Went to dinner expecting great things but what we got was just mediocre. The menu looked amazing and it was hard to decide, we got 2 appetizers and a salad to share. We got the butternut squash which sounded very fancy on the menu but was just butternut squash with a piece of fried prosciutto stuck in each portion on top of cacio e pepe sauce which by the way was broken. We also got what we thought was going to be artichokes on a bed of arugula but was mostly arugula with a few small pieces of artichoke and some pistachios. It was bland, definitely needed some vinegar or lemon or something. Not worth the price, I could have thrown that together myself at home. We also had the spinach/pear salad. Again, I could have made that at home. I got the lemon shrimp linguine. I liked the pasta, I liked the sauce, I did not like the shrimp that came with it. They were tiny and maybe boiled, just not great. We also had the ravioli. One big extremely dense ravioli, raviolo or whatever a singular one is technically called. It was ok but so dense and rich. We also had the bolognese. Not the best. For the prices we paid we expected greatness. We each had dessert. So for the 3 of us the bill came to almost $300 with tip. I personally felt like the service did not warrant the tip but we left it anyway. We weren't checked on, we had to wait a long time to get the bill and we paid by phone app. The service wasn't great. I think the best part of the entire night was the little bucket of candy that we got with the check. The gummy butterfly was delicious! No, we won't be back. read more

Eduardos was most accommodating by taking a late reservation and seating us at 5:45; they also accommodated our party growing to four, so we were off to a good start. Getting the last table in the rear gave us relief from the chaos of young diners by the bar and was a cozy nook. Our server was gracious and brought us a fine bottle of Barbera da Alba , as well as a bread basket and an array of olives. The breadbasket had wonderful unique bread sticks and a nice flat cracker, however the bread seemed to be an oily, mealy, whole wheat perhaps, which was a disappointment. Places can't go wrong with a good crusty Italian bread, plain and simple, but i'm finding that a rare occasion instead replaced with bad rolls or greasy prepared sub bar bread. But we were not prejudging and looked forward to our primi piatte. My wife an I opted to split the arugula and parmesan salad, although we were tempted with the gorgonzola salad; not to be too critical, but a ceaser on the menu wouldn't have been bad. But the arugula was delish and the plate a decent size to split. We followed that with the linguine nera, black squid ink with cuttlefish; It was rich and the pasta had the right amount of bite and made for a great dish. That nice piece of bread would've been welcome to scarpe the bowl! Our friend got the gnocchi, with a braised short rib, which seemed to be enjoyed, but not raved over, unlike our black pasta. Another got the veal scaloppine which received similar meh reviews. We on the other had split the pulpo with veggies and Spanish spices and enjoyed the slightly charred and tender 8 armed mollusk. Overall, all the plates looked wonderful, were abundant and made us reminicrent of times in Italy with the hung Italian ads and pics. Sufficiently sated, we had decaf coffees, a cappucino and an espresso, no desserts, but the decaffs however had a strange appearance, seemingly watery, but was hot and did the trick, as did the surprise bowl of sour gummies to close out the meal. Let me preface this with: Huntington has a lot of restaurants, and the competition is fierce. For this reason, it is important that you know that Edoardo's makes the top five for me in this area. We decided to dine at Edoardo's before the annual Hitchcock film series at Cinema Arts Center, less than a mile away. Parking was relatively easy for a Saturday evening, on-street and a short stroll to the entrance. The interior is bright and inviting, while also giving off the vibe of being in an Italian cafe. Something about the decor made me want to drink espresso and enjoy a lot of things flavored with lemon. Our drink order was taken immediately, and shortly thereafter, our whiskey sour and sauvignon blanc were delivered to the table. The tomato salad was delicious. Highly recommend. I had the linguini al limone, which is a regular on the menu. It was the perfect balance of pasta, lemon, and shrimp. He had the pasta special that evening, which was gnocchi with a short rib ragu. After our entrees, I realized that the gentleman who took our order was none other than Edoardo himself! What a kind, humble, and highly talented chef. He was raised in Torino, by way of Ecuador. Such a sweet man, with a lot to say about growing up in Italy. He recommended that we share the sfogliatelle for dessert, which we did, with coffee as our accompaniment. All of the pasta and desserts are made on-site, made fresh daily. This is a great venue for a family dinner, a date night, a special occasion, or a random weekday when you are craving authentic Italian cuisine. We have been to this establishment many times. We had a party of 6 on Friday 6/12 /26. And the tables are very small and we were seated 2ft from the next group, really tight! The service was excellent as usual. The temperature was in the 80's out side but inside was over 90 with it being packed like a can of sardines. When we asked for them to turn on the a/c we were told that it was on! Obviously it was not working, if it is not working be honest and let your patrons know if they ask that it is broken. We had to eat our entire meals with sweat pouring down our faces and our clothing sticking to our bodies. We won't be returning until the fall when it gets cooler weather outside. I've been to Italy several times and this is the best Italian restaurant in NY. I wish I could give it 6 stars! It's literally just like being in Italy. It has that quaint, cozy feeling inside. The food is absolutely incredible. So fresh with simple ingredients. Nothing is smothered in cheese like so many other "Italian" restaurants that are catering to American culture. Such a great spot for group dinners or date night. I really enjoyed the vibe and the ambiance. It's a very lively restaurant, they had great music and a nice crowd. I really liked the decor, felt very old school Italian but also had a modern twinkly feeling. Food: They started us off with bread and olives. The olives were really food had a nice flavoring to it and they also gave us olive oil. The bread was soft and nicely salted. I got the Penne alla Norma but switched it out for the pappardelle pasta. The pasta was freshly made and the sauce was well seasoned. The vegetables were well cooked and enhanced the flavors of the pasta. The dessert was AMAZING and memorable. We got the Caramello al cioccolato. It came out nice and hot and had a nice balance of chocolate and nuts. Service: Our waiter was hilarious. While the restaurant is delightful in its ambience visually, the heat was not working and the restaurant was FREEZING! When I asked about why it was so cold, the owner/manager simply said he couldn't get it to work. He never circled to the table to ask if we were comfortable or offer a cup of coffee to warm us up. In fact he charged us for tea a second time as we finished the first pot and ordered another to keep warm! This place is such a hidden gem. I do y hear a lot about it but it is truly Italian. My husband and I went here for date night and we were transported back to Italy where we honeymooned. I had to get a Hugo Spritz since that's where I first learned of their existence and quickly fell in love with them 7 years ago. It was perfect. For a starter, we had the artichoke salad. It was full of flavors and textures. For dinner I had the bucatini with a vodka guanciale sauce. It was superb. The guanciale gave it a deep meaty flavor that is hard to find in most American style Italian food. My husband ordered the raviolo. It was good but I'm not a truffle person so it wasn't my favorite of the night. My husband loved it. For dessert we had to get the pistachio cheesecake. It was beautifully light and delicious. The service was meticulously perfect from start to finish. It was a well oiled machine but we didn't feel rushed at all. The most interesting twist of the night was that they brought out a LARGE jar of candy gummies while we paid the bill. It was a much appreciated, unique touch. It is so hard to review restaurants in Huntington because there are so many excellent ones like Joanina, Farm Italy and Piccolo but I'll do my best. Arrived last night at 6:30 and was seated right away at a lovely table in the back of the restaurant by Makenna who also served us. This is a small "neighborhood" restaurant with a family feel. The atmosphere is pleasing and the crowd lively. The food was definitely good but not better than the other three restaurants I mentioned. We started with espresso martinis which were made properly and delicious. For starters we enjoyed the beet salad and the artichoke and arugula salad which if I'm being picky was way more arugula than artichoke and needed a crunch factor like adding toasted pine nuts or hazelnuts. We enjoyed a next course of pappardelle ala bolognese, no complaints here it was delicious. Main courses where the linguine al limone which has perfectly cooked shrimp but maybe just a touch too much lemon for my taste and the Spanish octopus which was presented over a vibrant assembly of vegetables and olives but the octopus had a slight acrid flavor. I know this does not sound great but honestly it was all very delicious and I'm being a pit picky. Dessert was fantastic, pistachio cheese cake and hazelnut tarte. I really would love to give the establishment 5 stars but this trip it only earns 4. read more

I was very impressed with Edoardos after dining here. I know that it's been around for a little while, but I feel it needs more credit than it gets due to being overshadowed by Farm Italy. Edoardos is a very nice intimate cafe/restaurant, with charming vibes and decorative decor. The staff is attentive and well based on the menu, they will refill your waters and make sure you are good with your meal and food choices. We were one of the first people to try their new brunch options they are rolling out and I went for the classic Eggs Benedict with Salmon, and it was delicious. Great hollandaise, soft potatos, eggs cooked well. We also had some drinks, an Aperol Spritz and another Spritz. Decently made, not too bad. The Mellanzana is massive, we were able to split that but it wasn't too flavorful. The salad we shared was very well dressed and fresh ingredients. Had dinner in Edoardo's a few years ago and it was good. Not so good last Tuesday. Our waiter was disinterested and inattentive. My friend asked for a recommendation between 2 entrees and he rolled his eyes and said everything is amazing. 4 of us sat with wine while we stared at her martini at the bar. She went up to get her drink. Bread was set down at the table ....no butter, or oil. Had to request that. (Waiter had to pass by the martini to get the oil for us) Food was "eh" and had to ask for Parmesan and was delivered probably 1/2 ounce for a table of 5. Napoleons for dessert... barely ok. We decided to check out Edoardo's Trattoria after a recommendation from a friend, and we are so glad we did! The night couldn't have been better. The food was amazing, and the vibe was welcoming. When we got there, we were welcomed by McKenna, who is a sweetheart, friendly, funny, and the owner of an adorable dog. While waiting for our table, we sat at the bar and (happily) decided to eat there instead of at a table. Good choice (in our opinion) because we got the chance to meet Adi, who was friendly & so passionate about the food and the restaurant in general. It all made for such an enjoyable evening! The bread was homemade, and there was a thin, crispy flat that was so good! As a starter, we had the Prosciutto and pineapple (with burrata and candied hazelnuts). The combination of the prosciutto, the carmelized pineapple, and the creamy burrata was perfection. (Next trip, we want to try the mussels, they look so good!) Next up, we split a pappardelle alla bolognese. Hand-made pasta and a rich beef ragu, what more could you as for! For our entrees, Tom had the pollo scarpariello. According to Tom, it was the best he has had (and believe me, it's his favorite, so if it's on the menu, he's getting it). I tried some, and I have to agree, it was great...tender, and well seasoned. I had the veal scallopini valdostana...tender veal complemented by mashed potatoes with a subtle flavor of rosemary. Utterly delicious! Dessert was a basil panna cotta with a mixed berry reduction and fresh whipped cream. The panna cotta was so creamy, and the combination of savory basil and sweet berries was pure heaven. We had wine with dinner (and some great limoncello to finish), but the martinis looked great and are definitely on my to try list. The dish of mixed sweet and sour gummies that accompanied the check was a great touch. Before leaving, we had the pleasure of meeting Chef Edoardo (Adi's father). Not just a talented chef, he is sweet, humble, and just so nice! The experience made the trip from Queens to Huntington well worth it. We will absolutely be returning and highly recommend Edoardo's to anyone who prizes having fresh, delicious food prepared with care in a friendly, welcoming environment. read more

We made a plan to go for my birthday and I am so happy we did. It was absolutely incredible and I can't wait to come back over and over again This is not a large restaurant, rather more of a cafe. I believe there are different specials for lunch and dinner. We came for lunch and ordered the mushroom fettuccine dish and one of the specials which the name escapes me but was describe to be in a scampi sauce. And by described I'm mean Edoardo himself came out to tell us what the specials were (yes, chef). We were pleasantly surprised when the special past dish arrived as it also had crab legs that was soo tasty I almost forgot about the pasta. Speaking of the pasta, did I mention it is fresh pasta. And then because my birthday is coming up my cousin surprised me with a slice of the pistachio ricotta cake. Let me tell you, I think it is one of my favorite cakes ever. We didn't have a reservation and it was a Sat night, place was pretty packed but hostess was nice enough to have my party of 4 wait at the bar until a table opens up which she promised to only be a few minutes and it was! Waiting for a table took a lot less than waiting for our food which was over an hour! It was a Sat night and they were busy but the service and wait took a long time. The food was delicious though! We had the burrata with pineapple which was such a good touch since I love pineapples! The mussels were flavorful and will come back just for this! Then we had the lemon linguini with shrimp, pappardelle and lamb chops that was on the special and we all shared everything. You could really taste the lemon in the linguini, pasta was al dente and shrimp was a bonus! Pappardelle bolognese was yummy and lamp chops were cooked to perfection. Then we had the pistachio cheesecake which was heavenly and a great ending to our meal! While waiting for our food they offered more bread and gave us a bowl of gummy candy when paying our bill. There were five or six other couples waiting, we told the hostess we had a reservation, as did the other couples, she replied "we have a lot of tables, I'll call you when one is ready" and walked away. They did have a lot of tables, all of them were occupied. When you make a reservation for a specific time, that does not mean you have reserved a place in line in a packed, cold and dirty entrance Some folks were waiting out on the sidewalk. This is small quaint restaurant in Huntington and thankfully no one knows about it because of they did it would be impossible to get into. The front of the restaurant is Italian cafe by day and restaurant by night. With only 12 tables or so-the service is excellent. But what beats the service is the food: For appetizer we had the spinach salad consisting of fresh spinach -walnuts and pears with a light dressing. For entrees -we had the papardelle with lamb Ravi and spaghettene (not misspells) with Manela clams. It was outrageously delicious and exquisites. Really a 10 out of 10. The Chardonnay wine -they recommended fit perfectly. Seriously this is a great place. We have come here twice and I forgot to give a review but both times the food was fantastic. Finally got to visit the most talked about little place .. Eduardo's is a cute little restaurant , but it seems our Thursday night experience ended at that . Service at best was very inattentive , our group of four had an early seating so we beat the rush , but to our disappointment we had to wait for a greeting , and to order our first round of cocktails , infact we had to call our server to do so . When it came time to order no suggestions were made , we ordered appetizers for the table. Their mussels in white wine lacked the wine broth for bread dipping and made the shell fish dry . We also ordered the fennel salad which did present well with what might have been anchovies , Our main course , again not suggested The Pappardelle with Bolognese , I was disappointed that the supposedly Fresh house made Pasta was not that , I recently had fresh pasta at another local restaurant and it almost melted in my mouth . This was not even close , a very big disappointment. We also ordered a Veal dish , the veal was very nice , the boxed mash potatoes was tasteless and the broccoli was undercooked . Now to top it off , Not once .. did the server come to the table and ask if we wanted a glass of wine with dinner or for that matter ask how our dinner was. I saw this place on someone's instagram I follow so I of course looked it up on here. Truffles? OMG! Around the holidays we wanted to come see the cool tree in Huntington and eat delicious food. We came here and omg service amazing, food even more amazing. I'll never stop raving about this place. I'm actually trying to plan a return here to eat. Only thing stopping me is my son constantly getting us sick in this house this winter lol. Just what a cute place. If you want delicious food in a nice quaint place, come here. The server was indifferent to us. we were 5 people and 4 got drinks and the 5 th drink sat on the bar for awhile until 1 of us got up and got it and brought back to table. don't ask for a recommendation unless you want an eyeroll to be told everything is amazing. Went to this restaurant with another couple and had reservations. Parked across the street at the bank, but there did seem to be a small parking lot of the restaurant next to it. As you enter there is a nice little market case with dessert and fresh made past. You take a few steps up to the main dining room which is cozy, cute but tables are a little too close together, in a tight space and so the acoustics are fairly loud for conversation. There were fresh flowers on each table, which I love! They brought out a fantastic bread basket, which not every restaurant does nowadays, which I enjoy. Menu is a little limiting, there was only ONE fish dish, which we had. If I hadn't called ahead of time and found that out, we would not have come. Our food was delicious , prepared well, and the ravioli dish was very different and special. Very decadent! My Negroni cocktail was perfect / $18. The service was good , and there seemed to be a lot of staff. Regularly filled glasses of water which I always appreciate! It was a lovely relaxing environment.so the positives were, good food, good service. The negatives were 1) could not find dinner menu on line anywhere, only lunch menu. 2) a little noisy, so a little hard to have conversation 3) only 1 fish dish , which was a special for that day 4) portions were a little small for the price. Was the food delicious yes, but there is more than that to the food industry. The service was unfortunately not present and very inattentive, each time I visited. A lunch ended up being an hour between waiting for the food, waiting for the check, and for the server to run my card. I went 3 times hoping that there would be either be a change in service. I also wish them the best since it's a very hard economy and a difficult town to stay afloat in. There is another issue I have to address, the portion size for the amount of money is not equal. Love, love, LOVE this restaurant. My family of 4 had a dinner reservation at 6pm, but the hostess was so nice to sit us early. The ambiance was cozy (not in a small tight space way) and you feel like you're eating at your grandma's house. When the time for ordering, we had a nice gentleman explaining the specials and answered questions about the menu (he was very helpful). All the waitstaff were very friendly and attentive (not in an intrusive way). Let's talk about the food. They were all wonderful. We started with a marinated anchovies bruschetta style on toast. It was delightful! A bit tangy and savory. Perfect appetizer to start off the dinner. My husband had the Osso Bucco. He loved it a lot. Devoured it within minutes, although he did share some with the kids. One of my kid ordered a special, I believe it was fettuccine and shrimp with lemon sauce. It was too sour. I think there was too much lemon for my taste. My other daughter ordered a pasta dish with shaved truffles. It was amazingly delicious. You can taste the freshness of the pasta, and you get a generous coating of the creamy sauce with each bite. And to top it off, the shaved truffles added a good umami flavor to the dish. It was indeed "a chef's kiss" kind of a moment. I ordered a charred grill octopus as the main dish. The meat was a bit of a chewy side, but it was still very good. I especially enjoyed the charred parts of the tentacle. We also ordered a Cappuccino, one of my daughter ordered a macchiato, and my husband an after dinner amaretto drink. For dessert, we ordered a chocolate mousse cake, but they gave us a flourless chocolate cake instead (it was delicious). My husband mentioned the mistake in the order and the gentleman who took the order quickly gave us the correct dessert and did not charge us the flourless chocolate cake. He didn't have to, but very nice of him. I didn't speak to him much, but I do suspect that he might be one of the owner of the restaurant. We went to Eduardo's Trattoria for a pre new year's family gathering. We cannot say enough about each and every aspect, the food presentation and quality, the staff and the ambiance. The place was simply bustling with a great crowd, all clearly enjoying their time out. We had a variety of dishes and its really clear to all that know, that the pasta dishes were all made from fresh pasta, which at least to me is a big deal when going out for Northern authentic Italian food. A cozy little restaurant with an intimate, yet upbeat vibe. Tables are well placed with a nice bar. As far as we could tell, there was only one head waiter on this not so busy Sunday night, with two very nice helpers. We weren't in a hurry so we appreciated the time to linger and savor the fine wine selection; the barolo for me. The food was the real excitement of the evening. Everything was excellent. We started with the mussels, which were very tender in a tomato white wine sauce that was so good, we wiped the bowl clean with the Italian bread. The prosciutto and buratta appetizer was so fresh and creamy. My husband got the pappardelle bolognese, which reminded me so much of my nonna's ragu. The homemade pasta was excellent and I'm a pasta snob since we hand make our own. The sauce was not heavy, but so distinctly tasty. But the biggest surprise for me was the raviolo with truffles. One large ricotta filled pasta with truffle oil. So delicate tasting, and yet very filling. Rich. But just enough. We ended with the hazelnut mouse torte. Sublime. Quaint little cafe with exceptional food. Fresh ingredients. Everything we had was excellent and reminded me of dining in a cafe in Italy. Perfect low-key/laid-back atmosphere. Service was warm, knowledgeable, and attentive. Overall this place is a great cozy stop in Huntington to grab a meal. Looking forward to visiting again soon! read more

This is one of the absolute best restaurants I have ever been to in my life. I was a little worried when I ordered the ravioli and got one large ravioli piece, but it was undoubtedly the BEST ravioli I have ever! My hats off to chef Edoardo, who was able to make it delicious but not too filling with creams and fats. It tasted absolutely scrumptious. He also continually checked in on my table to make sure we had everything we needed. I am eternally grateful for the devine dining experience and will be back. Everyone must try this place, especially the ravoli! This is the perfect example of what a restaurant should be like! read more
