The Massimo, no longer on the menu, but I got it as a BYO panini!

New York Panini is one of my go to places in Huntington for take out. After partnering with the Mets and Coca Cola they've really ramped up the decorations inside and their own personal branding, which is really good to see! For the most part, their sandwiches are great, and there are so many options to choose from. My all time favorite used to be the Massimo, which was a panini with deli ham, fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, romaine, balsamic and herb mayo on ciabatta. While this is no longer on the menu, you can still get it through their BYO panini option, and that's what I do every time! Something about the salty ham and cheese with fresh greens and tangy balsamic really just satisfies every food craving I can think of. If you haven't already, do yourself a favor and order this!!!

Very pleasant staff that make up some delicious paninis that are large enough to bring leftovers home to enjoy the next time you have a hankering for some great tastes. Located just steps from the Christmas tree set up for the holidays, we came in for hot chocolate for the kids and we noticed some different beer from a local brewery for purchase in the cooler. The nice man behind the counter informed us that they were buy 3 get one free. A good deal for some local flavor Although the dining area was on the smaller side, it would be a good spot for 2-3 guests to eat together. A few high top tables were available for small groups. Well worth the stop in.

Called and ordered a chicken parm panini for pick up. The panini was awesome and huge, was able to feed two of us for lunch. Will definitely go back can't wait to try all of their different fun paninis!

I turn into a food monster when we get NY Panini takeout...

I have been a huge fan of NY Panini for almost a dozen years, dating back to when they were still called La Bottega. In all that time, nothing has changed in terms of the excellent quality of their paninis. It's one of my family's go-to delivery meals. Also a tradition for us for picnic dinners in the park, and whenever (pre-pandemic) me and my wife are headed in to NYC for a concert, we get paninis to go (usually the perfect classic eggplant parm) and eat them in the car on the way in. Anyway, you cannot go wrong with their selections. The Norbie Monster is AMAZING, consisting of not one but two burgers, with crispy bacon, peperoncino cheese, hot peppers, red onions, tomatoes, mixed greens and spicy mayo on a round rustic roll. My family dared me to finish it and I have finished it, more than once! Other faves I ALWAYS order: Caltanissetta (hot sopressata, fontina, hot peppers, tomatoes & baby arugula on ciabatta), Foggia (breaded eggplant, smoked mozzarella, olive paste & sun-dried tomatoes on krispina), Ancona (breaded chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella, hot peppers, mixed greens & tomatoes on ciabatta), Avellino (sweet sausage, smoked mozzarella, red onions, tomatoes & hot peppers on round rustic roll), Pepe (prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, sun-dried tomatoes, red onions, olives, hot peppers & spicy mayo on ciabatta), Catania (marinated tuna, fontina, olives, red onions & mixed greens on whole wheat). It isn't just Italian flavors, either. I tried the Pierre Park Po'Boy recently (fried shrimp, iceberg lettuce & homemade creamy remoulade sauce on a round rustic roll) and it rocked. Salads are also wonderful. We love the farro salad (grilled chicken, arugula, barley, grape tomatoes, hot peppers, hearts of palm, gorgonzola, honey mustard) as well as the beet salad.

Amazing. I wish this place was closer, I'd eat here everyday. My panini was delicious as were the sweet potato fries and just as good the next day!! Also very accommodating for gluten free, with plenty of options for celiacs.

We got the butternut squash which sounded very fancy on the menu but was just butternut squash with a piece of fried prosciutto stuck in each portion on top of cacio e pepe sauce which by the way was broken. We also got what we thought was going to be artichokes on a bed of arugula but was mostly arugula with a few small pieces of artichoke and some pistachios. It was bland, definitely needed some vinegar or lemon or something. Not worth the price, I could have thrown that together myself at home. We also had the spinach/pear salad. Again, I could have made that at home. I got the lemon shrimp linguine. I liked the pasta, I liked the sauce, I did not like the shrimp that came with it. They were tiny and maybe boiled, just not great. We also had the ravioli. One big extremely dense ravioli, raviolo or whatever a singular one is technically called. It was ok but so dense and rich. We also had the bolognese. Not the best. For the prices we paid we expected greatness. We each had dessert. So for the 3 of us the bill came to almost $300 with tip. I personally felt like the service did not warrant the tip but we left it anyway. We weren't checked on, we had to wait a long time to get the bill and we paid by phone app. The service wasn't great. I think the best part of the entire night was the little bucket of candy that we got with the check. The gummy butterfly was delicious! No, we won't be back.

When I reserved, I confirmed there would be live music. I got a call last minute that they cancelled the music. We had plans with friends and went anyway. The entrance portrays a speakeasy vibe which is done very nicely. The bartender was friendly, and overall service was solid 4. Appetizers were good. We had a special tasty empanada, fresh corn salad, crab cake and fried calamari. The corn salad had fresh greens and was tasty. It had a nice flavor and definitely refreshing. The crab cake was delicious. The calamari was ok. Restaurant has a limited menu, but enough selection in the few menu choices. When it came to main entrees sadly, they were out of lobster ravioli and lobster mac & cheese. The beef Wellington was a bit dry and overcooked (not medium rare as ordered) and plain-looking as it was sitting alone on the large plate. Desserts were excellent. We had homemade Oreo cake with fresh whipped cream and a very delicious creamy cheesecake. Absolute a five star for desserts. Overall: 3.5. Great atmosphere and desserts, but the rest was a bit disappointing.

Dead Chef's Tasting Menu at At 1654 Pizza Company - A Gold Coast Supper Club Experience Last night on Long Island's Gold Coast, I had the pleasure of experiencing something truly special: Dead Chef's tasting menu at At 1654 Pizza Company in Huntington. What unfolded wasn't just a dinner, but a full-on culinary performance that transformed the idea of a neighborhood pizza spot into a hidden gem supper club. The evening unfolded course after course, each dish layered with creativity, bold flavors, and a touch of surprise. From refined takes on comfort food to plates that made you pause and savor every detail, it was clear that this wasn't a typical night out--it was a carefully curated journey meant to linger in memory. The atmosphere matched the menu: intimate, buzzing with energy, and elevated by a sense of discovery.
