We were seated within 20 seconds. It was a lovely day outside, so we decided to eat outside. First off, our server, I did not get his name, was absolutely incredible. Super chill dude. He took out orders, and it seemed like no time had passed before our orders arrived. One of us had the biscuits salmon. One of us had an omelette with a side of greens and I had the backyard burger. All 3 items were just wow. We all exclaimed that we had never had amazing food like this ever. The food was piping hot, fresh, and out of this world... Secondly, if you're an animal lover (specifically dogs), this place is amazing. We saw so many dogs (many of them service animals), and some of them were just household pets, so we got to pet them. Absolutely amazing place and we've all agreed and vowed that we'll go back there soon. A solid 100/100 review.

I mention this because it's a welcomed change to the all black uniform norm in most restaurants. The decor is very bright and vibrant. Giving summer time energy. Our server Tyler provided excellent customer service. Attentive and respectful. We ordered the chicken and waffles an omelette and sweet potato fries. The food was really tasty and the portions were plentiful. The lemonade was a refreshing treat on a hot summer day. Will return for another visit.

Went to dinner expecting great things but what we got was just mediocre…read more The menu looked amazing and it was hard to decide, we got 2 appetizers and a salad to share. We got the butternut squash which sounded very fancy on the menu but was just butternut squash with a piece of fried prosciutto stuck in each portion on top of cacio e pepe sauce which by the way was broken. We also got what we thought was going to be artichokes on a bed of arugula but was mostly arugula with a few small pieces of artichoke and some pistachios. It was bland, definitely needed some vinegar or lemon or something. Not worth the price, I could have thrown that together myself at home. We also had the spinach/pear salad. Again, I could have made that at home. I got the lemon shrimp linguine. I liked the pasta, I liked the sauce, I did not like the shrimp that came with it. They were tiny and maybe boiled, just not great. We also had the ravioli. One big extremely dense ravioli, raviolo or whatever a singular one is technically called. It was ok but so dense and rich. We also had the bolognese. Not the best. For the prices we paid we expected greatness. We each had dessert. So for the 3 of us the bill came to almost $300 with tip. I personally felt like the service did not warrant the tip but we left it anyway. We weren't checked on, we had to wait a long time to get the bill and we paid by phone app. The service wasn't great. I think the best part of the entire night was the little bucket of candy that we got with the check. The gummy butterfly was delicious! No, we won't be back.

For…read morethis reason, it is important that you know that Edoardo's makes the top five for me in this area. We decided to dine at Edoardo's before the annual Hitchcock film series at Cinema Arts Center, less than a mile away. Parking was relatively easy for a Saturday evening, on-street and a short stroll to the entrance. The interior is bright and inviting, while also giving off the vibe of being in an Italian cafe. Something about the decor made me want to drink espresso and enjoy a lot of things flavored with lemon. Our drink order was taken immediately, and shortly thereafter, our whiskey sour and sauvignon blanc were delivered to the table. The tomato salad was delicious. Highly recommend. I had the linguini al limone, which is a regular on the menu. It was the perfect balance of pasta, lemon, and shrimp. He had the pasta special that evening, which was gnocchi with a short rib ragu. After our entrees, I realized that the gentleman who took our order was none other than Edoardo himself! What a kind, humble, and highly talented chef. He was raised in Torino, by way of Ecuador. Such a sweet man, with a lot to say about growing up in Italy. He recommended that we share the sfogliatelle for dessert, which we did, with coffee as our accompaniment. All of the pasta and desserts are made on-site, made fresh daily. This is a great venue for a family dinner, a date night, a special occasion, or a random weekday when you are craving authentic Italian cuisine. It is a shining star on the list of places you could choose from when dining in Huntington.

The only other people in the restaurant were 2 people at the high top by the bar. The first two drinks we ordered took almost 20min to arrive. Our group of 6 (once all arrived) then ordered more drinks which took also a very long time. The food was awful. Chicken breast so thick and dry, and not to mention the plates they use you couldn't actually cut it on because it was a bowl. The pasta over cooked and falling apart. The rice balls had consistency of a mashed potato. The cacio de Pepe was more like buttered noodles. Not to mention the portion size for the prices they charge. The poached pear salad was outstanding. Our last drink was ordered as some food arrived and didn't show up until the check was being paid. If you have a small menu like them, you should be able to execute it well.

When we walked inside, we were pleasantly surprised to find a dining area you wouldn't notice from the outside. That's where my husband and I were seated. It was a very busy Friday night, so the staff was definitely juggling a lot, but they still managed to be attentive and friendly. The space isn't huge, which actually made it feel cozy and helped the service stay smooth even with the crowd. We ordered the Big Cheese pizza and loved it. The prosciutto was such a nice touch, and it seemed to be a popular order -- we noticed a few other tables enjoying the same pizza along with calamari and meatballs to share. Clearly, their comfort classics are a hit. The bar area is small but full of energy and had a really nice vibe. Overall, Ella's is a cute, cozy pizzeria with great food and a convenient location. We'd definitely come back!

When I reserved, I confirmed there would be live music. I got a call last minute that they cancelled the music. We had plans with friends and went anyway. The entrance portrays a speakeasy vibe which is done very nicely. The bartender was friendly, and overall service was solid 4. Appetizers were good. We had a special tasty empanada, fresh corn salad, crab cake and fried calamari. The corn salad had fresh greens and was tasty. It had a nice flavor and definitely refreshing. The crab cake was delicious. The calamari was ok. Restaurant has a limited menu, but enough selection in the few menu choices. When it came to main entrees sadly, they were out of lobster ravioli and lobster mac & cheese. The beef Wellington was a bit dry and overcooked (not medium rare as ordered) and plain-looking as it was sitting alone on the large plate. Desserts were excellent. We had homemade Oreo cake with fresh whipped cream and a very delicious creamy cheesecake. Absolute a five star for desserts. Overall: 3.5. Dead Chef's Tasting Menu at At 1654 Pizza Company - A Gold Coast Supper Club Experience Last night on Long Island's Gold Coast, I had the pleasure of experiencing something truly special: Dead Chef's tasting menu at At 1654 Pizza Company in Huntington. What unfolded wasn't just a dinner, but a full-on culinary performance that transformed the idea of a neighborhood pizza spot into a hidden gem supper club. The evening unfolded course after course, each dish layered with creativity, bold flavors, and a touch of surprise. From refined takes on comfort food to plates that made you pause and savor every detail, it was clear that this wasn't a typical night out--it was a carefully curated journey meant to linger in memory. The atmosphere matched the menu: intimate, buzzing with energy, and elevated by a sense of discovery. Every dish felt like a conversation, and the storytelling behind the flavors was as captivating as the food itself. Outstanding is the only word that fits--yet still feels like an understatement. This wasn't just a meal; it was an experience that makes you excited for what's next.

As soon as I got home I told my fiancé how delicious it was and we will be coming for dinner! Owner Frank was great too. He stopped by our table a few times and also saw me leaving and was friendly and personable. Our sever for the evening was Caitlin and she was great too. Super on top of everything and consistently asked us if we needed anything and if we were good on drinks. When she found out we didn't get one of the courses for the evening she fixed that and brought it out in under 5 minutes. The bathroom was clean and cozy. When is a bathroom ever cozy?! There were candles and the decor is nice. It's always nice to sit on the throne by candlelight! Great experience and delish food!! Can't wait to return.
