well. It was too hot, blocked from my skin with just a paper towel (vs an actual towel) that did nothing to block the heat. And the smell wasnt pleasing. All sensory issues aside, the pedicure and massage were just okay. There was no real cuticle trim and a weird pressure loofah experience. The color i chose was horrible, by the time she realized i really did hate it, i told her i did, j just wanted out of the chair. My parrafin went on after my polish. The whole experience was weird and I opted to forgo the manicure. They weren't busy and when I told them why when I paid, I was told we'll you didnt tell me. What absolute crap customer service. I only took off one star because I was charged 20 dollars to remove the gel. When I checked the website the pricing to remove acrylic without service is $13.00. I was definitely overcharged but I really needed it removed before a morning meeting the next day and had no where else to go. For that reason I question if o would return.

I wanted to try another Nails of America and see if I could find my new salon. Parking at this location is really easy in the attached garage. I really appreciate areas in the heights that have good parking. I got a shellac gel manicure with added pearl chrome, which was an additional $15. I also got a pedicure. I really liked both of my technicians and I wish I would've gotten their names. They both took their time and the quality was excellent. I especially enjoyed how long they left the paraffin wax on my feet. They have a happy hour 9 AM to 2 PM every weekday. Unfortunately, they do not have the same specials as the other locations. I went on a Tuesday hoping that they had the 10% off for teachers like the other locations have. They did not, but I did get 5% off for writing a Google and yelp review.
